Visited Wickes today in Maidstone to purchase paint and aggregate for the base of a new garden storage unit. Served by Jim, who was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Really appreciated his support. Thanks!

Went into Wickes Maidstone fairly late in the evening. Found everything I needed. At the checkout, Jim asked if I was trade and I said 'no, farming'. Jim likes farmers apparently so he gave me a trade discount. What a legend. Will definitely go back if they're all of the same mindset.

I run a gardening club at a local school. Have just collected a really useful car load of donated equipment that the operations manager had ready for me. So grateful.

I work for a local charity offering wood craft to people who struggle with their mental / physical health. Wickes have been kind enough to donate some timber to us on a few occasions, which helps us to keep our cost down and continue with our local community work to help people gain life skills and well-being. Very much appreciated.

I booked a free home visit for a new kitchen, the designer that came was very professional, patient, attentive and creative. She too time in listening to what I wanted and was able to give a design with what I asked for and also what I needed.

I went with my own kitchen fitter and when they had problems following the design (due to their own stubbornness) Wickes was very supportive, they even came over to my house to explain things to the fitter.

In the end I have a brand new kitchn and I am so glad to have gone with Wickes.

My designer did a great job.

I needed an urgent delivery of topsoil as I had been let down by an online supplier so visited Wickes in Maidstone. Luckily for me a lovely lady called Tracy was able to arrange a same day delivery which saved me a world of pain and she saved me money. Fantastic experience at Wickes in Maidstone. Having done lots of research online, I realised I needed to speak to someone and called a couple of local companies as well as popping into my two closest DIY type stores. None could help, but one recommended Wickes. Called Wickes, spoke to a chap and he said "Jim's the man you need; he'll be in at twelve if you want to come and speak to him". I rocked up at 12:05, found Jim, and was not disappointed! Great to actually be able to get advice rather than coming up against staff who don't know what they're selling. Keep up the good work :)
