Still waiting for a response to my formal complaint - 3 attempts of contact and 4 weeks post fitting later, no response apart from one phone call full of false promises.

Charged for 2 door bar replacements - did not fit, didnt even see them. Paid for floor removal - did not remove. Missed sealing, slashed corners, patches visible.

Also made to feel very uncomfortable in our own home, I stepped out for a moment and my partner called me back because one of the fitters were shouting and swearing while carrying out the work.

I also didnt appreciate being told I'd have to finish the caulking myself.

Oh yeah, and the vinyl was sat at the store for 2 weeks, I had to call and chase for a date - no apologies made.

Awful.

I would stay away, not sure where all these 5 star reviews are coming from!? Paid for probably.

Poor service and poor workmanship. Ordered some flooring a few weeks ago and never heard anything until we called to check. Our flooring had been there the whole time over 3 weeks and nobody had bothered to inform us. I think if we hadn’t have rang them, it would still be sat in the shop. When ordering our floor in the shop, the guy serving us couldn’t be bothered and said he was leaving that week and you could tell. He was Miserable and unprofessional. We’ve since then been told by the manager he is still there!!!!!
To top that off, the fitters came and wow so rude. Unbelievably rude, and didn’t seem to want to be there or have care for the work they carried out. They were supposed to ring us when on way, didn’t. The one guys spent the whole time moaning and shouting at the floor whilst here. They haven’t even replaced the door strips either or taken the original flooring up even though we have paid extra for this and to be honest wished I’d have done it myself, I’d have done a better job! They rang us after we emailed to say about this poor job, showing them pictures, which they admitted was poor workmanship and that we hadn’t got what we’d fully paid for. They then offered to come back out and fully replace everything and then….. nothing. We’ve followed up and still no response which is appalling. We have given them a chance before leaving this review but times up! I’m letting people now know to strongly avoid using the Nuneaton store. We will also be seeking legal support as we know our rights as consumers. I honestly cannot get over how a business can be allowed to operate like this. Poor communication, poor care, and we have been completely ripped off. Would not recommend this place or its fitters. Stay away, protect your money.

Fantastic service and great staff
Went into the shop with measurements in feet (I’m old school) they did not fuss and converted it across and got me a great off cut to fit my bedroom can’t recommend enough Alex was especially welcoming and helpful with my order

Absolutely horrific experience! Placed order and was given installation date, called them the following week to confirm all was going ahead as had other trades to follow, I was told my LVT flooring was on the van on its way to the store so all ok for fitting. The following day I was told the flooring was delayed and couldn’t be fitted. After chasing for over a week with no return calls and no one answering the phones I went into the store to be told they couldn’t get the flooring I had chosen and would need to choose another one (cheaper) it was eventually fitted although the fitter doesn’t work work full days. The after service is horrendous and when asked for a refund for the difference I was told it would be dealt with but 2 weeks later I am still waiting. Will never use again.

Harry was very helpful today in store. Sorted out our flooring and a new rug for the lounge. Was very pleasant and would highly recommend 👌

Excellent service from ordering to fitting I went for cheapest option due to finances but it was still fantastic quality carpet! Will definitely be going back thank you

Experience was okay, carpet is lovely quality. The man was here fitting for approx 6/7 hours (2 bedrooms and stairs) and unfortunately left marks on some of the walls. The wrong colour door bars were fitted too but it was really hot that day so didn’t make much bother. Fitter was lovely though and in store service was good too.

Very pleased with the service from sale in store, gave professional advice, fitters was brilliant, great job done..

I have always used the store in Nuneaton for my carpets and never had any problems. However last week a new carpet fitter was sent, he damaged my newly decorated walls, the carpet fitted denied it and the store do not seem to want to assist with the matter.

This is our second floor from United carpets and both have been excellent quality. Fitted really and in good time

Went to the Nuneaton store yesterday to have a look for a new bedroom carpet and underlay...after being shown some designs I found one I liked , picked underlay and paid great service ...fitting was offered today ...brilliant service

Couldn’t have asked for more. Even down to the fitter was brilliant!

Carpet fitter left huge mess in baby's bedroom, including sharp gripper rods and empty cans of spray glue. No resolution offered by the shop other than measly discount on future order, can guarantee there won't be one! Avoid.

I had a great initial experience with the store team and the estimator; both were helpful and professional. The vinyl itself is excellent quality, and I’m very happy with the product choice. However, the installation didn't live up to the same standard. The fitter was quite unfriendly, and the finish is disappointing. Specifically, a thin strip was used to fill a gap, and one corner is curling up the wall rather than being flush. Great product, but the fitting service needs improvement.
