Lucky for me Emma was on the till. She didn't have to, but she reminded me that I didn't use my trade discount and amazingly sorted out my discount on the spot. She an absolute Gem!

I visited the Blackheath store today to purchase some decorative stones. The bags was very heavy and difficult to lift but one of the store members called Hayley assisted me without being asked. Hayley was very kind, she lifted the bags off the shelf and placed them in my trolley.
It’s hard to find good staff members these days that genuinely want to help and Hayley is one of those rare gems!

Convenient for parking and well stocked. Been using it for years but especially in the last few weeks while prepping a house for sale. The staff - Haley is it? And Hutch - are great fun and always helpful.

This is the short version of what could be a very long write-up:
- I ordered a door
- The scheduled delivery didn't arrive, and there was zero notification
- I called Customer Services, and rescheduled for the next available day. Again it didn't arrive, again no notification, and no follow-up
- I called CS again, but asked them to contact the manager at Wickes Blackheath to find out why the door wasn't being delivered before rescheduling. Later I got a notice that it had been scheduled for the next day, but for the third time it failed to turn up.
- On my fourth call to CS I was told that someone had cancelled the order (it doesn't show cancelled in my Wickes account, and no-one knows who or why it was cancelled)
- I had a call from someone at the store, but she had no info and said she'd ask the mgr to call. That was 3 hrs ago. There was no call
In all this, I've had zero notifications for failed deliveries before or after. No-one has any explanation for why the door hasn't been delivered. Seemingly no-one takes records of failed deliveries, no-one can ask the delivery driver, and no-one is prepared to actually do anything at all to get this door delivered.
Everything just goes into one big black hole, and no-one at Wickes gives a sheet...

Great bathroom renovation experience with Sadia at Wickes Blackheath who made our bathroom renovation a breeze. She was thoughtful, conscientious and friendly designer and project manager.
The Wickes bathroom installers were brilliant and went above and beyond.
I really liked the floor we go which was panels of marble: Novocore White Marble Pre-Grouted Tile Effect SPC Luxury Vinyl Flooring - 1.97m2.
Also the wall panels in herringbone pink are gorgeous but we did have a few deliver issues from the supplier (not Wickes) but Sadia and the installers sorted it out quickly.

Avoid Wickes – especially for large orders or deliveries.
I originally thought my experience with the Catford branch was already as bad as it could get. However, after dealing with the Blackheath branch, I realised this is not just one store’s issue – it reflects a wider problem with how Wickes treats its customers. They simply do not respect customers’ time, money, or property.
Due to an error from the Catford store, a delivery that was supposed to be made to my home was suddenly cancelled. As a result, I had to pay out of my own pocket to hire a private van and travel to the Blackheath store to collect the goods myself.
I called in advance to confirm the collection time. Upon arrival, I was told to go to the back of the store. When I spoke to a forklift driver and explained I had been directed there, I was told to wait “2 minutes.” I ended up waiting in the rain for over 20 minutes.
When I followed up, I was told I was not supposed to be inside the gate and had to wait outside — despite being sent there by their own staff. After another 6–7 minutes in heavy rain, I was finally allowed in.
It only got worse from there. The staff opened my insulation packaging and expected me and the van driver to load everything ourselves. This is completely unacceptable. Insulation materials are supposed to be kept dry, and exposing them in the rain risks damaging the product. If they had no intention of assisting with loading, why open the packaging at all?
I raised these issues with the store manager, explaining clearly:
* The situation was caused by their initial delivery failure
* I had already incurred additional costs
* I was left waiting unnecessarily in poor conditions
* No assistance was provided with loading
* My goods were opened and potentially compromised
Instead of addressing these concerns, the manager was dismissive and defensive, and seemed to treat me as if I was simply making a fuss. She insisted that if there were other loading operations, I just had to wait, even if the wait need to be few hours and stated she would not “go against her colleague.” In the end, I was simply given a phone number and told to make a formal complaint myself.
This level of service is unacceptable. Poor communication, no accountability, and a complete lack of respect for customers.
I would strongly advise others to aviod Wickes for anything beyond simple in-store purchases. The brand appears incapable of handling deliveries, collections, or customer service to an acceptable standard.

I chose Wickes after a friend, who had recently used them for a bathroom installation, spoke very highly of their service. After getting in touch with the store, I was introduced to Jing Wang, one of their design consultants, and I’m so glad I was.
Jing has been absolutely exceptional from start to finish. She offers first-rate advice, and is genuinely a pleasure to work with, knowledgeable, personable, and always willing to go the extra mile.
I honestly don’t think I could have got through this process without her. She has gone above and beyond, helping to liaise with the installation team and providing clear, practical advice to keep everything on track.
If you’re considering a new bathroom or want to work with a design consultant who truly cares about delivering a great experience, I couldn’t recommend Jing highly enough. You’ll be in very safe hands.

A few months ago, I had the pleasure of working with Imran Ali from Wicks in Blackheath, a kitchen designer who delivered an excellent service from start to finish.
From the outset, he was professional, focused, and clearly committed to getting things right. He took the time to understand exactly what I was aiming for and came back with practical ideas and smart design suggestions that genuinely improved the final result.
His knowledge and attention to detail were obvious throughout the process. He was always patient, willing to answer questions, and happy to make adjustments to ensure the kitchen matched what I had in mind.
What impressed me most was his commitment to doing the job properly. Nothing felt rushed, and he made sure every detail was considered. The end result exceeded expectations in both functionality and appearance.
I’d confidently recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable and skilled kitchen designer. He made the whole process straightforward and hassle-free.

We have recently had our en-suite bathroom remodelled through Wickes Blackheath.
Jing Wang was our point of contact from first enquiry all the way through to completion and we can't speak highly enough of her - from helping us with the design and parts choices including creating a 3D model for us to visualise the design to ensuring all deliveries were here on time and answering all our last minute questions and panics. Jing also chased us to make sure things got agreed so we could take advantage of an offer that was due to end shortly that saved us a lot of money.
She's always made herself available when we've needed her and always a pleasure to work with.
The fitter that Jing assigned for our work (Arlo's Plumbing) were brilliant - professional, fast and pleasant to have around. The standard of work is absolutely first class. We'd recommend them to anyone.
We're so happy with the final result, thank you!

We recently had a new kitchen installed. We were originally planning to use Howdens to supply the kitchen units but once we had spent a short time with Jing Wang at Wickes Blackheath, we were sold on Wickes instead. Jing made the process of designing the kitchen easy. She listened to what we wanted and came up with good ideas to make the best use of the space available. She was careful to check that we had made the right choices of items and when we subsequently needed additional items to complete the job, she was quick and efficient in ordering the extra bits and pieces. I thoroughly recommend Jing and we are also happy with the quality of the kitchen itself.

Bought our kitchen at Wickes last summer. Replaced all units and made required improvements to electrics and plumbing. Really happy with the design consultation we had with Jing at Blackheath. She was super responsive and very helpful with sorting out issues. Our fitter Tudor was very quick.and efficient and did a very satisfactory job with the units. He also exceeded expectation by responding positively to some minor additions and.changes we wanted to make. Nas, his boss, was also highly responsive and helpful and clearly the comes between him and Jing was good, too. Some.minor gripes with the flooring we chose not lying absolutely perfectly on our old concrete floor and the Wickes units themselves showing every finger mark (constantly having to clean them.down). Overall a brilliant service from all concerned.
