Money taken but no tickets issued + inexistent customer service
In March 2022, I tried to order tickets for a flight from Delhi to Gangtok (Pakyong Airport). The SpiceJet website malfunctioned and my money was taken but no ticket issued. The error message stated that in such case the money would automatically be refunded within 7 working days but of course that didn't happen. I contacted SpiceJet customer service but they have been absolutely worthless. From my point of view, not a single meaningful action has been taken and 2 months later the money still hasn't been refunded and there is only empty promises coming from their end. Would give 0/5 rating if I could

Bad experience with spice jet in Jaipur with Ambu Singh
I had international connection and just one carryon.
He wanted me to check that in. I told him that I don't have time to wait for luggage as I have international flight to USA within 3 hrs of arrival. He did not care. Stated I will have to pay 3000 Rs.
My tickets cost about 4-5000 Rs and bag cost was Rs 3000.
On the other hand I had taken my flight with same bag with Indigo they did not charge me anything.
Safety culture is really lacking
Safety culture is really lacking. Even their own pilots have said they're stressed to the max not to mention their maintenance is questionable. Overall dirty planes, bad service, and your chance of being in an "incident" seem more likely given their track record. Their De Havilland Q-400's are the most uncomfortable planes i've ever been on. Will NOT be flying with them again, I prefer to show up at my destination alive rather than a few dollars richer having saved money using an LLC

I won't recommend anyone to take spice jet airline. They know only how to harrase passengers. The airport security and officials are moron basically. I doubt whether they are educated or not..they are neither responsible nor cooperative. They don't even listen to passengers. They just know how to behave rudely, helping/providing service are far away.

I have been waiting over 6 weeks to get refunded my money for a booking that did not go through due to an internal system error their end.
I tried to book flight tickets on 09/03 which failed but the money was taken from my account. It stated at the time on the website that in case your booking is not confirmed but your amount is deducted then it will be auto refunded in 7 working days towards your account. I called them the following day to notify them but they told me to wait for the auto refund. I then called again on the 7th working day and was told that i should have called and sent in a complaint by email which I was not told on the first call. Long story short I have still not received my money 6 weeks later. I am getting hung upon after spending hours on the phone and spending a fortune on making international calls to them. I am receiving basic generic emails not answering my questions and not giving me any further timelines just asking me to wait. A joke of an airline that has no value for customer service.
Third class airlines
We booked our flight from Bengaluru to Bagdogra and our departure was at 8:30 AM on 24th March 2022. However our flight was delayed by 6 hours stating technical issue with the flight. Later we boarded the flight and 10 minutes before our landing, there is an announcement by the pilot that we will be dropped in Kolkata…haha is that even a freaking joke? Also after landing we were told that we have two options 1) To board the same flight and return to Bengaluru 2) Take a refund and get your way out to Bagdogra…third class service by Spice jet…will never trust them again…even local bus service are better

Still waiting for over a year for a refund from these thieves. Been fobbed off too many times , I will keep trying even if I have to wait till I get to India I want my money back!!! Absolutely disgusting customer service. I must have written over 20 emails and 20 times got the same rubbish in the reply.. the refund was on the way!!! Please do the honest thing and refund!!! I would have given them half star but there is no option. Motherfu**** sell tickets 2 months Back and then just before a week they change the fuc** schedule and put an unnecessary 6 hrs halt. And when you try to reschedule the flight, their shi*** website doesn’t work in this advance world of Wi-Fi and internet. These fuc**** are scammers. You don’t deserve this industry when you have so many unsatisfied guest. Fly with Spicejet is ok. just my bad experience is over their Coustomer Service, i had to wait half an hour to reach them.
on the othe hand, sometimes flight schedule will be changed but you have to sacrifice that because you booked cheap flight. nothing is 100% perfect in the world. my suggestion is just to improve Customer service to give a fast service. and also don't changed flight schedule too much.
Its been 40 days now that they haven't…
Its been 40 days now that they haven't refunded my money back for a flight which they cancelled ,resulting me to buy costly ticket on the same day of my travel.
So, I lost money at two place (one which i bought from spicejet which they are not refunding and second one by buying costly new ticket). They are so pathetic in terms of service.

Very poor service
Very poor service. The staff of spice Jet do not bother to give proper answer. Just like a football, idhar se udhar ghumate hain. Reschedule the flights unnecessarily. Customer care centres do not pick their phones inspite a lapse of 50 minutes. App service is also poor service. Overall I feels a bad experience.
Not dependable
They will accept your booking and then reschedule your flights to several days later multiple times throwing your plans in disarray. Not dependable.
Worst airline service
This is the worst airline service i have ever seen. I had booked ticket with spicejet for last year march (28th March). Due to covid reason they canceled the flight. I rescheduled the tickets for the next available date, and again the flight was canceled. After this i didnt travel, and when i asked them for refund, they told the refund will be done only after one year, that is march 2021. Since march 2021 i am communicating with them for the refund.. They always say that refund will be done shortly but still after 6 months nothing has happened to far. They never deny regarding the payment, but they will keep on delaying without paying you the money. they are world class cheaters. Giving 1 star because its not possible to give - starr. Definetly will not recomment to anybody.

No proper facility
9-10hr flight and no food, when asked for food, they said due to covid we are not providing any meal on board but our tickets showed that we have meals(i.e. we didn't get any meal.
even the welcome snacks also have 5rs chips (are you kidding me, how could you even find it!!!)
poor wifi( when people complaint about wifi speed, they turned it off)
no room for our handbags, have to keep them under the seat, resulting in back and leg pain ) because it was a long flight and we can't even straighten our legs.
even the night light was on our side was ON the whole journey, when we asked to switch it OFF they said it will remain as it is.
Really, a hell of an experience.

This is in regards to my flight for April 03 2021 my pnr number is CC29PW flight number SG 8373 I had the flight early morning at 6:45 am from Delhi to Srinagar me and my siblings were travelling together as there was death in our family my grandmother had died because of cancer we reached airport check in counter to drop our baggage at exactly 5:50 am which was exactly one hour and 5 mins before our departure so eventually they should not stop us as we had already checked in online the only thing we needed to do was to drop our bag so there comes the problem the ground staff was so damn bad they were so impolite n rude so unprofessional there was this girl named UPASANA at check in counter she was like no no mam u are late I told her I have one hour and 5 mins I am checked in already all you need to do is send my check bag she was so rude like illiterate person she started shouting like anything as if she wanted to grab my collar n slap me she literally embarrassed us there I told her please try n understand there is death in my family I don't have time for all this I told her you are wasting my time the time you have wasted argumenting here you could have sent our bags and I would have been long gone to my boarding gate and she said now there is no way you can go coz you are completed late now you have 45 mins left only now we will not let you to go now I told her you have wasted my 20 mins here and now you are telling me you won't let us go coz 45 mins are left now and she literally changed the sign in front of me to closed while she said this.i was left with no option I had to purchase a new ticket for me my brother and sister at that time I had to spend 20k last minute plus I had to wait for 5 hours at the airport as the next possible flight I found was at 11.45 am all this inconvenience which was just coz of that lady's ignorance and she literally laughed on my face i am really really disappointed by the services of spicejet I literally do not want to deal with spicejet ever again I would never ever fly spicejet ever again I would never let anyone in my circle to choose spicejet ever such a shame spicejet this is such a Shame to you spicejet. How can everything about a plane ride be bad? First they say they will send boarding pass by email and don't, next the staffs are extremely confused in the baggage counter and they are moving around like zombies letting the queues becoming longer ,bumpy ride,rough landing and argumentative, rude staffs.Dont fly in Spicejet unless extremely compelled.

They have kept few bunch of illiterate and useless people on the desk who don't know their own system and are so fussy about finishing their shift that they will say you to wait for new shift guys
