Lots of choices
Lots of choices, some good advice and very competitive prices. Made every effort to fit the carpet on a day that suits. It was done efficiently and all the bits bagged up tidily, looks and feels really good.

We had laminate floor fitted throughout…
We had laminate floor fitted throughout the living room and kitchen, the fitters were lovely and friendly and very efficient and it was all down in half a day 😁 the flooring itself is one of the best we have had, great service from star to Finnish.

Kitchen flooring
Managed to complete order in a really short time before xmas. Would have given 5 stars but didn’t tell me I needed to pay an extra £10 for adhesive for fitting until order was being written up. Never heard of this before so felt I’d been upsold at the 11th hour even though it was a small amount. 5 stars for carpet fitter - he was great.

The fitting is shocking its all bumped up everywhere not flat to floor at all. Won't recommend at all.

Ripped off
Myself and my sister went into store and wanted 2 cheap carpets for 2 bedrooms, including underlay and a small piece of lino for the pantry. We chose the carpet at £7.99 a square metre and the total came to £740. We are grieving our late mother and didn’t have time to process the cost and placed the order. When I showed my husband the bill he couldn’t believe how expensive it was so went into store himself. He was served by a different person who looked at the bill and gave him £60 off. I couldn’t believe that we had been over charged and it appears that prices are variable depending on who the customer is and who serves you! I will never use this store again, I feel that they took advantage of 2 young women shopping alone.

Ridiculously priced and bad quality.
First of all, they tried to charge us £600 for a new stair carpet. Managed to get it down to £400, staff clearly care more about sales and commission rather than quality of products. Carpet recommended and chosen looks lovely, however they have fitted standard grippers as they don’t supply short ones which means the grippers are now spiking our feet every time we walk up and down stairs. Had a guy out today to have a look, after taking time off work to wait all day without a phone call, to be told all he was going to do was bang the spikes down which would then make the carpet be detached, leaving it saggy over time. I told him to leave it as we can do that easily ourselves and I don’t feel that someone should get paid to do an easy half fix that causes more issues later on. Unimpressed, unsatisfied and very frustrated. Won’t be shopping here again.

Fraudsters
Bought some carpets and laminate and paid in full to find out on the day that we need to pay money to the fitters. The store now say that they minus this off the total cost however this is not what we were told when we purchased and were led to believe that we paid in full. This was not clear on our invoice and we were lied to when purchasing (wether on purpuse or not). The fitters took the laminate back even though we asked them to leave it so we had to go pick it up and were forced to pay the (unquoted for) carpet fitting and now need to find someone to fit us the laminate because the fitters made it clear to us that they didn't want to do it in the first place. I STRONGLY advise against shopping with united carpets and beds as they are fraudsters.

Terrible
Everything was going well, bought the carpet and laminate booked the fitter. Fitters turned up but he is only fitting the carpet ??? This was never mentioned in store. We need to pay an extra £110 for the laminate to be fitted. Talk about mis-sold. First experience with you and it will be my last!
