Really poor experience with this company. All over the place, let me place an order without telling me that they didn’t actually have the items in stock. I then waited 3 months to receive a totally incorrect order. They delivered a total mix match of colours of bedding. 3 pillow cases in one colour and 1 in another so wouldn’t even make an okay looking set. Really poor and would highly discourage people ordering from them. They’re now asking for me to post back the three incorrect pillowcases when they are of now use to me before they can send the correct ones.
Order placed January 12th still not received despite assurances that it would arrive shortly, we are coming up to nine weeks. Customer service too slow to respond and telephone number not working suggests that company in trouble. Am now reporting the company to my credit card for non receipt of goods. Avoid this company.
I placed an order for £150 for a bedding set, they sent me only 1 pillowcase, no explanation and thei customer service doesn’t respond to me. I am going to sue them
Pitiful customer service! No star would have been a more appropriate rating. Having placed a number of Christmas orders in November 22, despite postal strikes etc, all filtered through successfully well within time save an order from S C. After almost 3 weeks of non-delivery and then their confirmed, Signed For receipt of the goods return to them, almost six weeks have passed without my refund. Deplorable, contemptible and inept conduct by this company. PayPal will undertake the refund processes. Let this review serve as a stark warning never to shop here. I certainly will not again!
Very unimpressed. I bought a lot from SC. Sheets, dinner sest and glasses. 1 of the glasses came broken and over the last few months 4 more have broken. I have never put them in the dishwasher and wash them very carefully but there seems a fault where they develop a hole and the liquid leaks out at the base (messy). After many emails with them offering me a new set in white (mine were green and there are none left) and telling me they cannot refund or give credit because it's outside the returns time. Well, sorry my glasses didn't all break within the return policy time and no, obviously I don't want more glasses that break and don't match. They were £128 for 2 sets. I'm so annoyed and it's all such a waste of time. I won't be buying from them again having spent thousands.
carrying on from my previous review, I even tried to speak to the designer herself via Instagram and she kept asking me to take pictures as she did not understand the issue with my bowl there was always an issue with my pictures not her bowl yet everyone who I show the pictures to can clearly understand the issue, and they obviously are not designers of the bowl. Please please steer clear of this company unless you want to waste your money, I feel conned, the stupid thing is I have 2 bowls and the other is perfect but each time i look at in on my dining table I feel sick as i have been taken in so I am binning both bowls as i don't need this bad karma in my life.
I ordered 2 glass bowls, both were broken.i didn't open the boxes until out of the 30 day period because I assumed they were fine and had bought them as presents. Sophie Conran refused to replace or refund or give a credit note. Don't think I've ever come across such bad customer service.
Items delivered quickly but two were broken. That was before Christmas and it's now March and still they haven't managed to replace one item. Repeated errors, poor communication and then offered a 10% off voucher to make it up to me! No chance that I would order from them again, which is very sad as there products are lovely.
I ordered three plates which arrived in good time and condition, however , they were not suitable for my needs .
I returned the plates , at my cost , some £20 .
They received the plates back on Tuesday 07th September which they acknowledged, and now 02nd October I have still not received a refund and the company has stopped responding .
The products are beautiful so I recently ordered the hurricane candle holder. Unfortunately, upon collecting it from the Royal Mail delivery office, I was told that my parcel contained broken glass and I should refuse it. The post office worker told me that my item was completely loose in the box, not wrapped into anything at all. I was gobsmacked that someone would post a glass candle holder like that.

I love the crown candle holders that I ordered from Sophie Conran. However, I find the brand itself to be very churlish. I placed my order on 23rd December and on 26th December they started a 20% off sale, and the crown candle holder was included in the sale. I sent an email asking if they would honour the new sale price for me and received a reply a few days later to say that they have a policy that they do not honour sale prices! I find this to be mean spirited and to have an actual policy in place that stipulates this seems to be the very opposite of good customer care. Lots of brands refund the difference if a price reduces shortly after you order and this, in my opinion, is great customer service and I am far more likely to order from any brand doing this. Customer service is most definitely not at the heart of what Sophie Conran are doing and I will definitely be quite cautious before ordering again - who knows what other 'policies' they have in place that prevent a positive customer experience.
