Fast delivery and excellent quality shelving

Order was late and missing an essential part. I wasn't happy with the way this was initially handled but Chris got in touch and was helpful and polite. I received a refund

Spoke to company before I ordered. Was given advice and told that if I selected express delivery the items (many mdf shelves - 200 words worth ) would be delivered on time, ordered and thought nothing of it, phoned on Tuesday and Wednesday (the day it was supposed to arrive ) and was told it would get chased up, today is Thursday and it still hasn’t been dispatched .

The builder was booked in to do the 3 rooms today that the shelves were for our whole house is like a building site with stuff everywhere that’s going on the shelves awaiting it being installed, we had to pay the guy who has booked us in for his time (we left 4 days to make sure he would be delivered on time but paid for express delivery which we were told before hand would definitely be here by Wednesday at the latest ).

Anyway we had to pay the builder for his time for doing nothing today. But the worst part is that next week he is only available Tuesday (which I’m booked in for again, and better not have to pay him again for no work like I had to today), , meaning if we are still being lied to by woodsheets.com and it doesn’t get dispatched today and arrive tomorrow it’s going to be another 2 weeks of chaos in the house . 2 of the bedrooms in the house where shelves are going are utter chaos, all the stuff moved awash from the edges into the middle so work could proceed today . All for nothing, and it’s absolutely shocking that it’s not delivered when we were told it would be here Tuesday or Wednesday at latest.

I’ve been dealing with Hayley since I rang up Tuesday, she’s polite and nice but I’m not convinced anything’s happened . Every time I’ve spoke to her she said she’d escalated it with the warehouse team. This morning I demanded to speak to a mananger on the phone and via email, I was furious that the wood wasn’t here and I had to pay the builder, I suggested if it was a problem with the thickness of the wood then I was fine with it being upgraded to fire resistant stuff at no extra expense given it had been delayed but was told the wood wasn’t the issue it was awaiting being checked, I phoned up again a few minutes ago and apparently nothings changed. Hayley assured me we would be refunded the express delivery amount and it would still arrive in time (it won’t and can’t now) , but given I’m booked in for Tuesday at 8am it better be there before then (a week later than planned and a day already paid to get it fitted )

I really want to speak to a mananger about compensation and about ensuring this gets resolved and arrives Monday at the latest,

Good quality. I feel I had to chase up the order but I did get my order. Customer service was great can't complain. I would recommend them.

I ordered 12 different sized pieces of Black Melamine Faced Chipboard at about 9pm on 21st January, for pickup as I was in a bit of a hurry. These were for replacing plinths in a kitchen. The automated system said they would be ready for pickup on the 23rd. I set up an account so I could track my order.
Tracking on the 23rd, it said my order was in Quality Control and this went on all morning. I rang up and asked and was told that the requested edge banding had failed QC and was being rectified. As I had about an hours drive, I rang at 2pm to see when they would be ready, was asked to hold, then told they were on the way out. Arrived about 4pm and the parts were all available in the office and I was even given a hand out to the car.
All in all very good service and the job is now complete.

Ordered 4 small shelves last Thursday and all arrived the following Wednesday with no issues. Very happy with these and speed was unexpected. The communication wasn't perfect and I didn't know how long these were going to take until I was sent the "shipped" email, but signing up for an online account and checking the status there was helpful. Didn't have any of the issues others have mentioned, though perhaps due to my order being pretty small. I would probably order from them again if I had the need.

The four sheets of 9mm soft plywood which I ordered were cut accurately to size, very well packed, and delivered on time.
The Woodsheets website is very well designed, making it easy to order exactly what you want.

was after some wooden panels for doing acrylic paintings on and am really happy with the quality of these, exactly what I was looking for!

The first time I have used this company and I will use them again. The order was delivered promptly and I was happy that the size was exact and the quality of the plywood was great.

I ordered a specific sized shelf and it arrived on time and in good condition.

If you're running a company, two things matter. The quality of the service or product they provide, and the quality of the communication between company and customer. If both are amazing, then they are gems. If a company provides excellent products or an excellent service, you could forgive them for having a terrible customer service department. And vice versa. If they're a bit rubbish but have an excellent customer services department, chances are they would fix the issue.

And then you have companies like Woodsheets.com. Ordered a load of cut pieces of MDF for panelling. The individual unique pieces were ok, but the 33-off 766mm vertical slats were 10mm too long, which screwed up the design, so after redesigning the panelling going up the stairs and realising it wasn't going to work, i had to cut all 33 lengths with a hand saw.

After a calling them (resulting in a request to send them pictures showing them i'm not lying), sending that email with the pictures, following up with the complaints procedure from their website, and an email on the Monday, there hasn't been a response as per 5pm Monday 26th Jan.

If you're going to fail at the one thing you're meant to provide, and that's cutting bits of wood, at least have a decent customer service department to fix the issue.

I (obviously) won't be using woodsheets.com for future projects.

UPDATE: 27/01/2026 Customer services have been in touch and have offered me a partial refund. Awaiting the money to clear, but no further contact nor timings on this.

UPDATE: 28/01/2026. Emailed Chris at his wannagroup.com email address but not had any reply. He's quick to stick a message on all of our complaints but if you try to get in touch...nothing.

UPDATE: 13/02/2026. After being promised a refund on the afternoon of the 11th, 13 days after originally being told i'll be getting a partial refund. It's not arrived. If it comes, great, if not, and if you're reading this, best avoid Woodsheets.

FINAL UPDATE: 03/03/2026. After being promised a £35 partial refund well over a month ago, it's not arrived. It's not going to arrive. I now have radio silence. Hayley has stopped replying. Chris hasn't replied at all. 10 days ago, they said their system wouldn't allow refunds so they had to raise a cheque. Guess what didn't come?

Absolutely abysmal company. They all need firing and replacing with competent people because they will eventually run out of people stumbling past the company for the first time. If you're reading this, and you're still wondering about ordering from them, good luck.

I needed a very specific shape of wood and this service was ideal. They didn't just supply what I needed but also spotted that my original order was likely to be incorrect and took the time to check whether it was correct or it I was an idiot (I was). Excellent service.

Avoid at all costs, all the negative reviews are absolutely spot on. We experienced exactly the same themes as everyone else, emails often ignored, delivery times not met despite paying for express delivery, etc. Chargeback with my bank has been requested. Just don’t be tempted, find another supplier.

The worst online company every ordered last week express delivery so should’ve come Tuesday still not come calling them no help, tracking number they put on my order is invalid.

Too me defo a scam wouldn’t waste your time ordering big big scam. Even called company next door and said this place don’t exist
