UK Alternative Energy have installed our solar panels, heat pump (including replacement of the microbore pipework) and Tesla battery. They have always been clear and efficient on costs and timing and the installations are neat and tidy. They have also carried out installations for friends and family which are equally good. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Had a couple of hiccups at the start but the power wall that was fitted by Tom was a very professional job clean site after job finished I have used them before and would recommend them if you want solar panels or a home battery alternative energy would be my first choice.

UKAE installed a Tesla Powerwall battery for me having previously installed a solar system in 2022. The whole process was very smooth and the quality of work during the fitting of the battery was excellent with considerable attention to detail. The end result looks great. I have no hesitation in recommending UKAE very highly.

We first worked with Derrick and UKAE 7 years ago on a small commercial PV project at our business and everything was great, so when I wanted a larger, more complex system at another business it was them again we went to and haven’t been disappointed. We had loads of pre install support to be able to access grant funding and the professional approach of Derrick and his team was consistent throughout. Our latest install comprises of multiple panel placements across our site with multiple battery back up and hot water diverters and although it’s only been a few weeks since the works was completed we’re really happy and can see the benefits. Highly recommend UK Alternative Energy, you won’t find a better service or quality install and support.

The staff at UK Alternative Energy put the customer first, even if they can’t get out to you straight away they do everything they can to try and resolve the issue over the phone/text/video call. It doesn’t matter who you get through to you really do feel that they want to help. I have used them for Air Source Heat Pump servicing and when something has gone wrong and always a first class service.

Great team -- highly competent and very friendly ; whole job took an amazing 6.5 hours -- 8 in the team, all working together from ground works to electrical specialists.

Great to deal with ; clear quotes/work spec. Had to wait a while for installation, but it was worth it.
The installation team were lovely guys and very competent; even the digger didn't destroy the garden due to the pads aid. Framework, panels, storage battery et al took only 6.5hours -- five vans and a team of 8 worked hard and diligently. Great outfit.

All very good experience for us from start to finish. Lee (sales) was clear and honest about the products available, and didn't try to oversell on any components that we were unsure of. Extremely understanding electrician (Tom), who managed to route all cables hidden from view without disturbing new external rendering. Was a little confusing at the end of installation as we wanted to set up SEG payments with our returned to grid electricity. This was explained and finalised by Peter & Sally, who kept us informed of progress to the very end. Overall installation seems to be working well.....we appear to be exporting power, even on overcast days! Well done UK Alternative Energy Ltd.

A perfection as usual... A sole and only point would be to fully help the customer to fill up certain forms. For instance when you open your electric meter and see all those numbers printed everywhere you don't know which one is the reference number. while passing the form for the feeding tariff it's the same you have to look for things because it's not your field. At every number the form require you stay puzzled...Even paying a bit of extra to do the job would be helpful...

Our salesman, Steve, didn't try to upsell us on equipment that we didn't need bit gave us his best recommendations for our situation. The installation crew were great and we're very happy with it.

Tim was helpful and accessible throughout the installation process. Though there were some glitches with the EV charger installation and due to software glitches. However, all of these were sorted immediately with visit by the relevant experts. Overall, they have been very efficient and I would definitely recommend them.

The team have designed and fitted two solar arrays, two batteries and an air sourced heat pump for us in three stages over two years. They've dealt with the National Grid (formerly Western Power) to gain the necessary permissions for the various installations, helped with grant applications for the heat pump and ensured that all of the installations have gone smoothly. Their engineers have always been friendly, efficient and very tidy workers. We have always found them to be extremely responsive to our questions. The system that they have designed and built for us is extremely efficient, generating enough energy to run a four bedroom house and a small electric vehicle, saving an enormous amount on our energy bills. All of the people that we have dealt with at the company, from our first meeting with Lee, every team of installers, telephone reception and service engineers have been first rate. We cannot recommend the company highly enough. Lovely to work with and so nice to get such quality service.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Lee was extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to, taking the time to clearly explain everything and answer our questions. After discussing a few options, we decided to go ahead with adding a couple of extra solar panels to our existing array and adding a Powerwall 2 and gateway. There was a short wait for the Powerwalls to be in stock but communication was good and come the day of the installation, everything was handled well and the installers were friendly, tidied up after themselves and appear to have done a good job. The handover of the system and documents was one of the best I've experienced and I fully recommend UK Alternative Energy.
