4th of July Hunt for the right Guitar.

After a long search. I found the guitar I was looking for at The North American Guitar Company. Kim impressed me from the moment she popped up and asked if she could help with anything while i was searching her inventory on line. I asked if she was open the 4th of July because I was coming from St. Louis and only had the weekend to shop. She said she wasn't but would be happy to open for me. No one else offered that kind of service.

She was the last stop on my list of appointments, but I wasn't going to make a decision until I saw what North American had to offer. This is because she was so helpful and sincere with me in our conversation on line.

While all the stores I shopped in Nashville were helpful and informative, I felt North American was genuine in wanting to fit the right guitar for my needs.

Kim met me at the designated time and had several guitars to look at. She was accessing my playing style and finding guitars to show me that would be a good fit.
Then she handed me a Collings C100. I fell in love with it within 30 seconds of playing it.
I'm so glad I waited until my last stop.
I highly recommend adding North American to your search for the right guitar for you.

I think it’s insane to be selling guitars at these prices when we have an epidemic in the whole country and not that many people are working. to sell guitars for $7000 or $8000 it’s just insane I don’t care how good the guitar is.

Not only do they have the best selection of the most beautiful and unique guitars, but the after-service is 100%. Bought a stunning Spalt totem guitar (G1907) at the beginning of the year and upon changing the strings I came up against a problem. Ben immediately arranged for the guitar to be collected, transported back, fixed the problem and transported the guitar back to me. Five stars aren’t enough!!

I was in the market for a capo and came across Elliot Capos based in Texas.

I discovered they are stocked by North American Guitar in London and after a long and helpful chat with a guy in their Nashville branch I took the plunge and bought one.

I've got to say that £175 for a capo seemed expensive, but I needn't have worried: It has just arrived and it is fantastic. It's beautifully engineered, it holds the strings in tune regardless of placement and it is an absolute joy to use.

North American Guitar could not have been more helpful. First class service.

I ordered a book on-line at the weekend and on the Monday I had an email from John Stubbings, the author, publisher, dispatcher saying that Ben from North American Guitar had forwarded the order and would I like a special dedication in the book. It was delivered in 2 days despite being in lockdown and is a beautiful book. A really pleasurable purchasing experience and am now looking forward to visiting the showroom when possible.

Ben and the TNAG team have looked after me really well.

Most recently I secured a Bown OMX that I had played at the showroom last xmas.

I had also been longing for a guitar by Ed Claxton but they come up very rarely. Ben had one in Nashville but I just missed out on it. But clearly it was meant to be as the buyer had to return the guitar so I didn't hesitate.

My eighth instrument from TNAG so I suppose you could say I have an extreme case of GAS.
