What bunch of greedy irresponsible lender, i only got 1 loan from them but they refused to refund interest for irresponsible lending. I applied few times and got refused loan then suddenly the accepted and i found out why later, they were on the brink of bankruptcy and needed more capital o lets lend to anyone who applies they did no checks whatsoever. Greed = Demise

Sadly I've now completely given up any hope of getting any money back from this appalling Company. £6092 owed, £262 offered in January, £0 to date. I have totally lost faith in ever receiving a penny. They lie.

Wonga you've been pathetic from start to end. First people are told of being paid in January. Then it moves to 4 weeks from the date you recieved your agreed dividend. Guess what we're now in March & still NO PAYMENT! And what a coincidence your phone lines been experiencing "technical difficulty' all day. 3 hours waiting on the phoneline & still not been answered then you have the audacity to put in your automated message "please bear with us". People have already been made to wait TOO LONG for a pitiful payment and you can't even get that right! ****UPDATE****Hundreads of emails later, out of an accepted claim of just over £3000 I recieved my £133.43 TODAY(21/04/20). Shocking amount and an outrageous wait but finally done!

I’m shocked at the lack of information from the company other than their promise to be paid out by the end of January!! Then another saying 4 weeks from offer! Still bloody waiting!

Not paid back money to me by an agreed date, promised the water company I could pay them, now I’m being threatened with bailiffs.

I cannot believe they still haven't paid everyone!

It's already 20 days over their original promised date - that all payments would be made by the end of January.

They then advised this was in fact BS and that payments would be made by the end of Feb. How are we approaching the end of February and STILL people haven't been paid. How is this even allowed? They trying to eek out what little interest they can get?

So they initially agreed to pay customers their redress amount by the end of January. This had been agreed MONTHS ago and communicated to all impacted customers.

They then let people down by only managing to organise a pitiful payout of 4.3p to the pound.

Not only does this happen but they THEN proceed to tell people that payout will be made 4 weeks from receiving the information of their pathetic payout. We received this info at the end of Jan - when they promised payouts would be made.

It's now been 3 weeks since we were told within 4 weeks we'd be paid. The payout date continues to be moved and lies continue to be told.

Surely now, people can honestly pursue legal aid against this company for their continued lies which are all documented.

I doubt we'll actually be paid (they'll claim incorrect bank details were given etc).

For those impacted - expected this to drag out longer than initially anticipated.

My credit file, which is my main gripe, should have already been updated by now but still their records show - even the ones which they promised wouldn't.

This company is so awfully run. The main people in charge do not deserve another position of power. Hopefully they have to take a few steps down the ladder.

I was owed over £4k and I'm getting just under £200. Have I received that yet though... of course not.

When did they promise payments to be made? By the end of January 2020. At least they've remained dishonest from start to finish.

Yes wonga are very bad I was owed £688.00 went down to 290.00 and then to 29.00 that hasn't even reached my account now the recieved all the documents and account details so what went wrong there load off crap ...if any budy would like to team up and take them to court lol .

So we all was promised a pay out mine was £1033 two years. Dates and the amount of payment keep changing and now £44 end of jan now in four weeks what's saying that by the time they do it's it be gone down to 4p they will pay out. Absolute joke all the stress and heart ache they have caused on people shouldn't be allowed should pay us what we are all owed and don't believe they carnt they just being crafty

Spent more than that on my phone bill endlessly waiting for nobody to answer my call !

Zero stars would be useful wonga took unauthorised payments mounting to £420 leaving me with no money for two weeks couldn’t feed my kids nothing. Customer services at the time were horrible to me and not putting the money back I cancelled all cards and made sure they couldn’t steal again. Now after the past year of fighting to get it back I was told I would be refunded £420 now I revived a email stating I would only get £18 back on the 31st of January. Absolutely disgusting all payday loans need scrapping.

My story:

I received a email 02/05/19 To confirm my claim had been submitted and customers within 4 months of submitting their claim by 30/09/2019 will received payments by 30 Jan 2020.

29/10/19 another email - in a position to make payments to customers end of January 2020.

10/01/2020. Email just a communication “email” again amount will be paid end of January.

Today:
Amount they are going to pay (wasn’t expecting miracles) although redress was 6k! Received peanuts...however, now payments will be paid within 4 weeks!!! Absolutely disgusting! It’s insulting enough the amount I’m going to receive and to have evidence that payments Should be paid by end of this month...now gone back on their word, keeping a hold of my money Now until another 4 weeks before these scum bags pay out!!! They don’t answer emails or phone calls....they are just sitting on the interest of My money! I’m fuming....pay us out as the 3 previous emails stated that this is end of January 2020!!

Just had my email from the administrator dealing with wonga claims. £9.32. To be received within 4 weeks. Think i will blow the lot in one on a pint of Guinness and a jazz mag.
