Wickes - Oxford Avaliações 

We have received a donation from Wickes Oxford of top soil and compost for our Recovery Through Nature Program. We are a local charity helping women to recover from drug and alcohol addiction. Mich has been really supportive and easy to talk to. Thank you very much for supporting us!

We worked with Claire to design our kitchen and she was amazing all the way through; so friendly and highly professional. Very quick to respond when we had questions and she was very experienced and understanding, she always had a solution to any layout query we had. Thank you.

I recently had a kitchen renovation completed by Red Dragon Home Improvements and am extremely happy with the results. Simon is always professional and prompt with quotes, providing ideas, and dealing with any issues. The installers did a fantastic job and were friendly, tidy and so hard working. This is the second room completed by Simon and his team, having had a Wickes bathroom installed last year, and I would definitely recommend them.

Right from when the new kitchen was designed by Claire we felt we could always go back and change anything we wanted. When i first met Simon from Red Dragon he talked me through everything and made me feel that i could go back to him if needs be. All the lads that were doing the install were friendly and asked questions to make sure everything was right. If there was one who went above and beyond was Alex the guy who installed my cabinet's. Both Wickes and Simon from Red Dragon were both great firms to deal with.

We approached Wickes because we were looking to put a new bathroom into a 19th century farm cottage that was in desperate need of renovation. From start to finish, the thing that made our experience so positive was the people! Firstly, the design consultant Melissa who listened to our ideas and turned them into a design that we were happy with. Secondly, Simon and the team from Red Dragon - who were totally outstanding! The Red Dragon team were friendly, helpful, and professional and Ciprian was the star of the show: He is hard-working and highly skilled in his trade, with a keen eye for detail. Very happy to have met them all.

Under the Community Support grant ; our primary school in Eynsham benefited from £100 worth of free paint and brushes to help decorate our Nursery classroom.
Michelle Lawrence was so helpful, to which we are very grateful .

Abbie the designer was very personable and helpful, and we're very pleased with the work Simon and all the Red Dragon team did in our kitchen installation. Without exception, everyone involved was friendly and clearly held themselves to a high professional standard. We're delighted with the finished results. The Wickes units installed (after a few setbacks with wrong/damaged parts being sent) seem to be of a high quality and are attractive in place.

Really know what they are doing at wickes in Oxford and Caitlin has a good eye for detail ,we would recommend Caitlin to anyone that wants a great looking kitchen

Melissa came and measured my kitchen, listened well to my preferences and requirements and then designed a great kitchen for me. When the quote came in higher than I could afford, Melissa helped me to make some changes to reduce the price , keeping the kitchen looking great. I'm very happy with the process so far, although we're a long way from finished!

I wanted a new bathroom and en-suite and because Wickes did a home visit for the initial consultation I decided to contact them. Melissa Hartle came to see me and we discussed the planning and a couple of weeks later I visited the showroom and spent 2 hours deciding on the furniture, flooring etc. She was absolutely brilliant, showing me various different colour schemes. A very nice young lady.

So grateful to Wickes Oxford for supporting our charity with its donation of building materials, and Manager Michelle was so helpful and supportive, thank you so much!

Very professional & listened to our requests

Had a bathroom design appointment today with Melissa. The appointment was a mix of graphic design and browsing the store. Melissa clearly knew all of the products well, offered good advice and put together a great design for our tiny bathroom. Great service

Wickes and Red Dragon Ltd did a sound job delivering me a beautiful kitchen. Thank you Alex for doing such a great job optimising the space with handy kitchen cupboards!

Overall okay.

The contractors that were hired were really good (Red Dragon). Very professional and courteous, making sure that the mess of the demolition and installation were localized to the work area as much as possible, and even cleaning every afternoon before leaving for the evening. They stayed late to ensure that certain pieces works be ready for the next day and worked on weekends too. When they found a logistical issue, they came up with creative solutions so that our bathrooms still looked really good while not necessarily to the original plan.

As for Wickes, we really liked the bathroom design that we went with, but when it came time to build, the builders said that some design elements would be unfeasible.

Additionally, the plan had not taken in consideration electrical outlets for us to use for electric toothbrushes, etc.

Lastly, there was a mistake made where our billing address was used as our shipping address. This was an honest mistake, and we were able to reroute everything, but not without a lot of attention and stress, due to the system being blocked and all the different shipments subcontracted out.

However, everyone we dealt with when resolving these issues were extremely polite and professional, and wanted to help us. It's just that the system was blocked so that they could not as easily do so.

Incredibly pleased with our bathroom done by Red Dragon. It was a huge learning curve for us, as we had never undertaken any building work before and were truly as green as grass. Simon kept everything on track, and we always felt comfortable turning to him with any concerns or questions. We’re absolutely delighted with our lovely new bathroom. A special mention to Melissa in the Oxford store – she’s an absolute gem and went above and beyond to help us!

The installers were very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and overall great. They were from Red Dragon. The experience with Wickes itself was mixed. The designer (Caitlin) did a great job with the design and all the people we talked to at Wickes were very nice, too, but the system that Wickes is using is not great. Once an error is in the system (in our case an incorrect address), it is impossible to remove, and then it can be very difficult to get a hold of anyone at Wickes or get help with fixing it. They seem to be constantly understaffed and are using so many different sub-contractors who have their own sub-contractors or service providers that it becomes really difficult to get problems sorted. It took several days of phoning and running around to get the address issue sorted and even after that there were still issues with incorrect items being delivered and incorrect amounts of material suggested/requested. Again, everyone was nice, the installers from Red Dragon were great, but the experience as a whole was rather mixed.

Michelle at Wickes was great, supporting the Stonesfield Scouts in their hut build. We are very grateful for the donation, and will be back again for sure!

We recently had an exceptional appointment with Melissa Hartle at Oxford. Melissa produced a beautiful kitchen plan for us and was brilliant in advising us on the little bits that really make your kitchen work for you - pull out drawer for your oils/vinegars next to the hob! Perfect! I would highly recommend booking in for a kitchen design appointment with Melissa.

I ordered a Kitchen through Wickes. Melissa Hartle was very professional in designing the kitchen for me and providing good feedback and advice. Very helpful and easy to deal with.
