If you can, get a pro to do this job
It's a messy and uncomfortable job that even a competent DIY-er like myself decided was better left to the professionals.
Owen & Ben were clean, tidy & polite and managed not to melt everywhere completing the loft in yet another heat wave. Quality job.
Wife happy, I'm happy. Money well spent and done in a fraction of the time it would have taken me. Recommended.

Loft boarding
The Loft Boys boarded our loft, and fitted lighting and a loft ladder. The whole experience was a pleasure. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. When the job was completed there was no mess at all. The installation team cleaned up and took away all packaging. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Loft Boys to anyone thinking of having their loft boarded.

Excellent service from start to finish
Excellent service from start to finish. From my first enquiry through to the completed installation, the whole experience was first class. Installers Mason, Conor, Matt and Luke and Loft Boys owner, Dean, were all courteous, professional and clearly took pride in their work. The office staff were also extremely efficient throughout.
The installation was completed to a very high standard, and I was delighted to discover I had considerably more usable loft storage than I’d expected. I also had a couple of questions about ventilation after the work was finished, and the team were happy to provide reassurance. It’s refreshing to deal with a company that combines quality workmanship with excellent customer service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Great service but expensive
Surveyor was absolutely wonderful. He did such a great job while he was at my property. I think he is an excellent asset to your company.
Even though the quote had mistakes on it, in the end, I’ve got the corrected quote without missing items.

Due to my loft, it’s very difficult to have a lot of space…. Therefore, I’m pretty much forced to have the smallest most basic package with the cheapest lowest quality ladder.
The only thing Premium I chose was the Electrician lighting instead of battery operated lighting.
The bill for one of the most smallest most basic packages is £1997. This is after a discount of £411.
Please remember this is one of the absolute smallest packages at 15m2.
I’m giving this a low star rating because I was clear that the storage was simply for some boxes and the Christmas tree and nothing much else to which the bill is not too far off £2000
How can ordinary people afford this
I completely understand that if I was going to have an office an entire walk around zones in the loft I understand that you would pay a lot of money for that but for simply housing a Christmas tree and a couple of boxes £2000 is crazy

Thank you for your feedback, Ryan, and for your kind comments about our surveyor. We’re really pleased to hear that he was helpful and represented our company so well.
We’re sorry that the original quotation contained errors, although we’re glad these were corrected and all the required items were included in the revised version.
We completely understand that the overall price came as a surprise. Our quotations are based on the materials, labour and work required to create a safe, properly installed loft storage area, rather than the number or value of the items that will eventually be stored there. Even for a smaller area, many of the core installation requirements remain the same.
We appreciate that our quotation wasn’t the right fit for your budget, but we’re grateful for the opportunity to visit your home and provide our recommendations. We wish you all the best with your loft project.

We are so pleased we chose the Loftboys…
We are so pleased we chose the Loftboys for our loft makeover. From first contact we were impressed with the admin. Calls answered promptly, queries answered straight away, all documentation sent out in good order. What was really impressive though was how we were supported through a very difficult time. There was so much slippage to our own build programme that we had to change the Loftboys start date a number of times. We also had to change the specification, but they came back with the new quote very quickly. Nothing was too much trouble and I’m happy to say that we had our loft installation completed on 17 July. So pleased with the result. We had new insulation, cross braces and boarding, new lighting, new hatch and ladder. All the staff we encountered over the phone or on site were lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Loft boarding and hobby room creation.
Loft boarding and hobby room creation.
I had the loft boys in over a couple of weeks to completely clear out my loft, insulate and board it, then build out a hobby room (home office) including rafter insulation, window, and ply lining. Finally they built out some cupboards/storage space that's closed off from the now workspace, and installed a new ladder.
The process and company in general were brilliant from start to finish. The quoting and spec was clear, they booked in a slot and a few weeks later and the guys arrived as agreed.
The team who came were massively respectful of our home and worked hard - and in some pretty uncomfortable heat - to get the job finished on time. The standard of the work is to a high quality and I've gone from a dingy and never used loft to one which I can work from. Cannot recommend highly enough!
