I believed that the installation of solar would bring me benefits. It has. My electricity bills have reduced noticeably.

This company are only interested in installing as fast and simply as possible. They will demand payment with menace before the work is fully completed. If there is any problem the man in charge will give you the run around and pass the buck to others. If you do manage to speak to him to complain he will accuse you of being rude and hang up like a petulant child. The 10 year guarantee is bogus. I had to pay over £400 pounds to another company when the installation failed after a year and a half. One of the meters was melted inside could have caused a fire. The installation is now wired as it should have been and the Solis app is now working correctly which it wasn’t before. I got all sorts of excuses as to why it didn’t work properly from the start. If anything goes wrong with this company they will string you along but will not fix the problem.
There was nothing wrong with the inverter the wiring installed by Zest was at fault and they would have found that out if they had examined the installation which they refused to do. I had to speak to the manufacturers myself after months of prevarication and inaction by Zest.
This man’s pathetic rebuttals only prove my assertions.
Do not expect any help from this company if anything goes wrong with with your installation.

Zest Energy have been an excellent company to deal with from start to finish. As advised by the friendly consultant I ordered a Growatt solar system and this has now been in successful operation for around 6 weeks. The installation team were on time and the work carried out was to a high standard. Highly recommend, Vicky

Fraudsters

I booked a solar installation with this company and paid a deposit. I then lost my partner to cancer. I informed them that i would not be able to go ahead with the installation and they stated they would return the majority of my deposit, minus admin fees. Over the course of a year they have repeatedly claimed they would return my money, but have failed to do so, including claiming that they have posted cheques, which have apparently been lost in the post. Avoid this company at all costs, I am now considering reporting them for fraud.

I arranged with Zest Energy in October last year a survey in regard to installing solar panels on my property. Despite being wary my worries where sharp and put to bed as the advisor was extremely helpful in talking and helping me understand the process. After deciding to go ahead with the company my panels were installed by there very kind and helpful installation team who carried out the work to a very high standard and were extremely patient answering any questions or queries i had and made sure there work area was immaculate by the time they had finished. Since using the company i have and would recommend them to anyone considering or interested in solar power.

My experience dealing with Zest has been a very pleasant and assuring service from the first call to my installation I recently had solar installed late last year and contacted zest in regards to adding a battery storage to my system. The advisor who came and surveyed my property was extremely helpful in advising me if the best scenario for my system and explained in great detail about the systems the company offers. My installation went without a hitch the installers where very professional and took there time in explaining how to work the system and were very patient with myself. Overall I would highly recommend Zest after dealing with other companies previously I couldn’t see myself using anyone else now.

sales man pushie saying you have to take it for the price he gave me and said the other companys i got a quote from are not to be trusted to do the job he would push me more to take the panels and batteries from them and i just said no

Terrible. Installation of electrical aspects was good but roof work hopeless. 2 weeks after “installation” found a disconnected panel just left on roof! Panels also not aligned to South.
On evening of installation had foul mouthed Zest director demanding immediate payment.
Agree negative stars would be appropriate.

Had freezing rainy weather the day the panels went up. Didn't phase the team. They worked really hard and efficiently all day. Solar panels are huge when you stand by them!
Polite, pleasant and hardworking.

Good and complex planning and time taken to explain the procedure. Good job completed by workmen who turned up when were arranged to. One outside and one inside installing the electricals for the panels. Completed it all in one day and took away all packaging and rubbish leaving home tidy.
