I have been in twice now once further kitchen and again for lounge units Anna was superb from start to finish she took my ideas and ran with them and the results were amazing she was professional through and is top notch at the design work i would go anywhere else she a credit to the company

We had an appointment booked for 1pm at the Blackpool Wickes store. Unfortunately, due to traffic we didn't arrive in store until 1.07pm. At this point Nigel was sat with two customers discussing their requirements for a kitchen. Okay, we were a little late so he was dealing with other customers. I completely understand, that's fine, but we felt it would have been polite if he could have excused himself for a moment to acknowledge us. After approx 15 minutes, Nigel finished with the other customers, then promptly disappeared for an additional couple of minutes. When he returned their was no apology for running now almost half an hour late. His demeanour was nonchalant from the get go. We sat down, explained what we wanted, which was 6 units to make a home office. Nigel isn't the greatest listener and needed reminding a couple of times of which units we wanted. After clicking away and mentioning several times we weren't having enough units to activate discounts, he showed us a price over £2500, which was before fitting or worktops were discussed. He then asked if he should continue quoting. We will never return to wickes after this dissapointing experience. We felt very discriminated against because we didn't want a full fitted kitchen and our business wasn't worth his time. We then went to another local well known d.i.y store (without an appointment) and were given a price just over £1400 including a worktop for the same design and door quality (wrapped MDF). It truly makes me wonder if the £2500 price was accurate or just a way to get rid of us. Guess we'll never know, just a hunch.

If I could have given 0 star rating, I would have done. The most atrocious service I have ever had is from Wickes. An absolutely disgusting, unprofessional, and uncaring installation and a none existing customer service. After eight weeks not one single action has been taken in regard to my bathroom installation complaints. Wickes has refused to give me thier complaints procedure. Their approved bathroom installer has refused to provide a business address, email address, and any other details regarding affiliated trade bodies and associations, and the installer has increased their bill by 67% with no valid explanation, with no major changes to the design, and the installer has given me 3 final amounts (Wickes appears not to be concerned about this, and this is their installer, I did not choose this person, Wickes did).
The complaints process is deliberately design to be dragged out past the point of installation and has made me and my husband both feeling stressed, distressed, and physically ill.
This is the most unprofessional and sloppy workmanship which Wickes appear to be totally unconcerned about, and after 8 weeks including during the installation period (3 weeks instead of 1 week as advised), no one from Wickes has been bothered to actually view onsite the botched installation (I pleaded with them to visit during the installation works) or directly talk to me about any of the problems, which are serious fundamental technical issues (for example, a moving toilet cistern incorrectly connected to the sewer and the shower fitted incorrectly so it leaks into the floorboards), and which may have to be partially ripped out and redone at my own expense (for example, the £1000 worth of tile wall panels will need to be ripped out and replaced). I was told that my bathroom was one of the smallest they would install and to date it is costing me (final bill) £10,622, not including the amount it will cost me to rectify the issues. There is so much more I could put in this review, including 9 days without a working toilet, 18 days without washing facilities, absent installer etc. but there isn’t enough room.
What an utterly miserable experience. Wickes “house proud”, MORE LIKE HOUSE SHAMED. I wouldn’t wish Wickes on my worst enemy. I feel that I have been scammed by a rogue trading company. I feel totally abused and mislead by Wickes.

I use Wickes quite regularly for work, but on this occasion I came in on my day off for a personal project. I hadn't really thought through all the measurements or exactly what materials I'd need, so I showed the staff what I was planning to build and they were really helpful in pointing me in the right direction.
What stood out was how friendly everyone was. Usually I'm in and out in a rush when I'm working, so I don't get much chance to chat, but this time I had a proper conversation with a few of the team and got on really well with them. They took the time to help and made the whole process a lot easier.

He totally ignored my wife so she walked off and all he focused on was negative aspects ie position of the shower unit he then gave me a quote without any idea of what we wanted in terms of bathroom style. I just felt uncomfortable and left it there. I will not be returning anytime soon POOR customer care.

I visited the store on Friday with some pupils from the school at work at. We spoke to Nessa who was extremely helpful. She showed us around the store and spoke about the different materials. We mentioned we wanted to buy a new bench for our playground. Nessa showed us all the available options and to buy and suggested making one. She showed us the materials and explained there was an in store cutting service so we could make them easily enough with the pupils as a lesson.
Nessa was very kind and knowledgeable we will definitely return to the store next time we want to start a project.

What I liked is that he came round to the house, measured up, and after we chose the suite, we were able to view it on the computer. Neil was very knowledgeable, not pushy & extremely helpful. The fitter, Andy, has already been to visit to check things over. Look forward to see it to completion!
Would certainly recommend Wickes.

Their Website showed the item required as “Currently in Stock”, so I made a special journey to Wickes Blackpool only to find the shelf already marked “Out of Stock”. The website still showed stock even after I returned home.
Wickes acknowledged the discrepancy but refused any goodwill gesture despite the wasted journey and fuel costs. The customer service member's replies felt highly scripted and impersonal, almost as though they were AI-assisted template responses rather than a genuine attempt to resolve the issue. Consequently I will purchase from one or other of the other local merchants or use Amazon

We visited the Blackpool store today. We were looking for a very specific piece of wood. We collared the duty manager Mark, nothing was too much trouble! Even though we were a pain wanting the last bit of wood behind several others! Customer service was fantastic. Everywhere was clean and tidy, well signed thank you ☺️

I visited Wickes Blackpool store to discuss options for both a bathroom and kitchen renovation and was supported by Nigel throughout. So far we have progressed with the bathroom options.
Nigel took the time to explain where there may be issues with design ideas I had developed myself, but tried to work to incorporate as many of my desires as possible.
As my partner was not able to join the visit to the store, we then emailed back and forth with Nigel to make minor amendments. Responses were always quick and easy to understand, again with recommendations of where our ideas would create an issue (e.g. you can't put two units together too closely in a corner without creating issues with the doors opening).
We got to our final design, delivery was organised (again, with Nigel's assistance as the dates available from the automated order link were too far out). We had then changed our minds with one final edit very shortly before delivery. Although Nigel couldn't edit the order (unsurprisingly when we asked 2 days before delivery if it was possible), but he advised to simply return the unwanted items and he'd process the return.
We did return the items on the day of delivery (which was Nigel's non working day) - and by 0830 the following day the refund was processed, accompanied by an email to advise.
Nigel - I really appreciate the fantastic customer service you have provided over the last few weeks. From your thoughtful recommendations, your patience as we worked through changes and your prompt responses to communication, it's been such a positive experience.

I visit Blackpool wickes on a regular basis and often use their click and collect service . Prior to moving to Blackpool several years ago I chose b and Q over wickes but the service is far inferior to wickes Blackpool.
The first thing you notice when walking into the store is all staff without fail are cheerful , eager to help and always go the extra mile .
It is very apparent that the staff are all an amazing team under the management of Danny .
Unlike a lot of managers he is often on the shop floor and any issue he is quick to take responsibility for and resolve .
He is also very quick to jump on a till if the store is busy .
This is the friendliest store u have found anywhere in the uk and certainly seems like a great place to work .
Danny , you’re doing an amazing job with an amazing team and just wanted you all to know it doesn’t go unnoticed .
