NEVER use this company

NEVER use this company , the returns process is none existant you just never hear anything from them & up to now I have not recieved my money back , the only way of contact is social media which I don't use , do yourself a favour & shop with a reputable company that you can discuss your problems with a human being !!!!!!
Just checked with Royal Mail tracking , Wallis received this return on 18th September & I still haven't even had the coutesy of an email to acknowlege the return never mind had my money back , that is 16 days !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Rob"obviously can't read I suppose a robot i had waited 16 days after you received my return before writing the review so what happened to 14 days , and there is no way of discussing anything with anyone !!!!!!!

No way to review a poor purchase…

Tried to review a pretty poor purchase on the wallis site, but not only is there no dedicated way of doing it through your orders, you can't even do it on the product page - says that "submission is currently unavailable". This is a tactic to prevent you from leaving unfavourable reviews.

Wallis has gone down the toilet in recent years, the quality of their clothing is really poor when compared to the price. I wouldn't trust this brand to buy from online ever again.

Horrific refund process

Horrific refund process. I have been told 2 differnet refund dates by the automated system. Neither was correct. I am owed well over £100 and this is now almost 3 weeks with 0 contact. I am in the process of starting legal action if I receive no response in next few days. NEVER AGAIN

Disastrous company..

What has happened to this store which is now online only? So sad to see this upmarket store descend into the abyss. I bought a lovely dress online which wasn’t suitable for me and returned it. This was on 5 September. It’s now 21 September and although I’ve messaged them on Facebook Messenger (the only option I’ve found) I get AI responses saying the refund is ’in the system’ and will be refunded shortly. Luckily, unlike others it’s not a lot of money but they have the audacity to take £1.99 off the refunded amount after waiting all these weeks to get it back! Time for Martin Lewis to step in to sort out this unscrupulous mess of a company who I believe is now Boohoo. Won’t be buying anything from the Boohoo stable ever again and hopefully they’ll eventually close up shop if everyone does the same.

Not easy getting a refund

I bought some items and returned them immediately.
To get a refund was unbelievable.
You have to contact them using WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger.
After several attempts with no refund, I had to file a complaint with the payment platform I used to make the payment.
Thankfully, they looked into the complaint, and that was when I got my full refund back.
I will never buy anything from them again.
Please note that this is no longer the original Wallis. Wallis and Debenhams have been bought, so you are not dealing with the original Wallis or Debenhams.

Wallis Order DUX044300190 – Unacceptable Silence and System Failure

I placed an order with Wallis on 11th September, expecting delivery within 5–7 days, as stated on your website. That would have meant arrival by the 22nd—a deadline that mattered, as the item was meant to travel abroad on the 23rd. It’s now the 19th, and I’ve received no parcel, no update, and no support.
I emailed Wallis—no reply. I tried the WhatsApp link on your website, only to be rerouted to Debenhams, with whom I previously had a separate issue that took huge effort and far too much time to resolve. Now, the WhatsApp team is ignoring my messages entirely.
To make matters worse, I cannot log in to the Wallis website to track my order. The site throws an error, and despite multiple attempts to reset my password, no reset link was ever sent. The website is clearly not functioning, and no one is responding to tell me where my parcel is or whether it will ever arrive.
Out of sheer necessity, I placed a similar order with Amazon yesterday—and I’ve already received confirmation that it’s ready to collect at my local counter. That’s the level of service I expected from Wallis, and it’s deeply disappointing that I had to go elsewhere.
This is not just poor service—it’s systemic failure. I’ve lost time, trust, and potentially the entire purpose of the order. If Wallis still operates with any accountability, I expect an immediate response, a full refund, and a clear explanation for this appalling experience.

Updated Review:
I had a disappointing experience with a Wallis order that never arrived. The courier confirmed it was never handed over, and initial attempts to resolve the issue went nowhere. Interestingly, when you click the Wallis WhatsApp contact link, you end up chatting with Debenhams customer service—perhaps they’re now part of the same company. After several messages, Debenhams did eventually issue a full refund, which I appreciate. That said, this mirrored an earlier issue I had with a Debenhams order, suggesting a recurring problem with order fulfilment and communication. I hope the company takes steps to streamline its systems and improve customer support.

How is this company still trading?

Placed order for 2 items one was delivered fairly promptly, the other is missing presumed lost.
4 attempts at contacting customer services, with the same idiotic robotic response everyone else is complaining about. Can't believe you are still getting away with this, Wallis, and I won't rest until have my items or a refund.
Update 27/09. I used a company called Resolve which came up when I was reviewing other complaints about Wallis. This is allegedy free (not asked for any payment) and they managed to solicit a response from Wallis to the effect that I'll be getting a refund....watch this space.
Also received reply to this review from Rob, (short for Robot) which was the same as it's reply to all the other reviews

Not fulfilled express delivery but taken payment

I’ve had a really frustrating experience with Wallis. Placing an order on the website was unnecessarily difficult, both my debit card and Apple Pay were repeatedly rejected, and I was eventually forced to complete the payment using the same debit card via PayPal.
I also paid extra for express delivery, but have now been told that one of the items won’t arrive until Monday, which is outside of the express delivery timeframe, making the extra charge completely pointless. To make matters worse, I’ve received no delivery update whatsoever for the second item.
When I tried to contact Wallis, I was directed to a WhatsApp number for Debenhams, with no option to speak to someone over the phone. I then received a generic message stating the item was sold via a third party and could take up to five days to arrive, something that was never made clear at the time of purchase.
Ironically, had I not paid for express delivery, I would have qualified for free standard delivery (delivers within 5 days) anyway, as my order was over £75.
Overall, this has been a really disappointing experience. It’s easy to overlook customer service once an order has been placed, but what businesses often forget is that poor service ensures one thing… customers won’t come back.

Something I’ve also noticed from reading the reviews are the stories that match not only mine regarding Wallis but a poor experience I also had with boohoo (customer being told CCTV of returned item being unpacked has to be watched before a refund can be issued) and a quick search shows me that Boohoo owns Wallis! I feel very disgruntled to find this out as I had vowed never to order from Boohoo again!

No it has NOT been dealt with properly, or resolved by customer Service, I paid extra for express delivery, and it came after the delivery date expected, customer service via WhatsApp initially ignored my messages then when they finally replied they REFUSED to refund me for the delivery…then they ignored further messages!

STILL NO REFUND

So disappointed with the refund process! It has been over 3 weeks since I returned all of the items I ordered and still no refund. I have messaged and emailed and keep getting the same robotic response. I am considering legal action if this is not resolved.

Absolutely shambles of a refund process. The portal does not work according to their customer support services and you are left without any option of returning goods or exchange
Will not use Wallis again and will definitely be warning my friends and work colleagues

Disgraceful customer service

Order Number: DUX043604736 placed on 18th Aug supposed to received on 28th but have not been received.
Customer service said, she checked internal tracking and cannot see any further updates from last August 26th, the courier seems to be having problem with your item as it was not received at the delivery hub.
No worries, we are still investigating with your item. If your parcel hasn't arrived by September 7th, please get in touch with us on the September 8th, so we can fix this for you.

I sent message on the 9th Sept requesting for gift refund. Automated reply acknowledged receiving my message.
No further contact received from customer service to date it's now 14th Sept.
Tried to address refund via return portal but was not possible, as lost item not included in reason for refund.
Beyond disappointed. I would have been given score of zero if possible.

Customer service please get in touch I want my money back plus delivery fee!

If I could give this company zero stars…

If I could give this company zero stars I would. They received my returns over 2 weeks ago and I still haven’t received my refunds. No telephone number just contact on WhatsApp, where they keep saying my refunds were processed 18/8. Order nos DUX043498198 and DUX043457089. I will never shop from here again

Missing refunds

I have five outstanding refunds totalling several hundred pounds. I have emailed them and was told I would receive a reply within 48 hours- that was two weeks ago! Don't buy from them unless you are sure you want to keep the items

Parcel arrived with an item missing…

Parcel arrived with an item missing with a large hole in the bag … too many items had been squeezed in.
It took many e mails and weeks before I was refunded missing item after they stated they would watch video of packing and if the item had been packed I would not get a refund!
For other items returned promptly it has taken 4 weeks for the money to be refunded.
Unable to speak to a person. 😡

Disappointed

I'm really upset. I purchased a bridal outfit, it was to long I sent it back the 7 th of August and still nothing. I went on there how to contact there WhatsApp is straight to Debenhams. I'm 119.00 down.My order number is DUX042961686. I won't be ordering from here again.

No Refund

Took 6 days to arrive, had to return and 3 weeks later am still waiting for a refund, no acknowledgment of return and cannot speak to anyone, just an AI message which states refund was issued 7 days ago but I do not have it.

Requested a change of delivery address…

Requested a change of delivery address a few mins after my order was placed. Refused to change and told to go to my old address to pick up. I don’t live nearby and am disabled so explained it was a mistake which I realised immediately and messaged and emailed to request a change. Refused to deliver to my new address - customer services unhelpful and disappointing as used this brand for many years. Will not be ordering again .

The courier who is shipping yopur parcel maybe able to divert to local click & collect store or locker. This will need to be requested via the couriers own App.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.


I bought shoes online on Monday 4 August and received NO confirmation. On 8 August, I believed I hadn’t completed the order, as any payments taken from my account did not refer to Wallis. There was one payment referencing “DBZ CD,” which I didn’t associate with Wallis. A quick Google search didn’t link it to them either. I’m getting married, so there are lots of transactions on my account right now, and I thought I hadn’t finalised the order. After all, what company doesn’t send an order confirmation? They manage to email offers, abandoned basket reminders, and anything else to push you to buy something, but absolutely nothing (and don’t patronise me by suggesting it went into spam) about the actual order.
On 8 August, I placed a new order. Again, no confirmation. Pattern? I then noticed the same “DBZ” bank reference and realised I had placed the initial order after all. That order has been fulfilled and delivered. Still no sign of the first order.

The product received is not suitable (absolutely no way are they wide fit shoes). I tried to arrange a return but can’t log in. I requested a password reset multiple times, nothing. Still, I can receive every daily spam email they send.

The “returns” link on the FAQ is a fake redirect to their products. No help at all. I have emailed twice, been told to wait 48 hours, and I am still waiting. I expect a full refund for the £58 order you have not fulfilled and to be able to arrange a return and refund for the unsuitable shoes.

I do not want to hear any excuses, I want clear coherent directions on what to do.

UPDATE: I WANT A COHERENT RESPONSE NOT DELIVERY OF THE FIRST PAIR OF SHOES THAT YOU HAVE NOW SENT ME A NOTIFICATION OF, I DO NOT WANT THEM. I WANT A PASSWORD RESET EMAIL SO I CAN LOG IN AND GET EVERYTHING SENT BACK.
