There were no markings on the existing gearbox. I provided a brief explanation of the issue, added photos and measurements as per website and sent Information to UPVC Store via Whatsapp. Very prompt response with a link to the replacement gearbox. Ordered item which arrived in good time and condition. Cannot fault the service I received.

Ordered a UPVC Fenster-fix Premium Window Pen to cover a few scratches on our front door. Arrived promptly, perfect colour match, easy and very quick to use.

I contacted Upvcstore, after a gearbox broke in my window, I sent them photos, measurements etc, via WhatsApp a bonus for me, it meant I didn't have to speak to a sales rep or deal with telephone calls. Then received a message with two recommendation for a suitable replacement product, and the advantages and disadvantages of both so I could choose. The product arrived quickly, fitted it myself took about 1 hour. Can’t fault the service and will definitely use their services again!.

Superb service with invaluable advice given in a professional and friendly manner. Comunication was easy, as was the on-line ordering system. When my order arrived I found it to be a quality product that was well packaged, the delivery time was reasonable. All in all I can't fault this company.

They took 6 days to send return details, they took 20 further days to approve full refund, only a partial refund was received, had to do a credit card charge back to get full amount.
According to Consumer Contracts Regulations, they have to refund within 14 days of receiving the item, Their website states that they will not refund the delivery postage, which also break Consumer Contracts Regulations. Had to do chargeback to get the delivery postage. IMHO, their automated returns system also is not in compliance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations due to similar reasons to above. I have referred to trading standards. I have full email trail to back this up.

After my wife destroyed our conservatory window locks, I contacted Upvcstore, sent them photos, measurements etc., and received a recommendation for a suitable replacement product. Arrived quickly, fit like a glove, look good and now my home is secure again. Can’t fault the service and will definitely use their services again!.

Seriously make absolutely certain you follow their website instructions to the letter. I have completely renewed two doors without any difficulty or problems so 5 stars there. Communication is non existent if you get it wrong no response to chat,email,phone so 0 stars for that

I ordered two cylinder locks from UPVCStore which arrived promptly. I reported an issue with one of the locks to which they responded immediately and sent a replacement. I would say that my experience with this company has been very good.

Don’t use them -time wasters
I have been charged for priority tracked delivery and after I called them lady said it will take another week to investigate and send it over

Ordered a 35mm uPVC Door Lock Centre Case Gearbox Single Spindle using Amazon - broke after a couple of months - which was installed by a window / door engineer. 3 months later door just suddenly refused to open (which is quite unusual apparently). Had to have someone come out and open the door - he advised the unit wasn’t disengaging the top mushrooms. I contacted for a replacement who advised that it can’t have been and would have been an external factor not a faulty gearbox and they wanted the report of the install and then the fault (all this for a £25 part). Which to be honest got my back up - so I then asked if they would be paying for the reinstall and call out (they ignored this part of my question- which I hadn’t even considered until they refused to honour the warranty on a failed part) I just want a working door and not be locked out of my house. I got a condescending response about being not sure if I am aware but a gearbox. I am out, not worth my time for a £25 part.

I have had the below response below to my 1 star review - no it’s not what I wanted to hear - but the immediate response was that it’s not possible and something else was the cause - so you have already decided it’s not a product failure, components fail, tolerance issues so many options which were not even considered (or even pretended to be) - immediate response was it’s not possible - standard warranty surely would be to request the part back for YOU to investigate, it will be a he said, she said argument between your stance and the engineers report, which I am sure will be a back and forth - and THAT is not worth my time. Yes I was offered a discount as a gesture of goodwill - but I am not going to risk being locked out of my house again for what an engineer has deemed a mechanical failure

Item sent was not compatible. I requested twice for return but they didn’t bother to reply my email or call me.

Found the item I never thought I'd find. The customer service throughout was excellent too.

Having ordered a special front door cylinder lock I had a query and was emailed by Ava who dealt with me and communicated promptly. Ava demonstrated a very professional approach coupled with excellent people skills whilst being "on the ball" throughout. I will use UPVC Store every time that I need these type of products for a speedy delivery. I will "shout from the roof tops" about Ava.

I ordered handles for my windows which were fine. Unfortunately the screws for fixing the handles were not supplied. When I asked why not they said it was because the window casings varied. They did say they would try and find where I could get them from. They didn’t get back to me. Sold me the handles then didn’t want to know! I found out that generic self tapping screws at the size I needed are easily sourced. Disappointed with their after sales service.

Website was and is easy to navigate,ordered some hinges prompt delivery but missed stacking kits.Told UPVC about this and was quickly replied and shipped the same day.

Delivered the wrong items , contacted them to explain and was told to speak to courier , clearly the stores fault as sent wrong items
Still waiting for the correct items to come , 3 e-mails in and still dont have a agreed time and day for delivery a week after first delivery

I found the website easy to use and the information on it very helpful in finding what I needed. Easy to order and the delivery was very prompt. The letter box closure was as described and fitted perfectly in the existing opening. Only job I had to do was drill a hole for the screws. It looks really good.
