Always lovely to catch up with Sonja. She is always happya nd knows what I like. She has a friendly face and listens to what I want but also is honest with freedback or recommendations.

Katie Gibson ( Vivo Halswell) is fabulous ! So talented, she showed me so much compassion and patience to teach me how to style my hair at home to make it look its best. The colour we discussed materialised perfectly, doing such a great job at blending greys and yet look my natural brunette. When I was facing a case of thinning hair / hair loss, Katie was such a great support, and showed so much care and respect ; offering solutions that re assured me greatly. I extremely grateful I came to meet Katie. I could not recommend Katie enough.

It was my first vist to vivo havelock north and I loved it. Made to feel so comfortable. Vanessa seen to my every need and understood exactly what I needed and wanted done. The compliments have been all day about my hair. Thank you so much and yes I will most definitely be returning ☺️

My son has major anxiety especially when it comes to his hair. He's super nervous and worried that he was losing a lot of his length but Vishal from Vivo Hair Salon in Boon Street made him feel so relaxed and in the end, my son was very relieved and so happy which we could tell by his beaming smile he had on. Sorry he is camera shy so I couldnt take a picture but I recommend Vishal for your next hair appointment!

There's hairdressers and then there's Megan! She is absolutely incredible at what she does. I was a nervous first time colour-er and I am so happy with my cut and colour. Megan listened so carefully and asked all the right questions and then had the technical expertise to pull off an incredible natural look! Exactly what I wanted. Thanks Megan!

Mel did such an amazing job on evening out my layers and bringing the volume back to my wavy/curly hair! She explained the process and why she was cutting certain parts (improving the shape and layers, balancing the look etc.) which was very comforting to have, especially as a new client. It's been a week since my cut and I'm so happy with the results, it dries amazing after a wash with little to no effort and her cut has made me feel so much better about my hair.

Tash from Vivo Albany has been styling my hair for a few years now. Tash re layered my hair last week. Best ever cut with extra layers. My hair has natural bounce and volume. Tash listens to what you want and delivers so I wanted to shoutout how good my hair looks and of course how wonderful I think Tash is as a professional stylist. You go girl. 💯🤗

​Reply - Claiming that hiding surcharges in buried terms and conditions counts as "transparency" completely misses the point. Under New Zealand's Fair Trading Act, a headline deal price cannot be used as bait while predictable extra costs are tucked away at the bottom of a page to make the offer look cheap.
​spring-loading extra charges on a client once they are already sitting in the salon chair isn't good customer service or budget management. it puts people on the spot when it's awkward to walk out. True transparency means placing length and thickness costs front and center with the package price before anyone buys a voucher.
​The stylists do good work, but management’s refusal to acknowledge misleading drip-pricing tactics is disappointing. Consumers deserve honest pricing upfront, not fine-print traps.

My stylist was wonderful and did an amazing job, but Vivo’s corporate package marketing is predatory and a long-standing trap for customers. Looking at online feedback, corporate has been running this exact same bait-and-switch pricing model for years.They lure clients in with an online 'New Client Classic Balayage & Cut Package' advertised for a fixed promotional price of $249 (which came to $216.52 with an online offer coupon). The package page explicitly bullets what is included, and the checkout cart takes your money without a single upfront warning about hair length restrictions or surcharges. It is presented as a complete, fixed deal.Yet, once you are sitting in the chair, you find out the actual package limitations are completely missing from the checkout flow and buried behind a generic 'T&Cs' link at the bottom of the main site. This results in a massive surprise $75 surcharge that bumps the price up to $300. Pushing a promotional loyalty deal up to $300 at the chair—which is more expensive than standard pricing at other local competitor salons—completely defeats the purpose of a package.Even worse, I had my hair cut significantly during the appointment to sit just a little bit below my shoulders, so a $75 surcharge is incredibly excessive compared to their vague 'from $25' disclaimer. Forcing customers into a pricing trap when other salons are booked out for weeks is awful corporate behavior. I feel terrible for the stylists who have to deal with the awkwardness of delivering these corporate hidden fees at the chair. Love the individual workers, but the higher-ups need to fix this deceptive website layout immediately. Check the tiny print before you buy!

Payal was the most attentive and loveliest hairdresser I’ve ever had. She fit everything I wanted into my budget and left feeling not only more myself, but an actual model. Will absolutely be coming back!!

one of the things came and a little bit had spilled but Julie responded very quick and sent me a new one she was very nice and understanding.

I arrived at the Havelock North Vivo salon, not 100% sure that my saved pictures would transpire for me.
My hair was dry and multi coloured from numerous semi permanent box dyes.
Jessica was awesome. She understood my ideas and gave me even better than I had visualised. Beautiful colour and cut. I left the salon looking like a new woman!

Tracey has completely transformed my skin from terrible adult acne and scarring to glowly skin that gets regularly complemented. I never believed I could find a topical solution to fix this but chemical peels and needling has forever changed my skin.
