Ashley Turton (Design Consultant) Down to earth, knowledgeable about the product and process and helped us from a buyers perspective rather than trying to upsell additional product.
We need to mix and match other suppliers goods into our kitchen and Ashley was happy to arrange just the cabinets and doors etc without any difficulty. We made several changes to the original design once she had presented the options.
Very professional yet personal approach from Ashley.
It's a big issue allowing a home visit to a sales person but we would welcome Ashley again at any time.

We are planning the refurbishment of our en-suite and have had the professional support and advice of Design Consultant Carl Price. He came to our house for the initial consultation to take measurements and discuss our vision. A few days later we went to the store and worked through the details. Carl came up with suggestions and we looked at the products. We didn’t feel rushed or pressurised and went away with details of all our choices to consider in our own time at home. A week later we returned to store to finalise the design. We made lots of changes along the way based on the product knowledge and experience of Carl and also are own ideas. It was an interesting and enjoyable experience and we now look forward to the builders survey with a company identified by Carl. Great service, thank you.

Carl Price was very knowledgable with Wickes bathroom products and knew his way around the computer software to add and delete items in a timely manner and give us a detailed floor plan

Let us hope that the installation and quality of the products that will be provided will match Carl’s enthusiasm and service

Really polite and helpful staff member (Harry) - I phoned ahead to check if am item was stocked and he kept it reserved for me behind the till until I arrived.
Little gesture but was having a hectic day so the thoughtfulness went a long way for customer satisfaction!

Form the very first visit Ashley Turton , Design Consultant, Wickes , Lincoln was our fairy godmother
She took my dream kitchen ideas and turned them into the most amazing design for our new kitchen
She incorporated our wish list into the kitchen design and also suggested some brilliant design ideas for us to consider which were all spot on
The design service was so successful and Ashley went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with every little detail, , nothing was too much trouble and didn’t feel pressured at all which was our experience elsewhere, can’t thank her enough for everything

We were listened to and got exactly what we wanted. Carl was brilliant. 🤩 very happy so far. Let’s hope when it’s fitted finally we will still be as happy. Great service so far.

Had a kitchen designed by Carl Price, great service. Carl is enthusiastic and clearly loves what he does.
Unlike other designers he understood the vision we had and created the perfect kitchen for us.
Kitchen quality is good for the price and our joiner was impressed with it. Out of all items received only one item was damaged which was replaced within 48hours.

Lincoln store had very helpful staff.
Thank you so much for the donation of materials to our community project. They have been put to good use already.

Visited to look around bathroom display. Found it so hot and uncomfortable within the store. Didn’t stop!! Poor staff having to work in those conditions ☹️ air conditioning desperately needed.

I made a mistake on my click & collect order but the store Steve & Harry sorted it quickly and efficiently.
Felt sorry for the staff with no air con in this heat.

I went to ask for help because I couldnt find the product I wanted. The young man I spoke to, Harry, was extremely helpful checking online for me and trying to see if and when it could be delivered. He went the extra mile in terms of helpfulness and I would highly recommend!

Glen, Liam and Harry, what a team! Half an hour of excellent advice and customer service. Having just moved needed help and they were professional and reassuring. Liam a younger member of the team was outstanding!

The design consultant Carl was very helpful when deciding on the design of our son's new bathroom. He went through every possible combination. It was very helpful to see the finished bathroom on the screen.

I have always had a great experience with customer services at the Lincoln branch of Wickes, whether it be buying tools, kitchen cupboards, hardware or paint. Today I was served by Harry who was very helpful and patient, advising me on paint. This is my go-to store for any DIY products as the staff are knowledgeable. I have never had a problem returning items. I would recommend this branch.

Bank Holiday Monday May 2026.

Went to wickes for quarter turn tap washers. Showed the chap what taps they were for (as they sell the taps). Was assured I'd been given the correct ones. 28th May fitting day (I got caught up in other stuff, so long delay). Wrong washers. Went back to wickes "we don't sell those washers", and was sold 7 and 10mm glands as was unsure of size. Went to pay, two staff in a personal conversation ignored me, after a polite prompt, they carried on ignoring me so I placed items on desk and said, "I'm off to B&Q. Arrived B&Q, helpful from the start, but like wickes, they only sell the glands and a helpful "this one will do sir". Got home, 2 minute fitting and yes indeed, that one will do. The difference between B&Q and wickes, is night and day.

We appreciated your communication and support through this first phase of the project, which we able to complete in super quick time without any stress or complication. Ashley came up with a great design and we cannot wait for the kitchen to be installed.

I rang the store and spoke to Rowan, who was very helpful with my query. He asked me to ask for him when I visited the store to purchase what I needed, which I did.
It was a complicated purchase and I wasn’t sure exactly what I needed. Rowan was so helpful and sorted it all out for me, rung it through the tills, carried it out to my car and arranged it so it fitted safely.
This was the very best customer service from a very polite and helpful young man, I can’t thank him enough!

Was purchasing six bags of top soil, compost and sharp sand with the assistance of Vicky, who was quietly confident with nothing being too much trouble. Being professional doesn’t always mean showing off with knowledge and advice, it also means understanding customers and being able to communicate in a manner that is fitting with them. Well done Vicky! You made our experience quick, pleasant and efficient ……what more could I ask!

Drafted up the kitchen plans for my first home, Carl Price has been a pleasure to work with through the process. Highly recommend.
