Historians, Chris and Zia, are delightful. Drily funny, informative and very pleasant young men. The Shard is well worth a visit. We arrived, paid £28 for a ticket and had a great experience. The loo with a view is fascinating!!

Location :: A very good location (nearest to train station and bus stops)

Staffs :: The staffs are very nice tho I didn’t give tip because I was denied window seats even after stating it in my reservation

Food:overly priced, too small , and cold

Drinks :: very very expensive

Lightening :: very poor everywhere is dark we can barely see what we eating

Music :: no music just a place full of gist from every corner

Door staff dick head very unhelpful possible racist

Yesterday 4 of us ate at The Aqua Shard restaurant [ or tried to]. Boiled chicken in it's skin [ inedible], a cup size bowl of watery mash potatoes and under cooked broccoli. A curl of salmon as a starter and
minuscule desert plus 2 Rolo's with a bit of gold on top as it was our 50th anniversary oh and their cheapest bottle of red wine that cost £75 - my wife had the smallest glass of white wine she's ever been served [ £15] - Coffee came cold - total £380 plus discretionary £45 tip . Frankly I think the Maitre d' was just laughing at us.

Aqua shard last night was terrible,the food poor.
Very noisy you couldn't hear yourself speak.Also very dark seriously you struggled to see your food.My wife spent 30 mins with her finger in her ear.
The manager said he would take some off the bill this turned out to be the exact amount of the service charge, which I quickly told them to remove.
My advice stay away there are plenty more places in London better than this place.

Visited the AquaShard restaurant yesterday. Have to say that I was so disappointed. The food was shocking. Very poor quality - my main meal was dry, over cooked, hard, tasteless roast potatoes & chicken (Harissa Cornfed Spatchcock). Should have included mustard coleslaw but NOT on plate! The starter and dessert were below average and not justifying the meal price. If you want quality food go elsewhere!

Started queuing at the time we were told. Still had to wait for about 30 mins. Eventually were ushered straight to the top via lifts/steps then it was announced we had to leave at 4pm due to a charity event. This meant we had about 35 mins viewing time. No mention of a charity event when booking. So a meal we had planned didn’t happen. Total waste of money. Even after complaining it was a waste of time.

The oblx, had a great afternoon tea, service excellent, food good, a little overpriced, as no dress code adhere to, thought it was smart casual, not shorts trainier t shirts, some people looked like they should be in mc Donald's, no class. Please adhere to your dress codes. Before standards drop to low.

We had afternoon tea at Aqua Shard! I would recommend you save your money and go the Ritz for a bettter experience. It was almost at £600 for 6 of us. The place was run down the furniture tired and dirty and the staff appalling. The service was dire. Avoid the Shard and have better experience somewhere else.

Went with my GF ,was really looking forward to it as soon as we got to the desk were immediately pressured into buying champagne for £12 per glass however we don't really drink so politely declined the receptionist told us that's fine but said our tickets werent valid and she couldn't (wouldnt) help us to which I asked to speak to a manager who said the same only to find out by a kind American woman we only needed to download an app to convert the QR code to validate them.Possibly one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.

today and Michael Mellor was so informative and very interesting so nice and relaxing so glad we visited and the cocktails were amazing

We went here as a 60th birthday celebration. Very busy and way too loud music so I couldnt hear the other guests. Food far too expensive for what is average or even below average quality. I had the octopus - tiny pieces all over cooked. We put our cutlery down after finishing the starter to immediately be given our main course which was cold and again not worth the money. Venison portions tiny and side dishes insufficient quantity and cold. Jorge was our waiter and one guest ordered mint tea. We had to remind him a further 2 times before he brought peppermint tea and so we had to change that. We were sat as far away from the window as possible so didnt have the lovely views everyone writes about. When the bill came they had added £120 service charge - what a joke. That rate def doesnt go to the staff!

I've been recently at Aqua and an old sommelier man dropped a bottle of wine on our shoes, never apologised, and could not speak English. I find it very negligent of the sommelier team to hire such people and remind them that to get a customer-facing job the applicant must have a UK GCSE or IELTS with a 7.5 score. The receptionist Jasmine told us his name is Salvatore Scalas, try to avoid him if you have to visit this venue as he is a disaster serving and stinks of mould asparagus. Rose W.

We waited 55 minutes and nobody served us. The afternoon Tea was disgusting Our table was disgusting. Dirty was not clean lots of food breadcrumbs on the table When I complain for the service The arrogant RUDE manager told me we are busy There is nothing I can do and he laughed at me Stay away from this place is completely ripped off. They do not have any manners or Customer Service skill at all. MacDonald is 100% better than this disgusting place. It’s a very shame and sad place to go. The view is brilliant but unfortunately the service is third class rip off our sandwiches was extremely soggy disgusting scone was very cold hard like a stone when I complain The rude manager laughed at us again and he told us that’s what it is What’s in your table. We waited 55 minutes to get served. I have to get up three times for service. This place is Worse than street food of philippine in advance near the window and they refuse to give us. They were a few empty tables we are Asian maybe because of the colour it sounds like it was racist. They totally ignored us and they were too busy serving other British people. Shame on them shame shame shame. Disgusting🤮🤮

husband ,and grandson for his birthday Never again it’s a rip off it’s so dark !! in there you can’t see the menu or what you are eating you had to use your phone torch to see anything on the menu the food was rubbish and the portions would not feed a mouse only three of us had a starter my grandson had four small rolls with butter and that was £12.00 my starter was cured mackerel which I left and the waiter knocked it of the bill without me saying anything my daughter had Burrata cheese my husband didn’t have one he was still in shock for paying £9:50 for 1/2 of pint of pale ale my husband had what was lamb loin which cost £49.00 he use to be a butcher and swears it was a fillet me and my grandson had the beef fillet £59.00 each which was tough as old boots and we both had it cooked differently my daughter had the butter lobster £58.00 that was a pasta dish we both had a glass of wine with a couple of mouthfuls each that was £32 for the two and we had three desserts which was fine the view is lovely what you can see of it they tend to put tables with couples close to the windows two people don’t spend as much as four so very unfair the staff where very good especially are waiter can’t remember what his name was but he is wasted working in the Aqua shard he could do so much better I no it’s not mcDonalds but for the money we spent I expected better food our bill was 424.99 the food was £369.50 the rest was service charge which I didn’t notice till we paid save your money and go somewhere else

View is lovely, food and service terrible! The atmosphere was cold, the lighting was so dim it was hard to see the terrible food, which is way over priced. I ordered a rare steak that came medium. I told the server, even showed him using the torch on my phone. He took it away and a manager came over and said it was rare and they would cook the next one, blue. I said no, I want a rare steak not blue. My partner then realised he had my rare steak, the server had switched them, rookie mistake in a high end restaurant. Then to rub salt in the wound they placed a blue steak in front of me.

Wow just wow JUSTO our waiter was amazing, attentive and knew the food .

From sitting in the best seat to the atmosphere food service was amazing

It was an amazing experience and I have been to many restaurants but this is my number 1

Totally agree about the "dress code". Majority of people in very casual attire. The views are amazing but the food and drink prices for this "experience" are astronomic. Cajoled into buying champagne by the glass which works out at about 6 times the retail price. £52 for a miniscule portion of what was supposed to be Dover sole with inedible broad beans and girolles and no monksbeard as per the menu.
What a rip off.

If you like a sub standard afternoon tea then this is the place for you.The website for the Shard says that there is a dress code and smart casual is acceptable. However the vast majority of people were wearing jeans, t shirts and some were in shorts and even ripped jeans and baseball caps. If anyone from the Shard reads this then please remove the dress code requirement from your description as it just isn't true. I mentioned this to the server at the time who just shrugged.
Service was ok and food passable but of the same standard as a motorway service station.
Please visit the Ritz and see how afternoon. tea is done and for only 10 pounds more.

Save your money - you pay £70 for a “brunch” that gave you a piece of belly pork the size of a slice of cake and not a single other thing on your plate. Charged for water that they push for you to have and was declined. Having to chase up 3 times a round of drinks - go anywhere else for better service than that they put 15% on the bill for!! Views are amazing though and surroundings nice but £500 for what should cost £60 - not worth the money!!
