The sales staff were very helpful. The price of the underlay was ridiculously high.

The fitters fitted the carpet well but left a lot of rubbish behind, removed a door without telling us and even threw bits out of the window onto a roof below.

We ordered some carpets for our new build house from United carpets & beds. We could’ve got the carpets through the builder however after going to United carpets & beds I realized they were sooooo much better quality and actually slightly cheaper to what the builders were quoting!
The customer service throughout was brilliant, from beginning to finish. Layla offered her expertise which helped us choose the exact carpet we were looking for! The carpet fitters did a brilliant job fitting the carpets and made sure we were happy before leaving which I thought was a nice touch. We are over the moon with the quality of our new carpets, thank you United carpets & beds!

After having a new kitchen I went looking for a vinyl flooring to compliment it. Eventually we found one we liked at United carpets. Staff in the shop were very helpful and informative. When the fitters arrived to fit the flooring they were very polite and introduced themselves as Brett and Mick, they made me feel at ease and fitting was completed quickly and efficiently. All rubbish bagged up and cleaned up after themselves I was very happy with the service and will be returning for my stair carpet very soon thankyou.

Amazing experience from start to finish, very professional from the moment we picked our LVT flooring in store, up-to fitting it in our home.

The customer service received at this location from start to finish was personalised and supportive. The prices of the carpets I purchased to carpet a whole 3 bedroom house were a lot cheaper than most places but the quality and fitting were the best we have had previously. We just want to personally thank you for such a great experience.

I was originally intending to just get new carpets but after such a fantastic and helpful experience in the shop I ended up ordering all new downstairs LVT flooring AND a new mattress too. I was advised on which carpets would be best for each room based on usual wear and those carpets with the thick underlay look and feel absolutely beautiful in all the bedrooms. The flooring downstairs was fully fitted in just one day and is perfect, and the fitters were lovely and friendly. The mattress is amazing quality and to top it all off we got everything at a great price which is how we were able to get the whole house done. Everyone has commented on how brilliant it all looks and we couldn’t be happier. Big thanks to all the very helpful, knowledgable and friendly staff at the Scunthorpe branch.

Couldn’t recommend these guys enough. We’ve had LVT flooring, carpets throughout the whole upstairs and even a new mattress, all of which we absolutely love.
The fitters are all professional and hard working, nothing is too much trouble.
The guys in the shop cannot help enough, and their knowledge helped us no end when deciding on carpets.

Cannot recommend this store enough. Personal customer service from Layla who advised us well on what we needed in terms of a more harder wearing carpet.
The fitter was very professional and understood the need for confidentiality given the work we do.
We would not go to any other shop, it felt like we were the only customer in the shop.

I am writing this review on behalf of our company after receiving feedback from one of our homes. The manager of that particular home gave me feedback. We have been looking for such a long time for a long term supplier to work with us and our ongoing need of change of flooring / carpets which can be quite Regular. We have found one in this store.

Amazing service from start to finish, professional and friendly. I’m so glad I went with them due to the fact I never how looked after I was. I never felt like anything was too much when I spoke to the store, even when I was changing my mind, and the fitters were extremely respectful of my home and did a perfect job of the vinyl. Definitely coming back for some carpets for my bedroom in a few months!

I've used your Scunthorpe store many times before having recently moved house and all the staff have been helpful and knowledgeable! I've purchased a bed and a number of carpets, laminate and vinyl from them and the quality of all was great.

Thank you to Scott and Layla who have always helped me. You're also the only company in my experience who's fitters leave the room tidy with trimmings left neatly in a pile. Thank you.

I bought a carpet and vinyl through the Scunthorpe branch and had a slight problem with the vinyl: but the service to get this resolved by the staff and fitters was really good.

Update:

As you can see from the owners' standard response (bad mistake for reputational damage) they ask US to contact them yet they have all they need in review to find us and contact as which would be more appropriate. Anyway, we did contact them and learned the following:

The contractors are family so there's no way they are going to dismiss them. Goodness knows why they can't work as one unit and split the difference....hmmmm lack of trust perhaps with your own family 🤔. They sent the fitter back to fix the problems however they didn't do this and there's absolutely no difference between the previous job or the fix. I wanted to share images but that's not possible here.

Pros:

Leila, is very welcoming on the front desk and telephone.

The owner is very accommodating and knowledgeable about the various floor products.

The product is very good quality.

The shop is well positioned near to other home stores.

Didn't have to wait long for delivery or fitting.

Fitters are available.

Cons:

Fitters are contracted in, one for screeding the other for laying.

Fitters and screeders paid independently.

Made fuss about the movement of our white goods although did it but made us feel uncomfortable. Husband is disabled.

Screeder threatened to walk off the job.

Screeder cracked our kickboard whilst trying to pull it off without first checking to see how it was fixed, by screws.

We asked for a discount off his price to be able to replace the board but he refused. Said he'd walk off job.

Had to compromise to complete the work in time and now have to pay for a whole set of kickboards.

The shop didn't send anyone out to measure up so did it all ourselves which in essence wasn't a problem but if we had mismeasured then it probably would have been our fault.

The colour match we were looking for in order to get a seamless look between room next door was appalling and although our fault for choosing, in the shop, using a photo we took along with us, could have been corrected had the owner come out and advised us of the colour difference which would have existed.

The transparent sealant was shabbily applied and could be seen from a standing position anywhere in the room. We have since had to remove it albeit we didn't notice whilst they were here or would have told them.

Complete price for job was expensive for size of room.
