Wickes - Stockton Avaliações 

We were really happy with the service we got from Wickes, great design, knowledgeable staff, good fitting service . We had the kitchen and utility installed and completed by August 2020 however within a few months the doors on the cupboards below both kitchen sinks had to be replaced, which they were. Roll on to March 2024 and my wife noticed a problem with the doors in the Utility and kitchen. Contacted Customer services!!! then it starts !!! My poor wife has been passed from pillar to post... visiting the store and told to contact customer services, speaking to several customer relations representatives, the last rep Danielle O'Neill decided that in November 2024 that Wickes personnel should not be talking to my wife as i had signed the contract!!! Was that a data protection/GDPR breech on their part? Hence i sent email to give permission for my wife to correspond on my behalf. To add insult to injury we were asked what we clean the kitchen cupboards with!!! ( Kitchen cleanser and warm water with a J cloth not sulphuric acid and a jet washer!!) Last communication from Danielle January 2025 "your kitchen range has been discontinued , we no longer hold any stock and due to this all claims are dealt with via the supplier under the guarantee .
The suppliers have stated that it is a care and maintenance issue ( well they would ,wouldn't they!!!)
Can you provide any proof this is the case!!!!!!!! "
All we want to resolve this issue are replacement doors that are manufactured to a durable quality that are fit for purpose. that's not too much to ask is it??? Maybe a letter of apology and a bunch of flowers. Please note that as part of the installation we purchased an integrated dishwasher ( which is fine) and we are not stood at the sink washing pots!!!

Ethan went above and beyond not only in store with a particularly difficult order but also came running out the store to find me once he realised I’d left my mobile on the counter. A very pleasant guy and a true asset to your business. Thanks Chris.

Me and my partner bought some tiles from Wickes on the 13th of January and couldn’t be happier. The tiles were amazing and the sale was even better. We got our dream tiles for an amazing price. The thing that topped it off though, was our service from Jane. Jane was so helpful and was happy to accommodate any request we made, she made our experience so welcoming and fun. Me and my girlfwend were buying our very first home purchase and Jane made it it fantastic. I will certainly be shopping back and Wickes and hopefully with Jane again.

Kevin from the Stockton branch was a huge help. Set my account up and assisted me with the purchase of my kitchen and appliances. 10/10

Bathroom installed in September, Shower tray leaked from the first use. Sink doesn't drain properly, the tap was plumbed in reverse. The fitters did not do any of the prep work, thus causing the shower tray to crack after 2 weeks as the floor was not sound. Really poor workmanship and customer services are utterly useless, took a month to get anyone out to inspect the poor workmanship, Wickes have agreed to refit the shower but that was also a month ago, nothing heard since from them.
Really whish I had looked online before agreeing to have the work done by Wickes, very costly mistake that 3 months on has still not been sorted.
Will not use again and really worried to have another cowboy in to put right the first attempt.

Zoe designed our kitchen with stunning results. We were so happy we asked her to design the bathroom too.

She responded to any queries or glitches very quickly so we had total confidence.

The work was completed to a very high standard. Although the customer centre experience was poor, Zoe's commitment and hard work more than made up for that.

So helpful. I am so pleased with my bathroom design. Rob was brilliant. He took his time to go through everything with me. Made me feel at home. I’m so glad I chose Wicks.

We went to purchase flooring in Wickes today in Stockton. I'm a small business. I was very attentively helped by Craig in the store. I signed up a business account which Craig very efficiently sorted. My flooring was brought from the warehouse to my car which was exceptional. This was such a pleasurable transaction and so helpful made easy by Craig. I'm a Wickes convert ....thank you Craig.....you make doing business a pleasure.

Just like to say we are very very pleased with our new kitchen from Wickes. Designed by Robert morrison,wickes kitchen designer. Everything from the layout to colour of worktops, units to the lighting. Nothing was to much trouble. He gave us the kitchen we had imagined. I'd also like to thank Kevin corfield a top class kitchen fitter for his attention to detail and completeing all works as promised. We would highly recommend Robert and Wickes to anyone without any doubt. One very happy customer.

Having previously rated the service received in the Stockton branch, prior to having the kitchen fitted, I thought it would be good to rate the service now the kitchen has been fitted. To say we are pleased is an understatement. The quality of the kitchen cupboards and work surfaces are exceptional. Kev, Wickes' fitter, is very good at what he does! Dave Staines, in the showroom, was always at the end of a phone if needed. I would 100% recommend Wickes. The service has been amazing from start to finish and the whole process ran so smoothly. Thank you so much.

David Staines the designer at Wickes store in Stockton - on - Tees created a beautiful design for our downstairs washroom , making this fairly small space look awesome . He communicated regularly too which was lovely of him . Molly the showroom advisor we first met also was lovely running us through some options and explaining the different items we could choose from . Till staff were so friendly when we bought the tiles too .And Victoria at Customer Service was a joy and a great help too .John our contractor was wonderful too , respectful, kind ,clear ,and did an awesome job in one week .

Rob the design consultant went the extra mile despite being ill (bad knee) came in to assist with our kitchen plans.

We were promised that fitting would take 1-2 weeks tops. We went through the paperwork with the designer who said that everything was covered and that would only be extra charges if extra work was needed. Well that wasn't the case. There was plenty of things missing and many compromises had to be made to get the job finished. When they say allow up to 20% on top of the original price I thought that was a ceiling. Well we smashed right through that. I thought this was supposed to be all inclusive.

One of the drawers was damaged albeit very slightly and we are now 6 weeks later still waiting for a remedial fitter to come and fit the multiple replacement drawers they sent us. One set was delivered at 7am on a Saturday.

I will say that the design is very nice and the kitchen that has been fitted now looks good and is functional.

However, the whole point of going through Wickes was supposed to be less stressful. If this was less stressful then I probably wouldn't;t be alive to write the review for not using Wickes.

Oh and the Customer Service team said that all of the issues (apart from sending out new drawers) were not in their remit and therefore they couldn't help me with it. THAT's when I finally got a hold of them as they always tried to call me when I was at work and very rarely answered my email queries.

So very disappointed. Will not be wasting my money with Wickes again.

UPDATE: they offered me £100 in gift cards as compensation for something that cost me £1000s more than I originally budgeted for.

The request for more information went to my junk and now the link has expired. I don't know how else to respond other than an official complaint to Wickes directly.

So far haven't heard anything more back (as of 23/9/24)

Amanda holroyd. I recently went to wickes looking for an ex display kitchen I saw one the I could have made to work. I was informed that there couldn't deliver ex display kitchens , so I then spent 2 weeks finding someone who could collect it for me on the 7 October, went through to pay a deposit only to find there wanted paying in full, now my kitchen was still on display and I had noticed damage that hadn't been there before. After phoning head office to make a formal complaint, which was also a waste of time.
If there had taken the deposit, I would have gone through on the 6 October to check it out them made the rest of the payment in cash.

It's good to see that you haven't actually read the above I wasn't aloud to pay a deposit for the kitchen. Without good reason the fact that you wanted me to pay in full for something the was still on display for another 7 weeks was unfair and un professionally

Posted previous review with regards to a product on website different to what was supplied.
Contacted the store only to receive really poor Customer Service. Posted on Trustpilot, Advisor from Wickes, Dylan acknowledged poor service and asked for further information. All details duly passed on as requested however no further contact for 3 weeks now.
The poor service continues.

I went in store today and was looking for some particular trellis, which I couldn’t find! I asked one of the ladies Sharon Smith who was so helpful and accommodating. Thanks Sharon.

We have recently benefited from the Community scheme from Wickes. We are a Primary school in the North East of England and due to budget pressures find it extremely difficult to make new developments in the school. The support from the staff at the Stockton Branch was exceptional and we received donations of tools and resources to develop an outdoor mindfulness area for our pupils and staff. Very grateful for the support received from the lovely staff at Stockton Wickes.

Ryan helped us design the perfect assessable bathroom. We wanted features that were subtle but practical for our needs. We love the finished design and everything works perfectly
