I have just had my watch serviced by the Watch Doctors for the 2nd time. I would never go anywhere else. Let me explain why. I live in Bromley and I have a Heuer Carrera, it's powered by a Valjoux 7750 and some years ago it stopped working. I took it to a local watchmaker in South London, they quoted me £500 to fix. Something told me that was not right so after searching watchuseek I drove to Hitchin and the chaps had a look, they quoted £5, yes £5. Apparently a tiny screw had become loose. So I took the opportunity to have a new bezel and a service. They had more than earned my trust. My 2nd visit a few weeks ago was due to dropping the watch on the floor which again resulted in her stopping. They once again fixed the fault, put on another new bezel (dings and door handles I'm afraid) and serviced the watch. All this was done for a price much much more competitively than any competition. I cannot recommend this firm any higher. They are honest, lovely to deal with and fairly priced. If I moved to Zambia I would still send my watches to the Watch Doctors in Hitchin. Thank you all so much and see you at the next service...and bezel no doubt :)

Absolutely first class service from this company. I have a Tag Heuer Formula 1 alarm watch from 2008 which just died. I had 2 local watch makers look at it, one who couldn't do anything with it and another who said they could for £450. Found the Watch Doctors on line who gave an estimate of £195 to replace the mechanism so sent it off. Confirmation email received of receipt their end including photographs of the watch. Instructed them to proceed with the repair and I received the watch back about 3 weeks later (mechanism would have been ordered in) fully working, pressure tested and in a lovely watch pouch with 12 month guarantee. Absolutely excellent service and will certainly use them again. A+++

These guys have gone above and beyond. I have been using the battery and re seal service for years. But this time I asked if they could re paint the tag badge back to its former glory. They said they would not be able to do it. But when it was delivered back they had done it ! Wow what a surprise. They went above and beyond.

I had a Skagen watch that had stopped while changing the date . A local watch repair shop managed to get it going again but the same fault happened again. I contacted Watch Doctors and paid for a full service - the watch was returned to me but unfortunately the same fault occurred again. The service carried a 12 month warranty and I returned the watch . The technician replaced the movement without further charge and I’m delighted with the professionalism and excellent quality of service and customer care. I heartily recommend this company.

Very professional, and excellent service provided. My watch looked fabulous once repaired and serviced. They even fast tracked it through their workshop so it was ready for my birthday celebrations.

Great communication - sent a picture to confirm receipt. Estimate was great value and service carried out quickly. Return by next day delivery and watch was in a lovely soft pouch. My watch looks brand new - case and strap polished to perfection.

Sent my Hamilton Viewmaster off for crown repair and full service. Received my watch a few days ago and it's running like a dream. Great service and at a decent price. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

Over the years, as a collector of higher end watches i've had around 8 Omegas, 2 Tag Heuers and a couple of Breitlings serviced. Have got them back in reasonable time, usually around 4-5 weeks cleaned and polished. Very happy with the service and will continue to use them as long as i'm wearing and collecting.

I had a 1965 Omega Seamaster serviced in full, after Omega had stated they were unable to provide the required parts for the service. Not only did the team in Thame manage to source and replace the required parts, the watch now runs perfectly.

Today I visited to ask for a minor touch up of paint on the bezel of a different watch. They had it sorted and looking good as new within 20 minutes. Unbelievably good customer service from a great team.

Two years ago I paid them £200 . After 23 months my watch stopped !
So , I went back as I had about 2 weeks left on the guarantee . They kept it for 3 weeks and guess what !
Now it keeps stopping.
What a waste of money. All they do is talk the talk.
Don’t touch them ,take your watches elsewhere . It will be easier than getting ripped off.

My Fortis suffered an internal malfunction that required specialist help.Watch doctors repaired and bought my watch back up to health again. Considering the complexities of these watches I think the charges that were levied for repair were very fair indeed. The watch is running perfectly and I am delighted. Great service, thank you.

Really impressed, great customer service. I thought my omega needed a service, having never had one, but I took it to the Thame branch and they advised that if it just needs a new battery then there is no need to service it so they replaced the battery, resealed it and then sent it off for a sonic clean all for £60 so I’m thrilled as saved me a small fortune. My watch looks great and is back working good as new. Will definitely use again.

Absolutely appalling experience from this company. I sent my Longines Dolce Vita Quartz watch to Watch Doctors to have the battery replaced and the case gasket/seal renewed. I was quoted £47 for this straightforward service, but after they had been in receipt of my watch for over a week, I contacted them to see why they had not yet completed the service. They informed me that the watch was now intermittently 'stopping' following the battery replacement (my watch - which was purchased new from Ernest Jones over 18 months previously - had always ran flawlessly and kept time to within 2 seconds a month). As a watch collector for over 30 years (and with 40 plus watches), it was quite apparent that Watch Doctors had, in some way, damaged the movement. They now, incredulously, requested £220 to have the watch repaired. Incensed by this, I immediately complained to Longines UK, who recommended that I send the watch to them to have it inspected.
After threatening to take this matter to Trading Standards, Watch Doctors then agreed to repair the watch for the original fee of £47. They also admitted that they had to fit a new movement which they claimed had been sourced from Longines.
I have, finally, after more than a month received my watch and am outraged. It is covered in scratches and the caseback has several deep gouge marks which were not there previously. I am now going to have to pay to have my watch professionally polished. I will be reporting this to Longines UK, and will be urging them to remove Watch Doctors from their approved list of Longines Service Centres.
As many others have noted, Watch Doctors quality of service simply is sub-standard, and given my experience, I would recommend that anyone with a Longines watch should send it directly to Longines main UK Service Centre in Southampton.

Exceeded my expectations. Replaced watch face with a better one than original for the cost of a round of beer in London. Easy process - they send you a box to send them your watch. Highly recommended - thank you Watch Doctors !

I sent 2 watches to Watch Doctors both watches were over 50 years old but they came back looking like new.

Used this company a couple of times now and have to say the service has been absolutely top class. From the initial contact asking for a quote to the replacement and sourcing of a watch strap and clasp, to the invoicing and return has been superb. Regular contact throughout and really reasonable price for the work. I’d highly recommend!!!

I had a G SS SKAGEN Q watch with damaged hands and front bezel detached. The whole process from initial contact to receipt of repaired device was very smooth and efficient. My options were made clear as were potential extra costs. I would not hesitate to use again.

Watch doctors have had my watch for nearly 2 months and provided a quote of £1500 for restoration of my Rolex only to be told no guarantee would be offered. I find this highly suspect for a company to be willing to take a large amount of money to fix a watch but not offer any kind of guarantee for the service they are providing. Doesn’t sound trustworthy in the slightest have asked my watch is returned to me. Would not recommend to anyone as they can’t even provide a guarantee for a service that they are providing regardless of the condition of the watch.

Had a Balmain and Gucci that both weren’t working, even after battery replacement. Online quote request was prompt and reasonable, and packaging was sent in order to securely post. The servicing took several weeks, but the watches worked afterwards and were beautifully cleaned up. Two year guarantee is appreciated. Customer service was excellent in changing the delivery addresses and ensuring it was a legitimate change - thank you Divia!
