Brilliant service from Dan, James and the team in Yate. Beautiful Kardean small heron bone dark oak floor throughout the ground floor and a quality grey carpet for the stairs and bedrooms to compliment it. Excellent, very hard working fitters. Make the trip to visit their showroom and get a quote before you make your decision. Well worth the trip.

Needed replacement of Bathroom flooring using vinyl . Purchase made from Yate branch and dealt with David who was most professional and efficient . Purchase made and fitted by John some three days later . John was both friendly and helpful and did a very good job with which I was very very pleased . Both of these employees are indeed a credit to the Company . Thanks

Carpet Giant in Yate fitted my Lounge and bedroom carpets and a laminate floor in hallway just over a year ago.

Just asked them back to do my kitchen and bathroom laminate flooring : and if possible match my hallway floor.
Dan, as always, was really helpful in making sure they had what I needed, and fitting me in to suit : so lucky they managed to match the hallway, looks seamless.

The fitters have been and gone and, as before, I am blown away by the quality and fit for such a reasonable price.
The fitters worked non stop and were meticulous to detail and in clearing up afterwards.

Fitted a carpet on the stairs.

Staff are rude and unbothered at the store and over the phone. On the pre-fit, we were not advised about the sub floor after raising this as an issue and was advised the thick underlay (Premium) would be adequate despite the sub floor being uneven in places. We are not experts in carpets and so trusted them. Now they are say this is our word against theirs. Terrible service. The carpet alone

Went there to pickup a sample for my sons bedroom from a Jeremy
Quoted £120 I then sent my son to pick it up after I emailed to confirm and he went there
Jeremy said it was now £150
No explanation why
My son was upset and I rung several times but no answer
So I emailed Jeremy asking to explain why he done this and he ignored me
So I went back there and went to carpet right opposite
And bought the carpet there and what a fantastic service I had from email

A great place to get your carpet from.
We have ordered and paid for our vinyl carpet, it was delivered and fitted no problem. As soon as I run a Hoover over it I have noticed some piles are longer then the others and they are easily pulled out.
I have contacted the Carpet Giant, their area manager Sean came around, he then reported the issue to the manufacturer who asked for an independent review. The manufacturer then admitted the fault and the carpet has been replaced.
If it wasn’t for COVID-19 outbrake it would all happened much quicker, but I still can’t say anything bad about the Carpet Giant as they have been outstanding in their customer service and their work.

I visited Carpet Giant, in Croydon on 9/02/2020. Im really disappointed with the experience, but decided to go ahead as wanted carpet for my newly bought house. I bought the most expensive carpet in store £39.99 per square meter + most expensive underlay £8.99 with other bits i needed in store for stairs, waited a week to be fitted as the carpet had to be ordered - the fitter attended and gave excellent service and advise, the carpet wouldn't look good as the turn on the stair- To which i had told the sale person at Carpet Giant, Croydon i have 4 turns, to which he replied its fine the fitter will sort it. I paid £355.00 + £45 for fitting for 12 steps!!!...after speaking to croydon manager Luke on 14/02/2020 that i would have to pay extra £160.00 to match the pattern, Very annoyed and i feel like the lack of service from the sales person I would have to be be penalised and pay extra, weak response from croydon store manager apparently its no ones fault, but i have to pay extra £160.00!!! making total of £515.00 for 12 steps!!! -I feel I was miss sold by lazy sales person - who didn't even seemed bothered to be serve me - seemed like he was after his commission only - now i have to wait for outcome....

I had several quotes to carpet my whole house and I must admit, was particularly fussy and annoying about what I wanted.

This firm were patient and listened to all my needs, and brought samples as per my suggestions. They were very clear on timings and didn’t set unreal expectations. I knew I had to wait for the carpet I wanted.

Eventually they returned and laid my carpet, it was amazing. The workmen were timely, polite and turned up on time.

The took all their mess and the house was left immaculate. Def recommend.
