Poor customer service
Been trying to get my refund for trip cancelled to Abu Dhabi in May, called and emailed on numerous occasions for my refund, been 10 weeks now and all they say is it is being processed so quick to take your money but now don't want to give it back

Creeps who will take your money and when you get a refund from the flight, not pass on your money to you and then scream at you on the phone with threats and what not. Stay away. No amount of savings (if any) are worth this.

If I could give zero stars
If I could give zero stars, I would. This company is completely self-serving and only cares about money.
My family has booked with Southall Travel for years — across multiple generations. It used to be our go-to. Not anymore!
We booked flights months in advance through Southall Travel with Gulf Air for my parents to travel to Pakistan. A few weeks before departure, my father was diagnosed with cancer and was declared medically unfit to travel. He had to start treatment immediately.
We contacted Gulf Air directly, and to their credit, they were compassionate, understanding, and explicitly confirmed they would not charge us given the circumstances. However, because the tickets were purchased through Southall Travel, everything had to go through them.
This is where the problem started.
Southall Travel showed zero empathy, zero flexibility, and zero humanity — despite clear medical evidence. As many other reviewers on Trustpilot have said, once there’s a problem, they simply do not care.
We were forced to raise a dispute with Mastercard and were granted a temporary credit of around £600, pending Southall Travel not counter-claiming within 30 days. They did counter-claim. The money was taken back — during one of the most stressful and frightening times our family has ever faced.
To lose that money while dealing with a cancer diagnosis is shameful, and Southall Travel should be embarrassed. This behaviour now appears to be routine and deliberate, judging by the volume of similar complaints.
Let me be clear:
Everything is fine until something goes wrong. When it does, you will not be treated fairly, humanely, or with any respect.
This is despicable and unforgivable behaviour, especially from a company we trusted for years. That relationship is permanently over.
**Never again.**
Do not book with them, go elsewhere.
Good luck if you do — because when you need help the most, you will not be heard.

Following my post, Flysharp contacted me directly. After several exchanges, it seems that the number I called was not Flysharp's number at all. It belonged to a criminal impersonator who had placed a fraudulent listing on Google using Flysharp's name - appearing at the very top of search results. Based on everything I now know right now, Flysharp was not responsible for the threat made against me.

Someone impersonating as flysharp made a threat of violence against me when I asked for my refund back.

Avoid at all cost
Avoid at all cost. Their service is absolutely shocking, they are brilliant up until they take your money. My trip got cancelled paid them almost £7000. Waited 10 weeks false promises were made different stories every time when they were contacted. Finally had to go legal to get money back. Not recommended at all stay away from them!

Have used southall travel for over two decades but this time they have dropped the ball.
Wanted to book four flights and was clear that I did not want restricted fares so that I could have options to upgrade in my control.
Low and behold the tickets are issued as restricted.
Got in touch within 1 hour of receiving the w tickets and was told to await the salesperson to call back.
Salesperson only called back 2 days later after I chased.
Complaint sent in writing on this date - not acknowledged and have called every day this week for a response.
Nothing.
It seems the tactic is to bury heads in the sand until the problem goes away. But in fact it’s just leaving them less time before a chargeback is filed with the bank.
