VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

I ordered soft white blinds for my new bathroom.

After fitting and releasing the blinds to the down position, I was shocked to see that the blinds are not white but are cream, even beige! I contacted Wooden Blinds Direct to complain, but they have refused to exchange.

On the website the colour looks soft white which is why I ordered white, but clearly the description and colour DO NOT match the actual product.

Love these wooden blinds, will be ordering more in the future. Would be nice to have an option on which way the controls go, also be useful to have screw size so I knew which drill bit to use. But thats only little things. Happy with price, good packaging for delivery. All in all very please

I followed the guidance for measuring up for a new Venetian blind, ordered it and had it delivered and installed. I’m delighted with the blind, it’s a perfect fit and it looks great.

I'm very happy with my blind it fits perfectly and looks amazing . It arrived 2 days late but that was DHL fault they never explained why ! It was packaged very securely is very good quality and excellent value for money.
The only negative is that it arrived was no fitting instructions .

Brackets not received with blinds. Emailed and no response. Blinds cost £180 in total, a lot of money for a poor service.

I'm very pleased with the blinds. They were the right size and easy to fit. I think the price is very fair and they arrived on time.

Ordering on line was straightforward. Communication on progress and delivery good. Quality is very nice. Found the instructions to fit could have been a little better but overall a good product at a good price.

Have used this company for years without any issues until recently. They use DX as a courier who frequently sub-contract to a 'man and a van' style of courier, these couriers have lower standards over the care of items.
To compound matters WBD no longer robustly pack the blinds, they are just placed in a thin carboard box with bubble wrap (if you are lucky). There are also no edge protectors to avoid transit damage and the blinds move around during transit due to loose packaging.
My original order arrived with two blinds damaged, boxes open and blinds scuffed and bent. This took some time to resolve with the WBD as I'd refused delivery.
First replacement blind arrived OK via DX. Second replacement, which was a long blind, looked fine when it arrived, foolishly I did not unbox it. Later when it was time to install the blind we found it was bent in several places and had large impact dents alongthe length. As this was only noticed just a few days outside WBD 30 day returns period I have been left with an expensive dented, damaged and unusable blind.
WBD could easily resolve the issues I have experienced by the following simple common sense actions:
1) Use a quality courier that does not sub-contract deliveries. Many customers would happily pay a small premium for this.
2) Pack items better to reduce damages by using thicker carboard, edge and length protectors and foam padding in boxes.

The blinds are great quality, I ordered a large set and was very impressed with the packaging as I was concerned about damage. The measurements were accurate and the price was extremely reasonable for such good quality. I am ordering another set as I’m so pleased.

Awful store! No confirmation of order sent, so I didn't have any information to see when product was being delivered. I tried to cancel through Paypal as I didn't know if the order had been accepted or when delivery was, except that they took payment. Items turned up unexpected and were of average quality - really wish I went elsewhere. Website says "real hardwood" but is actually the cheapest option - basswood that nearly every site uses. Good luck if you've ordered with them!

The blinds are good, but I would have like the ends of the slates to have been painted.

I've now installed six blinds from Wooden Blinds Direct.
I ordered 3 last year and just ordered 3 more this year and they are really good quality and easy to clean. I ordered on a Wednesday, paid a little more for delivery and the blinds were custom made and delivered by Friday. No fuss or worry.
