Rip off merchants. Purchased a toilet seat they recommended and it didn't fit. Charged us £19 when returned the product in under an hour. Also got shouted at down the phone by the sales person. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!
Mark Davies Llansamlet branch was extremely helpful today and deserves recognition, the alternative would be to fob me off like a staff member did earlier at the Bridgend branch. I was desperately trying to arrange delivery of bathroom furnishings from the Bridgend depot. The Cross Hands branch where I purchased the goods from was closed so I rang the Bridgend branch to be fobbed off, I was told they couldn’t help and to ring the Llansamlet branch. Mark listened and assured me he’d make enquiries and get back to me and true to his word he not only got back to me to confirm he’d made progress but gave me a follow up call to confirm delivery of my goods on Thursday. Fantastic customer service, Mark is an asset to your company and should serve as a role model to his peers.
Following on from really helpful information ion original enquiry, I proceeded with “Click & Collect” from Llansamlet. Thereafter the experience got about as bad as possible leaving me both disappointed and completely disgusted by poor customer service which included "Kevin" (the same person who took the original order which records his name as "Mark") becoming abusive before calling the police to have me removed from the store when I asked to speak to someone more senior in an attempt to resolve the fact that he was refusing to hand over the paid for goods, despite having agreed a couple of hours earlier that if we arrived at the agreed time of 5pm (we were there at 5 minutes to) the order would be ready for us. He also claimed he was the only member of staff in the store and couldn't leave the shop floor (but 2 other staff members appeared when he started yelling at us).
Furthermore, he somewhat spitefully attempted to cause trouble by reporting to the police that I'd crossed county lines in lockdown (to collect the order), despite me having asked the question earlier in the day on whether that was acceptable (as we knew the delivery was also crossing the boundary and didn't know if it would cause a problem for the company and/or if the shop would be open given that they had just gone into lockdown) and being assured it was fine.
Whilst we were both masked and gloved; he removed his mask several times and failed to maintain an appropriate distance whilst shouting at us which meant I had to ask my mother to step back from him several times to protect her.
He refused to return my paperwork, with the order number that recorded details of the sale, until I phoned another store in the chain with whom we've dealt previously (spoke to Sam) and requested his assistance to resolve the issue (whilst sitting on the floor of the shop awaiting police attendance to remove me). I believe this was an attempt to disguise the fact that he'd lied about who he was and wanted to prevent me leaving a poor feedback or making an official complaint to the company concerned.
The situation left my recently widowed mother seriously distressed and me incredibly angry. She was widowed during lockdown and had been in isolation for several months until my visit to collect her in order that she could "bubble" with me in a different part of the country. My travel was entirely compliant with the restrictions in force at the time.
Furthermore, a formal complaint to the customer service team was read by several recipients (yes, I put a read receipt on the email) at the company but none of them bothered to respond!!!
I would not touch this company with a barge-pole in future!
As a company director myself, I'd be appalled if anyone in my organisation treated any customer in this way, but the fact that the abuse was targeted at one middle aged and one elderly female customer who had previously explained the personal circumstances around the urgency for the tiles (we were travelling back to my home the following day) makes the outcome even more disgusting especially as we were not making unreasonable requests, but only asking for what had been agreed earlier that week and confirmed a few hours before we arrived at the store.
As an aside, I got very similar tiles (quality, size and design) from another company at very short notice for 2/3 the price!
Bought adhesive had discount thanks only problem is price shown b4 discount on receipt is twice what price online actually is so discounts are not what they tell you. Just be honest with pricing

Beware of using this company! On 6/7/20 We spent over £4,000 there on bathroom vanity unit, WC, Shower, wall panels etc. We were told All items would be delivered on Thursday 9th and not next day as before ordering it was offered, however, when the delivery arrived there was NO sink taps, NO shower doors, NO Radiator, No LED Mirror and No two of the three mirror cabinets were not delivered either and we were told that they would arrive the following week? And they also ordered and delivered the wrong shower panel? They said they would sort it out? I telephoned on Thursday morning the 16th to ask what time is my delivery and was told it was on the van and would be with me in the afternoon, 4.30 p.m. I phoned again and asked for the delivery drivers’ number I was then told that my delivery is not today but tomorrow at this point the air was blue with lie after lie being told to me.
Friday 17th finally my delivery has arrived minus sink taps and two mirror cabinets, back on the phone I was told taps were there and it was the driver’s fault for not picking them up? so my husband went to collect them himself and guess what WRONG Taps? I was then told they would get express delivery for next day, Saturday came and went and so did Sunday still no taps, so I told them to cancel and bought them elsewhere at a fraction of the price.
And guess what the shower panel was still the wrong one after they assured me it was the correct one, after cutting it to try and make it fit that has now been binned at my cost.
My Husband has been twice for a refund for the wrong tapes but they can not give a refund as the machine is down and we were told not to keep calling in, they will tell us when the machine is working.
Today 30th I still have not received my mirror cabinets so I have cancelled AND finally got my refund except I have to wait 3-5 days for it to reach my account?
Then there are the damages and out of date stock (nothing was done about that either)
Also, be aware of the small print there is a 25% restocking charge on items cancelled and you have to check your order on delivery as they will not accept any responsibility for damages
(Staff are very friendly and plausible but your issues are still not sorted)

I asked why couldn’t they arrange delivery to Swansea branch, I was told ‘if you didn’t know there’s a global pandemic’ yet they were happy to encourage me to break government guidelines and travel to Crosshands! The guy with the glasses was helpful enough. However the ‘chav’ was rather rude, on a previous visit he was more interested in finishing his lunch than helping customers! Clearly Tile & Bath Co have already made cutbacks by employing an irritable chav! £700 loss was another companies gain, well done 👍
I recommend tile and bathco, very helpful and a nice choice of tiles.
I would never ever use this company ever agsin. The service is awful i am still waiting gor my order 11 days after plaving it. I have e mailed many many times and had a reply from Dunlop. I promptly replied asking when i could pick up my order. Still waiting for a reply.?????
After having picked up my order i realized that there was fault on both parties and during these exceptional times nobody was to blame.

Fantastic service. Went out of there way to help, even in lock down. I was half way through a project and ran out of adhesive. I emailed to see if They could help.
They called me back and agreed they would stay open until I got there. Highly recommend the staff at bridgend main depot 5* 👍
