what a joke of an organisation!

Nobody ever bothers to reply to emails, especially after weeks of emailing, and if you try and call you are constantly on hold with the message saying " all our agents are busy". I am trying to update my details to receive payment, yet nobody can be arsed to get in touch with me.

Again, seems Wonga are still continuing to scam people.

I can only reiterate what everyone else has already stated.

I'd had a claim reaching it's final stages with the Financial Ombudsmen, until the company decided to wind up.

I don't expect much from the thousands owed as a result. What I did at least expect was them to stick to their word - which was that redress payments would be made 'by the end of January 2020'.

Unless things miraculously change in the next 2 days, they've blatantly lied. Not only have the lied for a substantial amount of time but they've refused to allow customers to have any access to their customer service team. They've basically hidden under the table and waited for this all to pass which is quite frankly a pathetic way of dealing with things.

Not holding my breath over the coming days.

Was told by the end of Jan payments would be made... it's now January 27th and heard nothing. Well done Wonga.

They stated at the end of January impacted customers would be paid.

How is it the 21st January and we still don't know the dividend payment amount. Useless.

I assume all customers will get absolute pittance to what they're genuinely owed.

I've been given my redress breakdown. Granted I'm aware I won't be paid the full amount but I have yet to hear anything from the company or those in charge of the winding up.

I've been told accounts are to be paid by 31st January 2020. I'm assuming this means ON that date rather than BY that date as I've heard nothing.

I did want to confirm my bank details were correct but I can no longer log in. Zero communication throughout - just awful. Good riddance.

I had somewhere to turn in crisis. Yes I got in trouble with monies and went through bankruptcy. But nobody feed me the monies and its not only payday loans that are available out there to put tempt and get yourself in trouble.

I want to say that I had over 20 creditors in my bankruptcy, and while almost all of them were sympathetic to my situation, Wonga was the one that from the days of my debt management were supportive. In fact Wonga was making token payment available to me not only though a phone call but also even online.

Finally, following my bankruptcy, Wonga was the first and more supportive to update my credit files as per ICO, which is something you have to chase a lot.

They always were and still are professionals, under administration or not.

Wonga will be missed, and haters will hate and claimers will claim.

I'm so so glad this dirt bag company have gone into administration. They have ruined families and lives . Buh bye

Polska pożyczka od Wonga jest super. Jest wiele innych ale żadna chyba tak duża nie jest tak tania, taniej niż w wielu bankach.

Once had a loan out, was fine. Closed my account. Find out this year they still have my details and have let fraudulent activity happen. Won’t close the case, won’t stop harassing me, won’t help me.

I am inheriting over a million in British Pounds from my cousin on my departed Mothers side. I have to pay 1220.00 pounds in order to release this money. I have been instructed by my very ill Cousin, Robert W. Peters, to put the majority of this money to help the unfortunate, with 10% which is mine to inherit for follow his dying wishes. Quick easy and cheap way to borrow money when you are stuck... What do we do now?... These so called "nice lenders" eg the banks won't even let me go 20p overdrawn after paying my wages into them for the past ten years. Whoever contributed to wonga going down you just screwed me from my last lifeline... Thanks alot idiots.

I cant say I have had a terrible time with Wonga, I needed money and they sorted me with little fuss.
The biggest complaint I have is on the one occasion that I needed to change my payment date by 1 week.
Even though I called and emailed them to ask for the change, they still called me every day, leaving messages to call them. So I called to be told, that they are aware I had asked the date to be changed.

Because this happened daily, I ended up borrowing the money from a friend on the 3rd day as I couldn't put up with the harassment anymore.

i'v been with Wonga for years now and there a great services and they helped me out had no trouble with them thank you Wonga.

Always been a very straight forward experience when I have needed extra cash. Prompt customer service.

So much easier, quicker and cheaper than an overdraft or anywhere else. I use often and will always come here first.
