Wickes - Torquay Avaliações 

We recently bought a Lifestyle kitchen from Wickes Torquay store. Everything went smoothly until we received delivery of the kitchen, unfortunately there was damage to quite a few of the cupboards and the 2 end panels of the fridge/freezer unit were bowed. We received replacements after another month which delayed the fitting of the kitchen as we had to reschedule with our fitter which took another couple of months and without a kitchen. We had a few items left over which we didn't need, as when you purchase a kitchen the Design Consultant adds everything on to the order, end panels for everything etc. We were advised that if we didn't need everything, no problem we could return if unopened. Terms and conditions confirm this. We had a unit left over and took it back to the Torquay store. The very nice staff downstairs directed us upstairs after phoning them to advise we on our way up. However, by the time we got upstairs all staff had scarpered, we could hear them laughing somewhere. Finally somebody appeared and said that we were not entitled to bring anything back. After a heated discussion they refunded us. We also had a base end left so on another day took this back, all within the stated return time. This time they were trying every angle not to refund us. It was a bespoke kitchen (not true, it was off the shelf as advised by the staff), over the return time etc. There were several staff surrounding me. I couldn't believe it, all I wanted to do was make a return within the time limit. It stressed me out so much that I can't face going back to that store with the one item still left over, or again to purchase anything else. Staff are all smiles when you are buying a kitchen but totally different when wanting to make a return. Not good customer service at all from the kitchen section.

Team of the week in Torquay Wickes. So helpful was Tony, listening to my requirements and went out of his way to get stock from stores. Excellent customer service followed from Mary on the till and also Emily interacted as a great team and ambassadors for Wickes. Friendly staff, knowledgeable of products and a great store. Very clean store and excellent stock levels! Thank you to all in the Torquay Wickes store. Please reward these staff members with Wickes nominations for outstanding customer service.

What a clean and tidy store. Nothing was too much trouble for Mary the cashier. Couldn’t find the stock but she organised its location and had it present at the till by Anthony. Thank you Mary and Anthony a credit to Wicks .

The gentleman that helped me was called Tom he was amazing and so helpful he listened to me and he designed my kitchen to my needs I would recommend wicks and tom to anybody that is thinking of buying a kitchen

All the workers are very helpful, not a massive store but carry most of the stuff you need, above all else we got one at Torquay so I now don’t have to go the rip off place down the road, oh and I get 10% off everything.

Over the past few days I have been working on a project and decided to visit Wickes in Torquay. What a really wonderful experience. The floor staff absolutely amazing, help me no end to sort what I needed. Checked stock and acquired more parts I needed from their stock room. The staff on the checkout such a delightful team. A very relaxed DIY shopping experience

Omg, what a difference. I’d been to a few builders merchants trying to source and price the materials I needed to complete my project.
I walked in to Wicks Torquay and was immediately greeted with the warmest of smiles. The Lady behind the desk not only knew her stuff but had my best interests in hand. Connie was by far the best customer focused assistant I’d had the pleasure to meet. I couldn’t have my ideal chosen delivery date but after adjusting how we bought my order, my complete order is being delivered on my requested day. She went above and beyond for me, the customer and I truly hope “Wicks” know how good an employee they have there.

We visited Wickes in Torquay for the first time, although it's our nearest large DIY outlet. We were very impressed by the help provided by staff - especially Tony - who went out of his way to assist with our queries. We ended up buying more than planned, but we were happy to do so as the prices were excellent as was the service. 👍

We have purchased many and item from your Torquay branch of Wickes. The store is always clean well stocked and very easy to navigate around. Prices are always good value with many a good deal regularly which other DIY stores do not give. Your staff are always very helpful when finding items. The lady at the checkout is especially helpful and always very cheerful, and friendly. Good experience al round.

Lorraine is absolutely brilliant, such a professional, friendly and knowledgeable person. The exact designer you would want handing a really important space, she flawlessly knew the tiny details of products and brands, her way around the showroom to every draw example and her enthusiasm was brilliant.
