If I could give Vodafone BROADBAND…
If I could give Vodafone BROADBAND minus zero I would. They responded to my rant with:
"We're sorry to hear about your experience. We completely understand your frustration, particularly given the impact on your Telecare system and other essential services. While we're glad our advisor was helpful, we appreciate that this doesn't make up for your broadband not being activated as promised. If you would like this to be raised as an official complaint, or if you want us to further investigate this for you, please come chat to my team on Facebook at or via Instagram."
So I contacted them via their Facebook page and again another useless and timewasting event because they DON'T deal with what I have gone through so why was that option given - pure incompetency.
After managing to "speak" to a human as opposed to their stupid Bot again I was given the now pointless crap about we're sorry blah blah blah and despite being told on the 7th (a day after activation didn't happen) that someone would call in 48 hours lo and behold NOBODY has called.
I gold the guy I'm cancelling only to be told cancelling can't be done as the connection hadn't been completed...told him to stuff the completion I'm cancelling. He then goes on to say that I should wait until Monday (today) or Tuesday for matters to be resolved...again told him told him they can stuff it cos I'm cancelling and going back to my previous providers Community Fibre.
The only reason I chose to not renew my contract with Community Fibre was because looking to save some money I opted to go with Vodafone as they were cheaper and even at their highest price over the two years it would still be cheaper than what I was paying for with Community Fibre - but as the saying goes pay cheap you get cheap.
The irony of it is that I have been with Vodafone Mobile for 8 years and never had any problem but that is now changing...paying for two SIMS, one is out of contract and I will be transferring that SIM to another mobile provider that I already use and when my other SIM contract comes to an end I shall also transfer that.
I thank God that I have unlimited data because I would surely have been stuck up Dawson's Creek and am having to have my grandson stay with me as my Telecare System is inoperable with no broadband access and am having to utilise my mobile data just to use my laptop.
I have never come across a supposed "leading broadband provider" who does not even send out a piggin engineer to install the ONT. Five days of no broadband connection and they expect me to wait for another two days - yeah right of course I will...pft
