Every time I order from Taunton Leisure, I get my item the next day (or the day after, on the odd occasion). It's always nicely packaged and exactly as described and ordered. They have a really good variety of stock to suit all budgets, and they are a Patagonia and Tilley stockist which is a big plus for me. I've been so impressed with Taunton Leisure. Their prices are always competitive when products are searched for online, and the transaction/delivery is seamless. Usually when you get a good price it equates to a long delivery time, but not with these guys.

I needed to upgrade my hiking and running gear in a number of areas and decided to visit an old friend, the family run, Taunton Leisure, a company that sold me my current hiking boots from over 26 years ago. They are darn good boots, but now need to take things a little more easy!
The 40 mile special journey from Barnstaple to the Taunton branch proved well worthwhile. I had a reasonably good idea of what I wanted, but the seriously good injection of expert advice that was given by staff members meant that I came away completely confident that I had purchased quality items. You never get that feeling when you purchase from one of the large chain stores.
I ended up purchasing a pair of hiking boots, a hiking day pack and a ultra light weight waterproof jacket, primarily for running.
Most of us have to be careful with our pennies. I can vouch that Taunton Leisure's prices are very competitive indeed.
For those of you who live too far from TL's stores in Taunton, Exeter and Bristol, they have a very good web site and offer an online purchasing option.

Excellent service and good value

I’ve used TL a few times over the years and always found them cost competitive and with excellent customer service. My most recent purchase was not delivered correctly which left us without any goods. TL, without any request, offered us a free replacement as a gesture of goodwill which was fantastic. Couldn’t recommend any more highly!

It took a bit time to arrive. I have not opened it yet. I bought it as it was on great sale price. I am a outdoor person and couldn't help to let that item go away on that price.
Good thing is if I don't use it and if I changed my mind I can return within 90 days which is bonus.

I've used Taunton Leisure a few times now and I've always found their pricing very competitive, their deliveries quick and returns are easy. On the odd time I've had to email them they've replied really quickly. Every interaction has been positive. Returns up to 90 days later is a really good policy. Can't think of anything negative at all - will continue to use!!
