Buying a used car from this dealership couldn't have gone more smoothly.
Yvonne was friendly and approachable. She allowed me time to think and wasn’t at all pushy. I was able to contact her easily and she gave me regular updates.
After picking my car up, it was booked in for the MOT on another day. Katie was extremely helpful and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. I was given a courtesy car to use.

I recently purchased a car from here and dealt with Ryan who was absolutely amazing, he kept me updated from start to finish with any updates on the car, he went out of his way to send me an in depth video of the car when it arrived before I came down to see it. Ryan was very professional, friendly, patient and went the extra mile for me. He was Happy to answer all my questions, Ryan also gave me a follow up call to see how the car was which I’ve never had before I thought it was really nice as it showed he genuinely cared for his customers. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience purchasing a car and it was all because of Ryan. I will happily return here in the future for a new car I had an amazing experience and extremely happy with the car I purchased. I also briefly dealt with Tom for the finance paperwork who was also fantastic very friendly and managed to deal with it all quickly even on a busy day.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience genuinely deserves one.
The sales process at Sytner Select Wakefield was actually very good — smooth, professional, and gave me confidence in the purchase.
Unfortunately, everything after that was the complete opposite.
The aftercare has been the worst I’ve ever experienced. Communication was practically non-existent, response times were shockingly slow (if you got a response at all), and I was repeatedly given information that turned out to be untrue.
On top of that, staff were often rude and completely unhelpful, offering no real support when issues arose.
It got to the point where I had no choice but to reject the vehicle entirely. Even during the rejection process, things were unnecessarily difficult and poorly handled.
While returning the car, I spoke to two other customers who were going through similar experiences — one of them was also in the process of rejecting their vehicle. That says a lot.
If you end up dealing with Morgan, be prepared for a frustrating experience.
Expect unreturned calls, broken promises, and a complete lack of accountability.
Really disappointing overall — a good initial impression completely ruined by appalling aftercare.

I purchased a car from Sytner that was faulty
I purchased a car from Sytner that was faulty from the outset. Within two weeks it needed oil, and a warning light appeared when accelerating. After arranging diagnostics (which required me to take time out and use public transport), 18 faults were identified.
Despite being told the issue was fixed (a turbo pipe replacement), the problems persisted immediately on a long drive home. Further delays followed, and after 10 months and multiple diagnostics, I was finally told the engine needed replacing—yet was still advised to keep driving the car.
The issue was eventually pushed toward the warranty company, and only after involving the Motor Ombudsman did Sytner agree to buy the car back. Even then, they deducted for mileage and valued it lower than the purchase price.
Overall, a frustrating and prolonged experience with poor resolution. I regret not rejecting the car within the first 14 days.

Excellent customer service
Superb service from Sytner Wakefield - Kit was very helpful and helped us secure a new car, she provided various options and there was no hard sell, she was very friendly and approachable and made the process very straight forward. We live 1hr 30mins from Wakefield and obtained the same quote from our local dealer, however, we decided to give the business to Wakefield due to the very helpful and friendly nature of Kit. We also dealt with Daniel Green the business manager, who assisted with the finance side of things, again Daniel was very friendly and the overall experience has been very positive. Well it went down...
So we bought a car from Sytner Select Wakefield on the 7th of March.
While my original review was 5 stars, this one is an update as everything went down the drain.
On the drive back home, the check engine light went on and has been on since then. The Stop/Start function doesn't work. One of the rear seat has his lever broken and this wasn't noticed while we checked the car has we didn't knew how to fold it nor did the sale rep.
We've contacted Sytner Wakefield regarding theses issues the next day (the 8th) and since then, even if Zain tried to help us, the car hasn't been fixed yet and we need it fixed by the 26th of March.
We've been offered to be booked in Sytner Select Bristol instead of Wakefield for the repairs through a phone call on the 11th of March because it is closer to our home. Then nothing happend so I message and called Wakefield again. Zain, again, tried to help.
I then received an email from Wakefield Service team last wednesday to book in Bristol instead of Wakefield, so nothing had been done during the week.
One week had been lost, and again, the car is still waiting to be fixed.
We took the 3 years warranty and seeing this written:
You can be confident that the vehicle you have chosen has been prepared to the highest standards.
and being in our situation feels a bit weird.
So our first experience was indeed nice but since then it has been really bad, and I hope we will finally have the car fixed and up to Sytner standards.

Mariusz dealt with everything so quickly and with no hassle
Bought a car recently and was handled throughout by Mariusz Mezykowsk. Was a really professional procedure and all my questions and queries were dealt with promptly. Really pleased with how easy all the process was especially the pick up of the car as was swift and quick as Mariusz and everything well prepared before we even arrived.
