A 10 for staff, cleanliness, attention and the escape room!
Me, my girlfriend and my best friend went to do an escape room. The HM Titanic was brilliant, we beforehand had to book but we did this in person with one of the staff members called Freya. She was wonderful. After we booked, we had an hour and half wait time. So we went for some food and drinks and came back, Freya was our host and she was very attentive with any help or queries and might I say great with her sense of humour. My final verdict for Tenpin are: 10 for staff, 10 for cleanliness, 10 for booking process, 10 for location and an absolute 10 for the escape room we smashed through.

Not enough staff to had to go get our…
Not enough staff to had to go get our drinks even tho we offered to the lane. One of the bumpers didn’t work until half way through the first game. Nut issues we’ve had before - probably needed more staff for half term- wasn’t even that busy.

Great venue just a couple issues with the lane which did get sorted but eventually we had to move lane which was annoying and lost one us a good score in their round
We will return as the venue was lovely and staff were helpful

You get what you pay for I guess
The price on a Tuesday is excellent value, but the staff seem not to care or have much urgency about doing their actual job. We were stood waiting for someone to check us in for our lane for at least 5 minutes while 4 members of staff were chatting away at the bar area. It also took almost 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive at the lane, which was almost a full game of bowling. We actively had to slow down and stop bowling to ensure we had not finished our game before the drinks came

An all rounder
Cannot fault Tenpin in Leeds. I visit often and there is always a great atmosphere. There is so much to do activity wise and plenty of options for refreshments, all of which are reasonably priced. Staff are attentive and you are seen to quickly and drinks arrive promptly when ordered via the QR code.

We weren't given a lane for 30 mins…
We weren't given a lane for 30 mins after our booking time. The staff ignored us multiple times. We ordered drinks at our lane and they never arrived We had to remind the staff that we'd made an order and we got it after we were done playing.

An Outstanding Experience at Tenpin – Perfect for Families and Groups
I recently visited Tenpin for a much-needed afternoon of entertainment, and I must say, the experience exceeded my expectations in almost every department. From the moment we walked through the doors, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, striking that perfect balance between high-energy fun and a relaxed environment where you can actually enjoy a conversation between frames.
The booking process was the first thing that impressed me. I used the mobile app to secure our lane, and it was incredibly intuitive. It allowed me to see real-time availability, choose our preferred slot, and pay in advance, which meant we could bypass the main queue at the front desk and get straight to the action. For anyone who hates waiting around, this is a massive plus.
Upon arrival, the staff were friendly and efficient. They had our shoes ready and directed us to a lane that was clean and clearly well-maintained. Unlike some other bowling alleys I’ve visited in the past, the machinery here was flawless—no stuck pins or technical glitches to interrupt our game. The scoring system is also very modern and easy to read, adding a nice competitive edge to the session.
Between games, we sampled some of the food and drinks. The menu offers a great variety of classic bowling alley fare, but the quality was much higher than the standard "fast food" expectations. The burgers were juicy, and the sharing platters were generous and fresh. The bar area is also well-stocked with a good selection of soft drinks and alcoholic options, making it a great spot to hang out even if you aren’t bowling.
Overall, Tenpin provides a fantastic, rounded experience. Whether you are bringing the kids for a birthday treat or heading out with a group of friends for some evening competition, it delivers great value for money. The cleanliness, the modern technology, and the top-tier customer service make it my go-to choice for bowling. I’ll definitely be returning soon

Staff refused to split payment
Went for our friends birthday to do some bowling. When approaching the counter to pay the member of staff said she couldn’t split our payment because it would take too long and people was behind us.. we found this quite rude as we intended to split our payment and we felt rushed because there was someone behind us. Wasn’t customer service we expected at all.

Excape room
So disappointed with the excape room and the customer service provided by the original member of staff, got refused access because no ID (even tho I am over 18 🤣🤣) but then he went and got his manager who was a lot more polite and respectful and understanding of the fact I physically don’t own ID and the fact I work full time and couldn’t just reschedule which is what the original guy was trying to force me to do, In the end got an hour worth of bowling as a substitute and offered a free game of pool after so thanks to the manager.
