The DPD driver dropped coffee machine

The DPD driver who was commissioned by them dropped my £500 coffee machine on the floor outside my front door, damaged the front of it Stafford’s told me it would be replaced. As it was all scratched. This didn’t happen so now I have had it returned all scratched. Absolutely rubbish company do not use these find someone else .
Stafford’s where informed twice about the damage . And took no action in the end .

Very, Very Slow and with no communication

Delonghi recommended this company to fix my coffee machine - although they referred to them by the name 'Repair it Reuse it'. It took them 3 months. There was zero communication except when I chased them. To be fair they did respond promptly on 2 of my 3 monthly chases (the final one they didn't respond to). I did get the machine back in the end, and it works fine, so not a complete disaster.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS....this company is a joke. My tefal iron which is still under warranty was collected by DPD and delivered to Staffords. I rang Stafford’s on 7 December and was advised my iron will get seen to in next 24 hours. I rang today and was advised my iron will get looked at by and engineer on Friday. How pathetic. I am really disappointed with Tefal for using a company like Stafford’s who I believe are a bunch of liars. Surely there must be other reputable companies out there. I have emailed Tefal and gave them my opinion on Stafford’s. I also would like others to stay well away from Stafford’s.

What a disgusting Company.

What a disgusting Company.
They are rude, have no clue how to treat customers at all.
They have had my Krupps Coffee machine for over 4 weeks, no info from them, i have had to call several times and just get told they are busy.

With all the little businesses struggling because of COVID its a pity that some of these repairs cant be given to them as these big companies dont deserve to get the business as they just dont care.

Absolutely terrible experience

Absolutely terrible experience I do not recommend them at all. They collected my Delonghi coffee machine, called me and asked for more money to fix it, then said they had sent it back to me, but it never arrived. When I told them I had not received my machine they offered zero help and just told me to contact ParelForce. As a result I've paid as much money as buying a new machine and still don't have a coffee machine. Complete fail for the concept of repairing machines, and a total rip-off.

Came back more broken than before

I have no idea why Kenwood insist on using Stafford's as their repair agent. My 5 year old could've done a better repair job on my mixer. It was returned to me damaged (chips to the outer casing) and put together incorrectly!! I was without it for 6-7 weeks and it still wasn't returned, even though it went through as 'urgent' apparently. Kenwood had to replace my mixer.

Technically excellent, admin currently chaotic

Staffords have serviced my Delonghi coffee machine twice in the last five years (it sprung minor leaks) and both times it has come back working just like new. The first time they were totally brilliant and the whole thing took only 48 hours from courier collection to return. Last month the admin was shambolic and it took 7 weeks from my initial contact, but I believe we can blame Covid-19. The repair itself was as good as before.

I strongly recommend them but perhaps ask some hard questions about response times before you send your machine in.

The company who send your items back damaged!

If only it was possible to give them zero stars.

Staffords are the repair agents for Kenwood stand mixers. However, they are totally incompetent and negligent. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

My Kenwood stand mixer experienced some flaking off of the enamel around September 18 , so the machine was sent to Staffords for repair. Staffords sent the machine back to me in far worst condition than what I had sent off to them. The top of the outer body of the machine was covered in lots of scratches, so the machine had to go back to them for a 2nd time, for them to rectify everything.

In approximately August 2019, my Kenwood stand mixer experienced some more flaking enamel. John Lewis who I had purchased the machine from in 2018, wanted Staffords to inspect the machine to determine the cause. Yet again Staffords sent the machine back to me in far worst condition, there was a nasty crack to the top of the machine's outer casing.

I reported this disgraceful damage to John Lewis who then contacted Kenwood themselves, Kenwood then wanted to inspect the machine . My machine was sent off and Kenwood's own engineers (not Staffords) then noted amongst other things.

”.....the high speed outlet was badly assembled and one of the gear box screws was only partially inserted and the plastic insert base was badly warped”

Yet Kenwood seemed totally reluctant to blame their incompetent repair agents Staffords for the damage and sat on the fence and simply stated, it was unclear how the machine ended up in this state. Although. Kenwood upon my request refunded me in full for cost of the machine.

Staffords are a total disgrace, incompetent and negligent and their engineers take no care at all in repairing items. And show a total lack of training in carrying out repairs, I wouldn’t trust them to repair a £1 item from the pound shop never mind a £940 stand mixer. I cannot believe Kenwood still use these clowns as their repair agents.

These are the approved repairer for Krups. Sent my machine that was leaking back to be repaired under warranty. They had the machine for a month and when they finally returned it the same fault was there but worse and it also no longer even makes coffee. Shockingly poor service.

Does nothing other than charge for assessments

Sent in a Kenwood Chef, a month later they tell me they can't get parts (a new PCB) and I pay for a return (having paid the 16 pound "assessment charge") rather than have them "scrap" it. Getting it back, it is evident that it has not been opened, so I decide to have a go myself. The broken part turns out not to be a PCB but a 4 quid bit of plastic from ebay.

spoke to the manager john about my steam iron that came back with the same problem and found him rude and unhelpful, i have paid out of my own pocket and wasted my money. do not use this useless company bad repairs and bad management AVOID

Just wanted to thank the team at Staffords Ltd for their great customer service and attention.

I have a Krups Beer Machine that was not working correctly. The machine was collected from my work place exactly when I was told it would be, fixed (job number 1345869) and returned to me exactly when I was told it would be. Furthermore it was only with you for 3 working days.

Really appreciate your terrific service.

one of the worst companies

As someone else said - you should be able to give no stars. This is the second machine I have sent them for repair and the second time it has come back not working - with the original fault. They obviously do not test the machines before return. Why do companies insist in using this useless time wasters

Disappointing

Considering this was the recommended repair company from Delonghi themselves, this is very disappointing. I haven't yet received my machine back 2 weeks later, and every time I call for an update they tell me something different. It's been a week since they told me they need to order parts for the repair, and they haven't yet ordered parts.

1 star is generous

Summary: Machine not fixed, phone calls not answered, machine sent back missing parts, confusing booking process, collect from wrong location and general chaos.

I purchased a Delonghi coffee machine which stopped working after a year. I decided to use the official repair centre (Delonghi website points this company). Big mistake. Booking a repair is confusing and unclear. The company picked up the coffee machine and all parts, claimed they fixed it and sent it back missing the key parts (like where you put the coffee). Speaking to someone in customer services took ages. No one answered the phone. No one replied to messages. In the end I had to speak to some poor lady in finance (she was more helpful that the other staff). Eventually I sent the machine back to be looked at again. It came back but stopped working after a few weeks. I sent it back again. There was confusion with picking the machine up and they went to the wrong address. Despite already being on the system, I got no correspondence about my repair or any notification that my machine had been sent back to me. I am told that there is nothing wrong with my machine. It seems the time I spent outlining the problems on the phone have been ignored. This company is just a joke. They pay no attention to detail, get things wrong all the time and don't bother to answer the phone. Shame on you Delonghi for pairing up with this company.

NO OPTION FOR ZERO STARS!! Awful

Awful, they have taken close to 3 week to repair a Tefal vacuum which is in warranty, no updates at all, poor communication, I chased again today and they promised to call back before 4pm with a replacement / resolution - spoke to Harry, it is 1817 & nothing! CASE NUMBER 00658072

Useless

They repaired a beer pump. Got collection and drop off date wrong. They returned the pump with parts missing so it is unusable. I was told by three separate operators that the missing parts were on their way. But still nothing. Have now given up as they don't answer the phone or respond to messages. Crap.
