Delivery driver had been unbelievably…

Delivery driver had been unbelievably rude to my pregnant wife. Obstructing our walkway with over 150kg of products and expecting her to move it on her own. Wickes didn’t care about this or that we wouldn’t shop there again if this man had been sent to delivery again, even after spending thousands at their store.

Had a delivery of stones delivered to…

Had a delivery of stones delivered to wrong address 16 bags to be precise when I rang to prove it was their fault I was told there was nothing they could do about it meaning no refund or delivery from wrong address to my address total disregard for any proof I had luckily the address they sent it to gave a hand to bring bags to my address. unbelievable wickes did not care. im a pensioner and if it wasn't for the honesty of the people they delivered it to would have lost out. Avoid at all costs.

Taylor was approachable and was understanding in what I needed, he very knowledgable and I am very happy with my bathroom design. Will be using him again.

I ordered online

I ordered online. The order has not been delivered, the tracking shows it has not been delivered, and there is no clear way to complain about this or amend it.

Appalling customer service

It’s really disappointing to leave such a poor review for Wickes, as we started our bathroom project with high hopes.

The installation began in August 2025 and has only recently been completed, but the end result is still far below an acceptable standard, especially considering the amount we paid. While the service initially felt reassuring, things quickly went downhill.

Although remedial work was eventually carried out, the finish remains poor. Even more concerning was the damage caused to our home during the process, including flooding and unsafe electrical conditions while we were waiting for issues to be resolved. This made the situation incredibly stressful and, at times, unsafe.

We raised all concerns throughout and provided clear evidence, including photos and emails, over several months. However, when our case was passed to a new customer service representative, the experience became far worse. We found them dismissive, unprofessional, and unwilling to work towards a fair resolution.

We were also misled regarding compensation. We were assured that outstanding issues would be resolved. Despite us making it clear the work was incomplete, this never happened. The compensation offered was not enough to cover the damage and poor workmanship, and before any agreement could be reached, our case was simply closed without further action.

When we followed up, we were told we had provided no evidence, which is completely untrue given the extensive documentation we submitted since August.

We’ve now had to escalate the issue to the Ombudsman to try and reach a resolution.

Overall, this has been a very stressful and disappointing experience, and it has completely put us off using Wickes again. We had planned to use them for a kitchen renovation, but that will no longer be happening. Based on our experience, we would strongly advise others to think carefully before choosing Wickes.

Gemma went above and beyond for our new kitchen!

Gemma Lammimam went above and beyond when helping us to design our new kitchen. She listened to all of the things we wanted within our design and made sure that we were able to achieve everything we wanted. The final design is amazing and so affordable thanks to the sales at the moment. I can't recommend Wickes enough if you are looking for a new kitchen!

Excellent kitchen design

I had an appointment with Gemma Lammiman to design my kitchen.
I was very impressed with how she listened to my requirements and came up with a great design within my budget.
She was very knowledgeable about the technical side of the design.

Bad delivery

I had a delivery of three garden panels 6ft x 6ft each. 3 bags podtcrete 25klg each. 3 wood panel post and 3 long decking boards. I am a 75 year old women on my own ,I asked the driver to put in it in my hallway 20 yards from his van. His answer was NO! no apology and blank expression.

Don’t know

Wicked please sort your stack out at Longwell Green I am in a wheelchair. I went into the store today and your staff was all puddles around the till and not one person asked if I needed help. When I was trying to carry some Decking boards and a piece of wood your deputy manager Jo thought it was funny day oh you’ve got a good technique apparently store managers don’t work a weekend you treat the Table people like second-class citizens you’ve made me feel that I could not go out and go to shops you have discriminated against me

Kitchen Design Service

We just wanted to let people know about the fantastic service we have received. Luke Stone our kitchen designer has done such a great job. Not just designing the kitchen to such a high standard. He also pointed out lots of details that we would have missed until it was too late. Then after placing the order his help making adjustments and making sure everything went smoothly was spot on. He has been a very polite helpful professional person to deal with. It's rare to get service this good these days.

Ordered kitchen work tops for delivery but covered in paint

Ordered kitchen work tops for delivery. Driver arrived covered in paint with the back of his van swimming in white emulsion .A large container of white paint had been crushed by paving slabs covered the worktops. Unable to take delivery because of the accident it was scheduled again for today with a time slot of 11.00 to 15.00. Waited in all day but no delivery. Called the delivery company the driver had van issues so waiting for this fiasco to be sorted. Thought I was getting reasonable priced worktops but all the hassle is not worth it. The service and delivery have not been fit for purpose. Poor show all those involved.

Richard was fantastic!

Richard Bounds was brilliant, from coming out and doing the measure up, to arranging an appointment and he spent plenty of time with us choosing all the options for our new kitchen. He didn’t pressure us at all and was very patient when we were taking a while to decide! Very good customer service, and I’m so excited for my new kitchen! Thanks.

Very disappointing service

Very disappointing service. When ordering with the consultant in store soft close hinges were added to the order. Why wouldn’t they be the only choice anyways. I then contacted several other people with concerns they weren’t in the order and they confirmed they were soft close. The fitter comes they’re not soft close and I have to pay additionally for this and Wickes wouldn’t take any responsibility for their error

Wickes, Longwell Green Bristol

Wickes, Longwell Green Bristol - Taylor Wise was our Kitchen Consultant. He came to our house and designed a kitchen that worked for us. He took measurements and gave us ideas which we found very helpful. Delivery was arranged and arrived within the designated time frame. No need to stand there and count boxes as the delivery guys had a scanning system which made the whole experience effortless. However, this scanning system although pretty smart, has it's downfalls - don't think for one minute that everything you need for your new kitchen is accounted for! There was either a communication problem with the packer or, this just wasn't executed very well when being loaded. When it came to unpacking it, our kitchen installer continuously came across drawers missing and carcasses too. Customer services leave a lot to be desired although two advisors were helpful, the automated system leaves you absolutely infuriated because with something that is time sensitive, you really need assurance that you are being heard and understood. When your life is upside down, eating very laborious meals with only an airfryer and a microwave, you kind of lose the will and crave not only a decent meal, you crave a decent human being to want to help you with your plight! Couriers delivered replacement doors - one very damaged which held out installer up and drawers followed 7 days later. Communication could be better and logic would tell you that making unnecessary journeys just isn't sustainable especially when we are still waiting for a replacement door so, that will be another visit from the courier who has commented on how many times he has to deliver missing items for Wickes! This needs majorly improving if the experience is to get 5 stars I'm afraid. Taylor has been so very accommodating with helping us try to resolve the situation so he deserves recognition for taking countless emails, phone calls and dealing with us in person. When said missing door is fitted, I do have to say that the quality, look and all round versatility is beyond what I imaged so overall, it has been worth the stress. It has made me a resourceful, think out of the box person who's ironing board has taken a battering where it's been used as a worktop, stand and not to mention what it's actual purpose is for.
