Decided to purchase my first set of wheels and tire package after my own need replaced/repaired.
Reached out by email to ensure correct fitment and had questions regarding payment plan via klarna.
A gentleman Dave Hurst replied and even offered package for cheaper than originally priced.
Upon choosing alloy & tire package Dave called personally after ordered stating tyres I chose wouldn't be in until Monday although I had hoped to receive for Saturday, he found different tyres same specs and the complete order arrived today 2 days after order.
My new wheels are on and I'm over the moon with them they look class.

Bought my first ever ebike through Wheelbase using the Green Commute Initiative cycle to work scheme. The whole process was smooth and straightforward, they were helpful, responsive and made the GCI process easy to navigate. The bike arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. A disappointing experience with my purchase of an electric C-Line Brompton. PDI checks weren't really checked in 2 cases - one quite important, the other, less so. I sorted these myself. Wrong battery charger sent out (twice) but warranty manager got the right one plus the correct instruction manual sent out quickly. So that was a better experience and raised the score from one star to three. But I'm not inclined to buy my Brompton G Line Electric from Wheelbase I'm sorry to say.

First time using this company even though I'm always looking on there website, between ordering and delivery everything was seamless would highly recommend.

They did a fantastic job servicing my brakes the day before the Fred Whitton challenge this year. Much appreciated! and a nice store too. I also bought some wheels from them last year and delivery and service was again excellent. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended, ordered a bike to collect in store , the team worked around my schedule to have it ready earlier at my request , at collection the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, even spent a good hour showing me around the bike and personalising the setup for me. Fantastic experience.

Bike arrived without pedals, making it immediately unusable.
The accessories (bell, reflectors) were poorly packaged — small components were scattered loose throughout the box rather than grouped together.
Delivery by DX was equally poor. The window was 8:00–18:00 with no tracking or updates, and a £3,500 order was left unattended outside the front door during a 15-minute school run.

The bike was good and delivered quickly. Disappointingly they have refused to pay my cashback (via TopCashBack) which I think is poor.

The staff were knowledgeable and very helpful. The two bikes I bought were competitively priced.

Very disappointed with rudeness of staff on the day after our Brompton bicycle had a new gear cable fitted plus other work to the cost of £254 on it’s first ride out after 5 miles the ‘hub gear cable pulley anchorage’ broke leaving me uphill in top gear. The response we received was unhelpful and condescending both on the phone when I was with a very helpful member of staff in Windermere bike shop (Total Adventure Bike Hire) who diagnosed the problem and got me back in a low gear and when my partner then did another journey to Staveley with the bike to be told it was not broken when it left the bike shop. However the mechanic was apologetic. In no way did the manager nor company make us feel valued as customers and we regret spending any money with them.

I wanted to order a bike with different handlebar width to the original, sent email and followed with phone call. The Man on the phone was extremely helpful in setting up finance and everything needed for the bike and new handlebar fitting. Bike looks amazing and delivery was prompt.

Yet again Ben and the team in Ilkley really helped me out with my bike (rear mech setup).

I like that not only is my bike running so much smoother but that they also take the time to explain what was wrong, how that effected my cycling and also what they did to fix it

I do my own servicing but it goes to show that it's still always worth taking into a professional from time to time to make sure it's all good

My first time using wheelbase and won’t be the last. After the chain snapped on my bike and was unable to get it looked at elsewhere. I tried my luck when passing by. The member off staff that assisted me was brilliant. Came out looked at the bike and said he could do it straight away for me. ( usually would need an appointment, I got lucky it was towards the end of the day ) within 15 minutes the job was completed. Thanks again much appreciated.
