The staff were really friendly and helpful!
The fitter was on his own and did hall stairs and landing plus the dining area. Was very impressed with his work. We are pleased with the final result.

We would not go anywhere else for our carpets from when you go in the shop they make you very welcome celia was very professional and helped us out as we were undecided but we got there in the end even the man who came out to fit the carpet he was very polite and just got on and done is job with no fuss whatsoever yes as you see we had fantastic job done we would not hesitate to go back to united carpets we would always recommend our family and friends

Carpet Fitting
Brilliant experience at the Stechford Branch called in on Friday afternoon Celia lovely lady sorted us out very friendly and experienced and knew what she was talking about bedroom carpet was fitted yesterday (monday) morning fitters were also excellent done a brilliant job and made sure we were satisfied with the fitting will definitely go back and also will recommend to family and friends.

Cosy showroom and professional advice from the shop owner. Material is reasonably priced, good quality and lots of options available.
Quick installation booking.
Carpet Installer was professional and finish the job perfectly and quickly.

Excellent service from beginning to end
Excellent service from beginning to end. A great welcome when I entered the shop. The gent who came to measure up gave excellent advice on how to keep costs down (as it was a tricky hall, landing and stairs with a stair lift). The fitter was brilliant, took his time and ensured that it was a professional finish. Got a follow up call from the shop a week later asking if we were happy with everything. Would definitely recommend United Carpets to friends and family.

Today I called and spoken to a very rude lady from the Stechford Birmingham store in regards to a carpet fitted at my parents home.
The carpet was placed in late 2021 and now in June 2023 the carpet is fit for the skip, the lint comes out of it, it’s changed colour with the sunlight in places and it’s shrunk away from the floor gripper.
I called the lady who gave us the excuse that ‘’it’s because you had the carpet cleaned during this time and if you get carpet wet it will do this’’.
The other carpets that we’ve had for years have NEVER done this!
If this is the case then why are carpet cleaners sold?
It’s a feeble excuse for their bad quality products!
So basically, this is a light grey carpet that you can’t clean during its entire lifetime in your home because it will shrink and will basically fall apart after being cleaned.
This woman would not let me speak, continued to talk over me and got all my information wrong because she can’t listen while she’s talking so much in a tone that makes you feel like it’s your fault their carpets are rubbish, she said ‘you told me it was a few weeks ago but it wasn’t it was 2021’. I had to stop her to say that was not what I said and that I couldn’t recall the date but I knew it was some months back.
Please just save your money and buy from somewhere else, unless you can afford to have a new carpet fitted every 14 months and you don’t have elderly relatives that could trip over the bad fitting.
