Avoid avoid, customer services don’t care

Never received my parcel with 2 watches that I ordered early December from Debenhams. Debenhams told me to contact Stuhrling direct which I did and they asked me to return the watches and I will get a refund, have tried numerous times to tell them I didn’t receive them with no reply. Will never ever buying one of these watch’s online, their customer services are diabolical.

Don't touch with a barge pole

** update*** Debenhams have sorted this out and I finally have my refund!!! Don't touch with a barge pole, I wish I had read reviews before I bought from them, purchased a watch which I didn't like when it arrived and arranged a return, it was sent to them 20/12/2024 and tracking says delivered on the 24th December however as I still haven't had a refund and have sent various e mails I them contacted Debenhams from where I purchased the watch, turns out they are unable to help as the tracking doesn't actually have an address for where it was actually delivered too, I never even noticed this, why is there no delivery address and Debenhams won't refund as they're is no delivery address, an absolute shambles from both Debenhams which I actually regularly purchase through and stuhrling, look like I can say goodbye to my money

If useless service…

If you read a few reviews about late out of stock no delivery that what these cowboys do. DEBENHAMS was where I ordered from and they should not be allowed to function. Worse than useless. Trying to get a refund is like pulling teeth.
Don’t buy stay away from Debenhams for anything.

Never arrived

Ordered the watch 48 hour delivery,never turned up. Chased them they said lost in post, so reordered still never turned up they then sent e mail out of stock, sending refund

It's now the 9th of Jan and I've just received the wrong watch...
It was an Xmas present for someone and it's completely wrong....
Never use them ever again.

So. As with all other comments ive read I to have been sold a piece of cheap crap something id expect to buy on a beach in Spain!! The strap wasnt even on when I opened the box. WTF has gone wrong with DEBENHAMS???

Scammers

I ordered a watch before Xmas on Debenhams, I didn’t receive on time it come way after Christmas and when I was contacting Debenhams I was just told to wait, keep waiting. I then received the item around 3.5weeks later and needed to return as it was too late. I was told I needed to contact Sthurling who provided me a Royal Mail link to return, before I even shipped item back I got an email saying thank you for your return refund amount £15.30. The watch I bought is £76.49!

Theses people are near to impossible to contact and completely ignore any emails. It is clearly a scam taking people’s money!

Debenhams you should also be ashamed of yourselves for letting such company sell under your name!

I want my money back!!!!!!!!!!

Have your cheap china made of watch back, I could find better quality in the £1 shop.

I will now have to contact my bank and request a charge back.

Avoid this brand at all costs, along with Debenhams too!!!

If I could give zero points I would. Firstly, Debenhams fake customer services, a complete waste of time. Secondly, I ordered a Stuhrling watch on the 13th December 2025 Was constantly in contact with Debenhams stating that I had not received it and neither had Royal Mail. It was due to be delivered on the 20th Dec. It is now the 5/1/25 and be it myself and Klarna have had no communication from Debenhams

Debenhams…shame on you

I bought a watch on 14/12/2024 via Debenhams expecting it to be delivered for a Xmas present. It was marked as dispatched on tracked delivery but was never collected from Stuhrling. I kept contacting Debenhams asking for update and then pre Xmas for a refund as had to purchase another gift. Just kept getting put off by Debenhams, ‘wait for this , wait for that’, I made it clear I no longer needed watch on multiple occasions and wanted refund but received watch today despite protestations. It was despatched 24hrs ago, absolutely fuming and won’t be using Debenhams again!!!!

Avoid buying from these crooks

Ordered a Stuhrling watch on 18/12. Not arrived. Debenhams customer service is non existent. I keep being told to wait, but no sign of anything and Debenhams won't answer me. Fraudulent company trading on a previously good name.

Avoid Debenhams and Sturhling Original

I ordered a Sturhling Original watch from Debenhams as a gift for Christmas. I was promised a 5-7 day delivery. The watch has not arrived. Debenhams were paid for the watch via debit card and Paypal. Debenhams has agreed that the item is 'lost in transit', with no feed back from either Sturhling Original or the carrier DBZ. I have requested a refund from Debenhams , which has been refused, by Debenhams citing that my purchase contract is with Sturhling Original and not with Debenhams, even though it was Debenhams who were paid for the goods.
I will eventually be re-united with my money via Paypal and/or the Consumer Credit Act Section 75 provisions.
In the mean-time it is my advice to avoid purchasing any goods from Debenhams and certainly never from Sturhling Original.

AVOID

I bought watch 3 months ago and of course it stoped working. I bought them from Debenhams so I would expected to deal with them regarding refund or repairs but no luck. Debenhams keeps sending my question to Stuhrling and all I got from them is to send the watch to New York and pay for it myself. Debenhams is not helping and I’m out of pocket of nearly £200 for watch that not working. Avoid

I purchased a So & Co Watch from…

I purchased a So & Co Watch from Debenhams on 30th April this year received it in May and wore it 3 times in November the watch stopped working. I wrote to Stuhrling and got told I would have to resend the watch back at $30 dollars for a repair? I have wrote to Debenhams saying how is this as I would had thought from May untill November a brand new watch battery should last over a year and feel its not a great customer service given I paid £53.50 for a watch that has worked just 7 months and worn 3 times. I have other watches that have Battery's that are still going after 2 years. So looks like both companies not willing to send out a new battery or even Debenhams able to return my email regarding this service given by one of its suppliers.The funny thing this watch was reduced so they state from over £350 which I really can't believe 🤔 perhaps buying from this company they should state battery last 6 months max

Bought one 3 years ago, needed one for work that I didn’t mind knocking about. It’s a quartz divers watch and it was just under £100 with a supposed retail price of over £500. It’s worth what I paid and it still works but it’s a cheap watch, wouldn’t buy another, it’s done its job but a used Seiko would have been better for similar money or even a new one. Think hard before you buy one!….

Bought the global voyager watch from Debenhams in a sale,discounted by 90%. No one would ever pay the retail price for it,I’m not happy with 90%discount. Absolute rubbish and looks cheap.It would be embarrassing giving it to a charity shop. How someone can give these watches 5* and a watch collector is beyond me. Avoid this crap at all costs.

Worst quality watches and customer service. Do not buy!

I recently bought a Stuhrling watch and it arrived with some damages and scratches on the band. I have emailed Stuhrling with no response. I have tried calling their number they have listed on their website numerous times and no one picks up. I think all the numbers they have listed are fake. It is just an automated recording telling you someone will be on the line with you shortly and after waiting it says to leave a message. I am stuck now with a damaged watch. I have also tried to write a review and leave it on the Stuhrling website and it does not appear. They only seem to accept the good reviews. Save your money and buy a better watch somewhere else.

Defective Watch, Unresponsive Customer Service – Warranty Not Honored for EU Customers

I purchased a Stührling watch in March, but by July, a defect with the red dial appeared without any misuse. I reached out to Stührling to request a repair under warranty, as required by EU law, but after more than a month and multiple follow-up emails, I have yet to receive any response. The lack of communication has been incredibly disappointing, especially since I’ve come across similar complaints from other customers about this same defect. If you’re in the EU and expect warranty support, be cautious—my experience has been frustrating, with no resolution in sight.

Second hand thicker than minute hand! Confusion!!

I like the watch and how it looks.
My one big issue is that to check the time,I have to stare for a couple of seconds more than is normal. The second hand is thicker than the minute hand!!
A real confusion! Shame. Has anyone else noticed this clear engineering error? JH

AVOID AVOID AVOID The biggest pile of scrap metal money can buy. I bought several of their watches thinking I was buying quality. Turned out that not long after all started to discolour and or corrode. Some are now so bad they are simply scrap and can only be thrown in the bin.
