Beware of BG Smart Meters

I was with BG for dual fuel and had their smart meters installed. I left for another supplier and then returned to BG. I was surprised and appalled to receive an email message telling me that the smart meters, which BG installed, would not work following my return to them. Surely BG - a primary supplier - can do better?

Hi Mr Kidd, when you moved to the other supplier we would've lost contact with the Smart Meters so would need an engineer out to recommission them and get them up and running again. After 28 days of you been back with us we should have all your meter details from the previous supplier and can get this booked in with you. Cheers, Leanne
