I rang the dealership because i noticed…
I rang the dealership because i noticed from the service book it appeared my Cayenne needed a service and i was four months late……….. I Rand through to service and because of the high turnover in the service team, they had no idea who i was, couldn’t find me in the system, and when they did my car was still in the old owners name. More than that i was informed my car did indeed need a service, I hadn’t been told by email because the car was in the wrong name………..and that service the car needed was a 6 year service costing 1200 pounds……… I almost booked it in and would have paid until I couldn’t believe it did need a service. I rang sales and within 5 mins i was informed it had indeed had a service before i bought the car and it isn’t due another until October 2027………… I almost booked it in and would have paid for a service not needed…….. Thank goodness for the brilliant sales team.

Poor experience
Poor experience - I specifically spoke to the dealership to ask about warranty repair terms for a broken down vehicle and was told that the vehicle could be taken to any approved Porsche garage for diagnostics.
On having this done at my own cost, I was told that a warranty repair could not be undertaken without bringing the (undriveable) vehicle to Porsche Cambridge - and that I would have to get the vehicle towed there at my own expense.
This was particularly galling after I specifically checked this in advance of having the vehicle recovered to the alternative garage closer to my house.
A courtesy car was not provided.
Communication was awful, with multiple assurances that I would be called back straight away but nothing heard for days. At one point I was told that the dealership didn’t know where my car was – had it been sent to Royston?!
In the second week they seemed to get a better grip on things and communication was better, although I was given hope that the vehicle would be ready on Tuesday but this was delayed to Thursday.
Could do better.

Simple MOT 10:30 to 12:20.
Didn't like having an appointment time of 10:30 and car still parked outside at 10:45.
Car not ready till 12:20 (MOT only).
Car not washed.
Had to rush for appointment in Hertford.
Thinking of changing to Porsche at Hatfield.

Tim Cogger, workshop controller kept me upto date and even though the work which was booked in had been carried out, they noticed another error on the test drive and rectified this before delivering the car back to me.
