My mate worked for the company and they…

My mate worked for the company and they gave him a damaged van. When he left 2 days later they were trying to blame him for the damage and are still trying to take him to court.

The van they gave him wasn’t supposed to be driven by the yard worker by they snuck him out on the road with an unreliable van which was very dangerous!
DONT WORK FOR THEM!!

I would be very wary of this company if…

I would be very wary of this company if you decide to join - they do give rentals to do the job of delivering behalf of Amazon. But do expected getting push on getting work on time.

At this I thought it was great managed company but it slowly changed due to support and team work efficiency.

On my suppose day off I was push to come into work - as the OSM likes to changed up the rota dates. I gather the further of the doubt and try to push to come into work. On this day the unexpected happens which I was delivering and hit a hidden bollard next to the road sign.

I would be very carful as I was victim of not getting any pay for over 6 weeks due to damages on the rental van all the work I put in they required to take the whole pay from the payslip. No discussions what’s so ever and not much response back from my letters to address to the senior management (Nathan/Fabian).

Until it comes to point I have become financially under due to this as I was unable to pay for fuel to keep running to help pay for the damages and they required me to keep working to pay of the damages.

No sympathy in this matter and very appalling from a DSP.

I have not received a single penny - since you have to wait 2 weeks in for pay and literally not seeing anything to work towards.

I’ve heard stories also if received any parking tickets you will be required to pay not mention expect a surcharge also. I never gone to any rental companies that do this type of thing.

I warned you - don’t make the same mistake as the book will throw back at you. Do watch out if deciding to rent from them too as the believing earning potentials will slowly drift away and not have any type of earnings to look back from the hard works of delivering parcels ⚠️

VANR Ltd operates under clear self-employment and vehicle-rental agreements, which outline how pay, damage liability, and schedule arrangements work.
Drivers are never required to work on days they have not accepted, and any vehicle-damage charges are applied strictly in line with the terms each driver signs before starting.

In this case, the driver rented one of our brand-new ’24-plate vans and, during the first week, the vehicle sustained damage costing £2,264.99.
As set out in the signed agreement, responsibility for such damage rests with the driver.
When the contract ended, this cost remained outstanding.

We understand that accidents and payment issues can be stressful, and we always aim to handle them in a fair and transparent way.
Your feedback is noted and will be reviewed internally so we can continue to maintain clear communication and high standards.

My VANR review as an employee

As a subcontractor at VANR, I can confidently say that the company excels in both van service and rota management. The vans are meticulously maintained, ensuring a smooth and safe driving experience. I was PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED by one of…

I was PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED by one of their drivers after I caught him URINATING ON OUR PRIVATE PROPERTY. The attack was so severe that I was hospitalised with numerous head, facial and other injuries and have suffered long-lasting injuries and effects, including concussion for several weeks after the attack, and also I still have visible scarring over a year on. The police are investigating the attack, but the managing director has been deliberately obstructive and has refused to pass his employee’s details to the police. The perpetrator was a light-skinned young black man, age possibly early twenties, slim build, height approximately 5ft 10in – 6ft, corn-row hairstyle, mild acne-scarred face. IF YOU ENCOUNTER THIS INDIVIDUAL, PLEASE CONTACT THE POLICE IMMEDIATELY. Incredibly, I have been advised by the police that they have had a number instances reported of this nature by employee’s of the same company. Absolutely disgusting people. They should be shut down.

UPDATE:

Following a reply to from the company to my original review OVER ONE YEAR LATER FROM THE ORIGINAL REVIEW!!! the assailant has now been positively identified by the police, questioned, and the case is currently being investigated further.

IN THEIR REPLY, THEY CLAIM THAT THEY WERE NIT CONTACT BY THE POLICE REGARDING THIS ATTACK.

!!!! THIS IS A BARE-FACED LIE !!!!

Again, this company were deliberately obstructive to both the police and myself in passing the employees details to us both.

THIS COMPANY ABSOLUTELY SICKENS ME.

PERHAPS THEY WOULD FEEL DIFFERENTLY IF IT WAS THEM OR ONE OF THIER LOVED ONES WHO WERE VIOLENTLY BEATEN BY THIS DISGUSTING FILTHY SUB-HUMAN ANIMAL.

VILE.

After checking our records, we have no knowledge of any employee or contractor matching the description provided, and no contact has been made with us by the police regarding this allegation.
VANR Ltd takes any report of violence or harassment extremely seriously and would cooperate fully with the authorities if approached.

Because this is now a matter for the police, it would not be appropriate for us to comment further in a public forum.
We will, of course, assist law enforcement immediately should we receive an official request.

Rude drivers that park in the middle of…

Rude drivers that park in the middle of the road, hold up traffic and thinks it okay. The complaints department is non existent and never respond.

My review

Since i been working with vanr they have done nothing but show me complete love cared for my wellbeing when i really needed it vanr has made my experience a lifetime job to talk about to everyone hence why i have already put 2 colleagues onto vanr i have nothing bad to say about vanr but they are my family!

I am grateful to be part of Vanr team.

I am grateful to be part of Vanr team.
My experience has been great working and being part of a very supportive team,I.e. supportive OSM and colleagues. The team is friendly and helpful. Drivers share advice with each other, and management is approachable, which in total makes it a conducive work environment, one that is great for the moral of the team when times are tough.
