Customer service from Yana (in advance) and Pete (on the day) was excellent. The two guys who moved me from my top floor loft conversion flat and into a ground floor place were incredible. They dismantled and reassembled a sofa frame and bed frame speedily and carefully too. Really efficient, friendly and polite. 100% would recommend.

Fantastic service! We chose Top Removal because they were the cheapest but were extremely satisfied with the high quality of the service. The movers were very efficient and went above and beyond our expectations.

Moved from the UK to Switzerland in early 2021 and we had to change the move date on a number of occasions due to COVID travel restrctions. Top Removals were flexible enabling us to alter dates on a number of occasions. Good were delivered on time and driver was very helpful to ensure order was complete.

We booked a 3 man team.They turned up early and worked non stop until the job was done. They were very careful in packing items and followed directions. The boxes were clearly labelled and delivered to the correct rooms at the other end. The team were polite and friendly. Recently moved from London to the Midlands and Top Removals did an excellent job - efficient, careful and speedy, and all for a fair price. All of our possessions made it to our destination in one piece and in good time, including those that had to be dismantled and reassembled. Would have no hesitation using Top Removals again or recommending them to a friend.

My partner used Top Removals both for moving his furniture and belongings from his London flat out to our house outside London, and also for storing everything in the two years plus interim period between the moves. The initial removal went smoothly, and although the period of storage lasted longer than we'd originally anticipated, the storage rates were fair and any dealings with the office were courteous. So far so good. However, when the time came for my partner's property to be brought down to our new house, we were extremely disappointed and upset to be told that one of the boxes, containing valuable items, had 'gone missing'. The company disclaimed all responsibilty for the loss, although it could only have happened on their premises. Their 'insurance' was valid only for packing done by themselves (we had packed the boxes) and a paltry £40 would have been all that was potentially available as compensation. The manager offered a larger sum as a 'goodwill gesture', but it was no compensation for the 'lost' belongings, which were irreplaceable. Moral of the story? Ensure that everything placed in storage is detailed and signed for, by the company, together with its value, down to the last object. And in addition to the missing property, a number of items of furniture suffered minor damage and box contents had clearly been handled unprofessionally as things were broken. We felt that ultimately the company hadn't taken due care of my partner's property, despite having been paid a considerable amount of money to do so. Three stars is generous in view of the sense of being let down we were left with.

My recent move from Geneva, Switzerland to London went without a hitch, thanks to the efficient organisation by Pete at Top Removals from start to finish and the hard work and speed of the removal men. Despite extra precautions imposed on drivers on account of the Covid pandemic and potential post-Brexit delays at customs, my household goods and furniture were picked up on a Wednesday morning and already in London by Friday lunchtime. I wish to thank Pete for his infinite patience dealing with my many questions, and his efficiency and optimism throughout the many months leading up to the move and throughout the move itself. I would highly recommend Top Removals.

Couldn't fault the team who showed up to do my move. Professional, hard working and careful.

The quote and charge: The quote was for 2-days (pack one day, move the next) and for 74 boxes for a 1-bed flat. I queried the number of boxes as my flat was mostly empty already with a lot of furniture and all books in storage. I was told that the quote wouldn't be lowered.

AFTER I accepted the quote and paid 50% deposit, Top Removals changed it to a 1-day job (pack and move the same day). On the day, they used a total of 36 boxes plus 4 garment boxes.

There was no change to the overall price I paid.

So I probably would use them again, since their team was great. However, I feel I paid at least 1/3 more than I should have -- with the team there for one day (not two) and using slightly more than 1/2 the number of boxes quoted.

In future I would fight tooth and nail to
-- (a) insist on reviewing the quote if there is a change to the number of days after acceptance
AND
-- (b) insist on a refund/pricing review if the estimated number of boxes is not used.

I've had a truly fantastic experience with these guys. Super quick, efficient, helpful, pleasant and tailored customer service pre-moving day. On the day, folks turned up spot on time, were a delight to deal with and ensured a mega smooth move experience in between a couple of London Boroughs. No stress experience! And all in lockdown! In December 2020, having decided to leave England and return to France, I decided to let Top Removals take charge of packing and transporting my goods to my new address.
It turned out to be an inspired decision as I found them, from the start, to be very friendly, patient, efficient, offering good value for money, trustworthy, and with a good sense of humour.
Dealing with them was a pleasure, even through the difficulties brought by covid 19 and Brexit. Special mention must to Palmyra and Pete who were always very pleasant, effective and good humoured throughout.
The whole thing, from packing to delivery, was made easy and stress free by a very professional team.
I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending their services.
