Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience. I have never experienced anything like this before — it felt as though I was being punished simply because I did not have a private parking space available for the delivery van.
The driver was rude, argumentative and aggressive. To be clear, I did not ask him to park illegally or to carry the washing machine manually. He suggested the parking arrangement himself and told me he had a special trolley for transporting the appliance.
My main concern is how the company dealt with my subsequent Health & Safety concerns regarding access, manual handling, equipment and risk assessment. I have over 15 years’ experience as a Health & Safety auditor and raised specific, legitimate questions, but instead of addressing them, the company referred to a confidential internal investigation and closed the matter.
Although I received a refund, that does not resolve the concerns I raised. I expected a professional and transparent response. This experience has seriously undermined my confidence in the company, and I would encourage potential customers to think carefully before purchasing.

We are genuinely sorry that your experience with Stellison Ltd has left you feeling so disappointed. We have been a family-run business for many years, and we take it personally when a customer feels that the service they received fell short of what they should expect from us.
We want to reassure you that the concerns you raised were taken seriously. Following your complaint, we carried out an internal investigation into the circumstances surrounding the delivery, including the points you raised regarding access, manual handling, equipment and risk assessment. We also spoke with the members of our team involved so that we could properly understand what had happened.
We were particularly concerned to hear that you felt the driver's manner was rude, argumentative or aggressive. That is certainly not how we want any customer to feel when dealing with our team, and your comments formed an important part of our investigation.
We completely understand that, given your own Health & Safety experience, you wanted detailed answers to the individual points you raised. While we have considered those points as part of our investigation, there are aspects of an internal staff investigation that we are simply not able to share publicly or in detail. We are sorry if this gave you the impression that your concerns had been dismissed, because that was certainly not our intention.
We cancelled the order and provided a full refund of the sale. We appreciate that a refund does not change the experience you had, nor does it necessarily address every concern from your perspective, but we felt it was the appropriate resolution in the circumstances.
Most importantly, your feedback has not simply been filed away and forgotten. We have reviewed what happened with the relevant team and will use the experience to help us improve how situations such as this are handled in the future.
We are sorry that on this occasion we were unable to provide you with the standard of service we aim for. Although we appreciate that you may not agree with every aspect of our response, we hope you can at least be reassured that your complaint was listened to, investigated seriously and acted upon.

After having 3 fridge freezers go wrong in a short time, my new frost free fridge freezer arrived nice and early and was put in place in my kitchen. The delivery driver told me to let it stand for 4 hours before I started it up and let it get to temperatures before putting food in which I did. I prefer to buy from a local independent shop as they are more helpful.

The whole process was excellent
The whole process was excellent. I received a delivery date confirmation , then a phone call from delivery team 30 minutes before arrival . The Fridge was put into position and levelled .all packaging was removed . I then received instructions on its use. Perfect service .
