Sent my phone off as 'faulty' condition…
Sent my phone off as 'faulty' condition which adhered to their terms. Only one 'fault' which was the side on/off button. Their report came back stating the volume buttons didn't work either, I knew this wasn't true so decline their revised valuation knocking 33% off the original offer and asked for the phone to be returned. Sure enough, booted the phone up, volume buttons work fine. I have a photo showing the volume button responding to my press, which also shows the phone's serial next to their report with matching serial. Unfortunately I can't add photos. Order #1770987083 for anyone from webuytek who cares.

10/10, this company offered me the most money for my old phone on a comparison site, they sent me a pack in the post and a prepaid label to send it away. Money in the bank in a few days! Literally the day after they received it. And the FULL amount too. I was sure the quote would be knocked down as I didn’t have the original box etc but no they paid the amount they initially quoted. Will definitely use their services again. Thanks so much!

Don’t bother.
It’s a shame I can’t attach a video to my review as I took a video of my iPhone 11 just before I put it in the package to send off to We Buy Tek for recycling.
I was offered maybe £50 initially for the phone, then had a email saying they had found some faults (screen discolouration and white spots) and would be offering less than that. I’ve just rewatched the video I took of me scrolling through some functions on the phone and the device is yes, older than most, but the screen is perfect.
Total waste of time, to be honest. If the phone isn’t returned in the condition I sent it in, I will follow this up appropriately. Disappointing and would not recommend.

I did a quote comparison site and these…
I did a quote comparison site and these guys came out on top. I stated my phone was ‘damaged’ as it’d had a non genuine screen fitted. They still tried to offer me less than half of what they had originally quoted, and gave me the option to have the phone returned, which I selected. Then they were able to increase the offer another two times! Still not meeting the minimum threshold I asked for, I asked for the phone to be returned. Having just received it back they damaged its original box by ripping it on both sides. So frustrating as I believe it’s packaging reflects its quality and how looked after something is when it comes to selling it second hand.

We buy tek don't believe their first quote
I sent my phone to we buy tek which was quick and easy but they drastically dropped the price from what was first offered just because of screen burn don't believe the price quoted

Thank you for your review, your order was placed for a device in good condition, sadly when we tested the device screen-burn was found to be present. Due to this the LCD would need to be replaced and therefore the value of your device needed to be reconsidered.
I'm sorry that we were unable to pay your original quote however the device did not meet the criteria stated in our terms for good condition.

Tricked me with what they would pay
Tricked me with what they would pay, but at least they pay something. Phone was clearly sold as faulty, so it’s a bit harsh to lower the price by more than £60.
