Be sure to check they’ve done as promised
I used We Clear Norfolk to clear my grandparents’ bungalow and genuinely believed everything had been handled with care. Sadly, I later learned from the new owners that the loft hadn’t been cleared at all, despite it being included in the quote and agreement. When I approached the company, I didn’t receive an apology or any sense of responsibility for the oversight. Instead, the response left me feeling disheartened and disappointed, especially after trusting that the work had been completed as promised. Among other things, Nathan said “As a business we don’t get things right 100% of the time”. This was as close as I got to an apology or accepting responsibility.
My intention in sharing this is simply to help others avoid the same situation. I would gently encourage future customers to check every area thoroughly—including lofts, garages, and any out‑of‑sight spaces—before signing off or making payment. I wish I had checked everywhere, but trusted the assurances that Nathan gave me.
I was time poor and didn’t have the time to check around, but then I honestly I didn’t think I would need to. Hopefully this review will stop it from happening to anyone else.
