John was on time, very polite and thorough

I looked at all the positive reviews ,and contacted them ,said would answer in 24 hours. They didn't return my e mails phoned them ,got a very robotic call centre ,we are sorry ,give you details, still nothing after a week i have to leave negative feedback ,they are so unprofessional, and obviously no after sales care just call centre ?? This is so bad, I and left feeling angry and very frustrated ,I'm now going to find a reliable professional company to carry out the work on my van fleet ,sorry I have had to leave bad feedback ,but people need to know

Awful, waste of time. They gave a price which was agreed, arranged collection today (2 days later), I called to see what time as hadn't heard from anyone, no one knew what was happening although it was on the board for today, told someone will call me back. Someone called to see if the van was still available i explained I'm waiting for it to be collected, they knew nothing about it so went to speak to a director. I got cut off so called them back only for the first guy to answer and offer £1,600 less, then made out it was all this Charlies fault who is working from home. In the meantime I've refused a genuine buyer for very slightly more as i had agreed with these and didn't want to mess anyone about. Sham of a company.

Dealt with John yesterday who I must say was very professional, after being open and honest about the van and its issues they gave a price and when he came to look over the van gave the amount of money they had quoted. Fuss free and easy. John was very polite, turned up on time and was very professional. I would reccomend Vandervan. Keep up the great work John.

Had Cam down here today brought my red 2020 plate custom for a reasonable offer considering the crack in the windscreen, would highly recommend you use these guys 👍.

This company should be called SCAMDERVAN! I 'sold' my van after giving a full and honest history of the van I had from new. Service history, well maintained and looked after. Offered me £1800 after negotiation and the fact that We buy any van had offered similar. They asked for paperwork to be sent to them after numerous hounding's with texts and emails, which they were sent. They promised to fill in the paperwork for me, then sent messages to say they had arranged for collection of the vehicle, then cancelled, then messaged again to say another collection, but then said it was to look at the van. I explained that I had had bad experiences before whilst selling another van, and if they were going to turn up, slate the van, make up some fault and then offer me an insulting price, then don't bother. "We're not like that, we aren't that sort of company" was the response. Well, guess what, they are, they did exactly that, then offered £500. Needless to say they got told to leave. Do not entertain these people, and I would be very sceptical of any reviews that say how good they are, most likely friends or family if not their own staff. Rang to let them know about how disappointed I was, and guess what, from being able to speak to a manager just like that last time, nobody was available this time. SCAMDERVAN please stop, your praying on some people that are backed into a corner sometimes and you just need to be humane and fair to these people. I'll sell it for scrap if needs be rather than be scammed by a bunch of charlatans, liars and thieves.

I received a reply to my review to say that i was scamming them and to anyone who was interested in buying the van that it had a catastrophic engine failure.

I think you've just proved what you are SCAMDERVAN, like I have already said, nothing but liars, crooks, and now libelous statements to boot, which is illegal as you know.

Don't be fooled by these idiots people, they're only out to rip you off, and when you take them to task, they lie and cheat like the scum they are.

Worse than payday loan sharks, praying on the vulnerable.

Just to clarify, I sent a video of the engine running to two reputable mechanics, one who has looked after the van since new, and there is nothing wrong with the engine what so ever. In fact, it was serviced shortly before we decided to upgrade the van and retire the old one, so the 'mechanic' they sent isn't obviously experienced enough, well not in decent vans without any engine issues, only as part of the scam and what to say.

Had the review deleted by Vandervan off their site and reviews.

Also had the guy who came to see the van ring me and call me a liar.

Threatening to put up a bad review about my own business, and said he had shared the video he took for all traders and dealers to see and said to keep clear of the van

Looks like they've done more damage to their reputation themselves without me having to say much more than I did originally.

If you want to sell your van people, and don't want to be scammed, ripped off or threatened, then try elsewhere, it really isn't worth the hassle with this lot.

They're just upset because they've been sussed out.

Vandervan updated their response after Trustpilot reviewed the review and agreed that there was no defamatory or illegal remarks.

Well Done Trystpilot, exactly what your site is set up for, to give honest reviews on products and services.

SCAMDERVAN - Please try to understand, I do not and would not sell the van to you or any other company with the same approach.

I do not need to sell the van, I just wanted to clear the space and let someone use it or break it for parts, it really isn’t desperation as you say.

You’ve been sussed out, so just take it for what it is and move on.

Unfortunately you’ll move on to scam someone else by reducing the price to an insult.

I’m just an honest person trying to help honest people not get ripped off by dishonest companies.

It’s just like Watchdog, mmmmm, there’s a thought.

I can’t wait for the next update on your response, version 4.0 on its way perhaps.

John was polite, courteous and very professional. His experience and knowledge was very good making the sale of my vehicle effortless.

I tried to get an online quote for my van some time ago, but due to personal reasons was unable to deal with the selling of it at that point and i informed the company as such. They waited a while and then call, text and email me from multiple different numbers on a regular basis. i answered a call and told them i wasn’t able to talk but gave them a suggestion when I would be able to talk, they have intentionally ignored this and have been hounding me over the past few days. I answered a call yesterday and reminded them i’d agreed the end of the week, they didn’t know what i’d said that (apparently) but agreed. This morning they started to hound me again. With actions like that, how can they be trusted?

Offered me a price over the phone, explained issues..
Then an assessor turnt up, pointed out issues I'd informed them of, and then tried to offer me 1/3 of original price.
I'd stay clear.

Bought a Mercedes Luton van drives like a dream it’s been well maintained and drives as it should really happy with my purchase bought at a amazing price too :)
