MoT for my car, first visit following purchase of 4 year old Porsche with Porsche dealer warranty (not purchased here). Had been noticing a "rattling" sound from engine, asked if someone would just listen to it to see if it needed an inspection. Answer, no. I would have to pay £300 for a separate inspection to investigate that. That's not what I call good customer service. Just for someone to have a listen whilst the car was undergoing a MoT!...In fact why didn't the MoT reveal a cracked pulley tensioner...made of plastic which I'm told often fails. Car, shortly after, flagged up a warning so I took it to a different Porsche dealership....attended to failed part, even changed a faulty fuse without cost. Sadly, a poor reflection on Colchester.

My car was booked in to investigate a fault light / warning message…

At the beginning, I was introduced to the technician where we discussed my car’s issue. He then worked on my car in the Direct Dialogue Bay (a single glass enclosed service bay next to the service reception).

Once the work had been completed, I was invited into the Direct Dialogue Bay to discuss what work had been completed. Where I was also offered a look around the underside of my car, which I accepted. It was really great to see that everything is was in good order.

Both Joe and the service technician were great guys, and a pleasure to meet.

I recently had my car serviced at Porsche Colchester, and I want to start by praising Joe, the engineer who handled my car. He was extremely helpful, professional, and a pleasure to deal with throughout — no complaints there at all.
Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the dealership's customer service policy. I was told no courtesy car was available, which was a real problem given I live in Rayleigh. I had to arrange for someone to follow me all the way to Colchester just to get a lift home. Joe kindly offered a £50 Uber voucher as a gesture, but I couldn't get a booking for the Thursday morning collection, and with work commitments the earliest I could then get the car collected was the following Tuesday. In the end, my son had business in Colchester that day, got a colleague to drop him off there, and picked the car up for me.
When he brought it back, he questioned why I'd booked in with Colchester at all. It turned out he'd had his own car serviced earlier in the year and, on finding out there was no courtesy car available, had booked into East London Porsche instead — where he had a great experience. Shame he never mentioned it to me at the time.
So — full marks to Joe for his professionalism, but zero marks to the dealership for how it treats customers who travel to use them. As a result, I'll be taking my business to East London Porsche from now on.

Wonderful customer service experience when buying the 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet , Victoria was so helpful and very knowledgeable, going above and beyond to deliver our car to our door after a full day at work, arriving at 10pm following a 3 hour drive, and then having to drive home, can't thank you guys enough!

Although only had my Porsche Macan a week the service I have received is 10/10. From the reception team to Joseph in Sales and Ben for my masterclass today! Let's hope this continues with aftersales.
