The Appliance Depot was founded in 2008 by a dedicated team who have over 33 years of experience within the industry. We have seen welcome and unexpected growth over the years and are now operating from two different sites within Leicestershire, with a total warehouse capacity of over 35,000 square foot, holding over 5,000 products for sale. We sell products from some of the most recognised and loved brands, including, but not limited to: Neff, Bosch, Siemens and Smeg. We specialise in selling graded products bought directly from the manufacturers themselves. These products may not come in the original packaging, they may be ex-display, damaged, end of the line or cosmetically imperfect. However, we pride ourselves on being honest and transparent with our customers, and you can find an explanation on each listing of why that item is graded. From the moment we answer the phone or respond to your email, you are at the heart of what we do. We strive to answer all queries and provide as much information to the customer as possible, in order for them to make a well-informed decision. Our dedicated team pride themselves on providing an exceptional level of customer service, from answering queries, to showing people around the warehouse, and going above and beyond when delivering.

Rubbish
I bought a Bosch fridge from these people in July. It had a few dents and we decided we could live with them. The fridge took 2 weeks to deliver which was fine. Our kitchen was not quite ready for it so we carefully stored the fridge in a brand new garage. Its summer so no extreme temperatures etc. It was there one week. We carefully moved it into our kitchen and left if for a couple of days to settle. Turned it on and found it doesnt work. The fridge part cools but only to about 15 degrees. The freezer part doesnt work at all. When i called the person on the phone was rather rude and unhelpful. She said we shouldnt have left it in the garage for so long! Its ridiculous to argue that that has affected the fridge. She then said i have to deal with Bosch. Bosch are keeping me waiting more than a week to come and repair. In theory i am entitled to a new fridge because its within one month. But Bosch say that is only through the retailer and this lot certainly wont help. I m so angry. We should have paid the extra couple of hundred quid and bought it through a reputable retailer. Avoid this lot like the plague

Was initially a little concerned buying a graded appliance, but took the plunge and purchased NEFF double oven after speaking to a very helpful lady from the depot. No need for my worries as the oven I received was in perfect condition. Very pleased with the whole service I received from Appliance Depot, helpful staff, delivery spot on. Would definetly recommend.

The apparently unused oven
The apparently unused oven we purchased, but it had been used as a demonstration or shop window model . The legs on which stood were bent and there was broken glass granules within it indicating presumably that it had been dropped in some handling misadventure. When we complained we were tole that we could arrange and send it back within a day or two but we would have to arrange and pay for that. This is in direct contravention of the Consumer Rights act, so if anyone else experiences this same problem in future, do not hesitate to tell the directors of the Appliance depot that they are wrong. Anybody purchasing their products at some admittedly knock down prices, should be very wary of dealing with this company.

I would give 5 for the product as for an ex display can't fault, although an instruction manual would have been helpful!
Customer service, though, is shocking! I received a call day before firm a woman who very cold and abruptly told me I would be first and to make I was ready for 6 am - 6.30. Next morning up 5.30 ready for 6am delivery arrives at 7.45! No explanation!

Our apologies that you have not had the most satisfactory experience with our company.
As we sell predominantly graded appliances, a lot of our product do not come with manuals as they are not provided with them when delivered to us from the manufacturer.
We ensure to give our customers a warning of the time of their delivery the day before it is due as we do have to start early in the morning due to coming from Leicester.
Late arrival could be down to anything from traffic, late leaving, there isn't a way we can fully explain this or find out as to why but we do apologise that this was not warned prior to your delivery.
Definitely worth every penny.
This company are a 100%with customer service and support. Excellent delivery service and driver. I can’t thank you enough.
The product a tumble dryer works great and more economical than I expected. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

I am giving this a 2 star due to the audacity of the email and messaging I receive from customer services. I was in an interview and they rang me 4 times and send me the rudest of emails threatening to charge me £50.00 if I did not reply to them in 15 mins!!!
Rude much!
I had left a note on the door and phoned them I would not be in!

We do apologise that you're experience with us was not a great one, all of our standard delivery emails do state that failed deliveries do incur a re-delivery charge of £50, this is also stated when we send you your first delivery confirmation email as well.
We also do apologise that your note was ignored.
Value for money
Bought a Bosch Hob, described as Grade B, arrived in good tme, not in its origonal packaging, but well packed and complete. I can find no damage on the item whatsoever, so all in all a great purchase at a very good price. Would shop here again.

Scammers. They changed me 80£ and for cancelling the order after my delivery was changed many times and did not need the item anymore

We always ask for at least 48 hours notice when cancelling an order as these get packed onto our vans the day before deliveries are due.
As our terms and conditions state "If we have arranged for a product to be delivered and there is no one at the address to accept and sign for it, you are responsible for paying a failed delivery fee. If there are other reasons as to why the delivery cannot occur, such as it not fitting through the door, or the wrong item has been ordered, you will again be liable for paying a failed delivery fee. Failed delivery charges are £50 and at the discretion of the manager."
Because you wished to cancel your order when our driver was 20 minutes away from your property to deliver your item, this was classed as a failed delivery.
As the driver had already left the depot with your item and was on route to your property at the time of cancellation, the delivery fee was non refundable.
We apologise you don't feel you had a satisfactory experience with The Appliance Depot.

We're sorry to hear you weren't happy with how your oven was delivered to your property.
As we sell predominantly graded appliances that come delivered to us with box damage or no packaging at all, we have to re-package them ourselves to make them suitable for delivery.
Apologies the packaging was not up to the standard, we take comments like these very seriously and this will be passed over to management!

I paid £75 for delivery of a fridge freezer,I had to take the day off work,I got a call from the cowboy transport company( that the appliance depot use)saying they had no pallets to deliver the fridge freezer on and they would deliver it the next day so that was another day off work.
This fridge freezer ended up costing me dear no compensation from Appliance Depot,Definitely wouldn't use this mob ever again!
Should've stuck to AO.COM no delivery fee and delivers when they say.

When we book your delivery in with them, we give them an exact date to deliver your appliance and this is when we also expect this delivery to take place.
