From our very first enquiry regarding a deep clean of our hallway tiles, Steve made everything very easy. He was thoroughly professional, attentive to detail and carried out a great job. He has revived our tired tiles and also offered great tips regarding after care. Absolutely recommend!

Fantastic job, took a pride in their work - wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chris and Zak, not only did they beautifully restore our Victorian hallway, they recreated a perfect match in a small lobby area where the old tiles were completely missing. The transition sections into 5 doorways which were missing were also perfectly matched to the original. We are absolutely delighted with the job it looks fabulous.

Recently, I ordered three products from Tile Doctor (a pre-treatment spray, grout colorant, and some tools to get the job done). The website specifies that any order placed before 1 p.m. will be delivered the next working day. Two weeks later, none of the products had arrived. Furthermore, Tile Doctor never sent an order confirmation.
I contacted their customer service via email on two occasions and asked when the order would be delivered, unfortunately, I haven’t received any reply. As a result, I tried a product from another company—Smartseal. Their product, called Grout Magic, was sent promptly and did a great job. Thanks to PayPal, I also received a full refund from Tile Doctor on the same day I made a claim.

Our kitchen floor was in a seriously bad way and we didn’t know where to begin to sort it out. After Barry’s work, it looks fantastic - the difference is unbelievable and the tiles and grout look beautiful. In fact, it looks like a brand new floor. Barry’s tiling experience definitely helped with what wasn’t a run-of-the-mill problem to solve.

Barry and his team were really helpful throughout the process. They dealt with our many questions about the tiles and offered gentle suggestions. They were very good at taking care of the house/carpet as they moved equipment around and we appreciated their help with clearing the kitchen. When the work showed there was another issue that needed to be sorted out (which explained a lot), Barry pulled out the stops so it could be done as one job, although I think this made his Christmas week busier than it should have been. We also really appreciated the work being completed before Christmas and this flexibility from Barry and his team. Customer service from head office was also good.

Tom came to remove some mastic from our porcelain tiles after a glass room installation. He was absolutely brilliant! Went over and above what we expected him to do and came to sort it out very quickly for us before Christmas. Can't recommend him enough!

First class contract from ordering to delivery as always

Steve was very good at communicating and Tile Doctor as a company were also very good at letting me know what was happening. We had spilled red wine on our Portuguese limestone fireplace. So it was a large area with splashes too. Steve was brilliant and cleaned the whole fireplace and then sealed it for us. It looks as good as new now. Don’t be put off by the quote - it can seem a little expensive but get what you pay for - quality job and my fireplace was in safe hands. Thank you Steve - I have already recommended you to a friend.

The guy that did the work was very professional, got on with the job and was very tidy. He kept me up to date at all times with the appointment. The floor looked great after he’d finished with the tiles looking so much brighter and the colours standing out. It was definitely worth doing although I did think the cost was a bit pricey.

For personal reasons this review is some 6 months late. However, our experience of using Tile Doctor is well worth sharing.

If we could give 6 stars we would. From start to finish it was impossible to find fault. Our shower developed some black staining on the floor shortly after it was installed. For several years we tried various off the shelf products to no avail. In desperation we decided we needed specialist help and googled Tile Doctor.

We sent photographs of the shower by email and by return were put in contact with Tom, our local man. He diagnosed the problem and recommended a solution with the caveat that it may not work. With nothing to lose we agreed to try it and arranged a date for Tom to do the work.

On the day he again advised us that it might not be 100% successful but after his efforts we ended witha shower as good as when it was installed. And 6 months later it is still as good.

We would also add that Tom was one of those people that you wish all your workmen were like. He was with us for most of the day and repeatedly going in and out of the house. He just got on with the job, got his head down and we hardly knew he was there.

We would unreservedly recommend Tile Doctor
