On 13 December last year Viktor & I
On 13 December last year Viktor & I, Kathy, popped into the Vodafone store in Ashton - Under- Lyne when thanks to the amazing service & advice given to us by Rick, we were set up on an international plan. We can't praise him enough for his understanding, expertise & knowledge in comparison to the bad experience we have had in the past with our local Huddersfield Vodafone team . Great work Rick!

Great customer service as always from Viken
We returned to see Viken to sort out a tablet for my daughter. While sorting that out, he also managed to save us some money on our sim only contracts.

The classic Bait and switch
Went in store and placed an order for Broadband on 27th November 2025. The staff member scheduled it to be installed on 4th December 2025. Fast forward to the 4th December my broadband was not installed, so I made a call to Vodafone customer services who explained the branch placed the order wrong and they offered to cancel the order and set up a new contract but at a higher price. I refused and went into store to resolve the issue. I asked to speak to the manager and he introduced himself, then palmed me off to a staff member so he could go and sit in the back office. It was left at 'we are raising a ticket with our SOS team'. Today 5th December the store rang back and said I should just ring up head office and cancel the order then place the order with them again at the new higher price.

Phone upgrade
I walked into the Vodafone shop to upgrade my phone and was greeted by Viken. He smiled and asked me what he could do for me. I explained I wanted to upgrade my phone to the orange iPhone 17 promax. He explained it wasn’t in stock in store but would be delivered to my home address the next day. He sorted everything out for me and got me the best deal he could for airtime based on my usage ver the past months. Viken is a pleasant helpful member of staff and a credit to the store. He explained everything clearly and said if I have any problems just pop in and see him and he would sort them out.
