I ordered a birthday surprise for my sister through @thegiftex while I was abroad, and I honestly had a great experience.

The whole process was very smooth, and their team was really responsive and helpful when I had questions. Everything was delivered on time, and the setup looked exactly like what I expected.

Most importantly, my sister was genuinely surprised and so happy with everything. It made her birthday really special even though I couldn’t be there in person.

Terrible experience. The delivery was late, the food (pizza and fruit) was poor quality/rotten, and they missed all the personalized details like the cake message and card. They also overcharged me for items and refused to pick up the phone after they took my money. Do not recommend for special occasions

I usually use a different vendor each year, but this year I thought I’d give this vendor a try since the photos and variety of gifts seemed really nice and to my taste. They responded so quick and while setting up the transaction because I had to do the bank transfer, they were extremely patient! I appreciate these people for being patient and respectful. Very disappointing experience with Giftex.
I placed a customised birthday cake order on 10th February for delivery on 16th February after confirming availability. I paid Rs 15,100 for a premium acrylic display box setup as shown on their website. However, what was delivered looked completely different. Instead of placing the cake directly inside the transparent display box as advertised, the cake was left inside its original cardboard bakery box and that entire box was placed inside the acrylic case. It looked unfinished and unprofessional. The flowers shown in the product image were also missing.
I also arranged and paid Rs 11,500 for a Junaid Jamshed perfume gift set that was supposed to be delivered along with the cake. The morning after delivery, I was informed that the perfume was out of stock. If the item was confirmed and paid for days earlier, it should have been secured immediately. This caused unnecessary stress on an important occasion.
Since the birthday was already taking place, I had no choice but to select another gift. Even though the replacement was priced lower, I was asked to pay an additional Rs 2,000 to maintain their profit margin. Given that this issue arose from their own mismanagement and delayed communication, this was extremely disappointing.
When charging premium prices, customers expect professionalism, coordination and reliability. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet expectations.

Found this page randomly, they have much better prices than other websites. Service is top notch. Plenty of products to chose from. Everything is 10/10. Would absolutely use this website again.
